Despite this being in another county, they have the quickest appointment for the next day. I arrived, checked in a couple minutes before my appointment and was in my car five minutes after my scheduled appointment! The staff were in a good mood and personable which has generally not been my experience at the MVA. Now that I know how this works, I will be driving here to get things done.

I had an appointment and quickly checked in, sat down, and waited for my number to be called. After just a few minutes past my appointment time my number was called. I had hoped I had all the right paperwork as I had a handful of items that I needed help with. Enter Josie, the lady who helped me. She was very helpful and friendly and when I asked for help with all of my issues, I anxiously waited to be told that I would need to come back. Well, I was wrong ago. Josie responded to each of requests and quickly resolved each issue. She was just so nice! I walked away with a renewed sense of respect for the MVA thanks to Josie.

Damn, new Yelp hate reads unlocked. Like, maybe Larry's Towing in Wichita is as bad as you say but…read moreonly a crackpot would rate Annapolis one star. As one who has dealt with "you don't have a car? KYS" rhetoric I have no sympathy for fools who go to a popular historic town and whine about parking. The town runs a free shuttle to make things easier and the core super-crowded area is only a few blocks. Enjoyable scene overall. Not as "try hard" as Inner Harbor and a hint of upscale maritime culture but not in an oppressive way like when I sat near a table of Rick Von Slonekers in Petoskey. You don't like overpriced touristy T-shirts? Me neither. Views of ancient (by American standards) buildings are free. As is the spectacular sunset at Spa Creek Bridge (seasonal, I'm not an export on earth curvature but it's there in August).

I left the car clean and thought everything was fine. The next day I was charged an $100 cleaning fee. I called because I thought it was a mistake, but I was told I dumped trash behind the business, and people had seen me and recorded me. That was impossible since I did not dump any trash. My U-Haul was to bring large furniture to my new apartment there were never even any trash bags in the truck. I asked to review the footage and was told it would be sent to me. It's been four days, and I have not received any footage, just photos of trash bags nowhere near where I left my truck. I asked the woman on the phone to review the footage, as I was certain I hadn't dumped any trash, but she refused. I had to go through UHaul to get my money back, and I never received any apology or acknowledgment that I was accused of something I did not do and then charged.
