In Texas, we dread the DMV (MVD), and it really is just absolutely a nightmare. However, MVD now, I mean holy crap. This process is so easy and streamlined. I did the title and license all at the same time. So, I think Texas can learn a thing about how they do this. I'm being pretty serious. It sucks to do this in Texas soooooo bad. Sooooo bad. As for the price, it was very reasonable and the place was fairly clean. However, the one thing that really needs to be expressed is Michelle and Sherri. Most of the people we have met here have been amazing, and these two ladies are outstanding. Just awesome. Kind, informative, and really do a great job. Due to a DUI in So Cal almost 9 years ago there were many "glitches" with communication to and from Santa Fe. The DUI process is very difficult here. It was good to have an independent company on my side with all. As we didn't have an option of a private company at CA DMV it's refreshing to be able to go to a nice clean office with very short waits. Returned the second time with all requested paperwork but they could not do the registration as we needed a NM bill of sale. They charged us nearly $50 for a VIN inspection, and advised us to go to the state DMV. We were told that if the service we paid for was not accepted by the state, they would refund the fee. At the state DMV, the MVD express VIN inspection was not accepted as it was not completely filled out. All other paperwork, which MVD express had told us was not adequate, was accepted and the vehicle was registered. I returned to MVD express ( my 4th time there) to obtain a refund and was told that I should have brought the VIN inspection back so they could complete the missing information. I told them it was a non issue, was told refund would be made by check, but as the receipt was made out to my husband (who was not present this time), even though I had paid with my credit card, they could not process the refund! I called their service number and put in a complaint-was told I would get a call back- but have not heard anything since. Pure incompetence! Will never use this business again and am telling everyone I know to stay far away from MVD express!

I was very rudely told by Taeler that he was supposed to get off work at 4 and hadn't had lunch and therefore wasn't taking anymore car titles. I said the call center said I could walk in and he responded that technically that's true but he wasn't going to do it. I have never been talked to so rudely or been treated so poorly. This man's job is customer service. I later found out that he is the subject of many complaints for his rude behavior towards customers. I don't know how he is still employed but that should be unacceptable.
