The best driving school. Really experienced and nice instructor. He prepares for your driving test very well and tells you what's important for the test and driving in general. I took his lessons for 6hours. It was my first time driving but I was confident and comfortable after his lessons! At first I was nervous because the instructor was not native English speaker. Awesome instructor here. I was already a licensed driver but needed to learn the road code for my state. I did only one class and he showed me my minor faults and says to practice a little bit more. In a few days, I scheduled my drive test and informed them of the day. My drive test was today and I passed with a perfect score. I have recently moved to Bay Area and left side of the road plus the speed was a frightening thing for me. Until I was told about Harbhajan from MV and his success rate. Very pleasant experience to begin with, my first 2 hour class was great. He was confident I would clear the test in next couple of sessions. I continued to take lessons as I wanted to get more comfortable. Took me about 8 classes just for the sake of practicing:) Harkanwar- the other instructor is pretty good too especially with all the markings like an examiner:) helped me enormously in confidently passing my test in the first attempt at Santa Clara DMV. Provide pick up and drop. Always on time and have accommodated few minutes extra if needed. They are very busy so book your schedule a week in advance to avoid large gaps in your sessions. read more

Update: 2/10:2015 I had my last class yesterday and my just passed my dmv test today in the morning. I used the same car i practiced my 6 hours for the driving test. I felt comfortable using the same car i had practiced my driving. Mr. Singh was with me through this whole process. From picking me up from my house, to taking me to DMV, standing in the DMV line with me and overall he made me very comfortable before my driving test. Also, gave me tips on what DMV expects from me as a new driver. I only made 2 minor mistakes and passed the behind the wheel exam :D. I just had to update the review on this business because their customer service is outstanding, from being flexible with making schedules to teaching me how to drive. read more

Mv driving school is hands down the BEST, they have most PROFESSIONAL, most WELL-INFORMED driving instructors .  During my 2 hour class I learnt SO much.  instructor monty brought his own black board so he could draw all the traffic scenes for me.  I came in being terrified of driving and just felt like I was going to crash into anything and everything but came out feeling much more ease behind the wheel. Monty is a very patient and calm driving instructor which was exactly what I needed.  He always arrived on time and picked me up where ever I needed to be picked up. We drove in almost every scenario I could think of. He also happen to give me some practice at talking while driving which was another thing I was TERRIFIED of. Overall this driving school tops everybody else's price in alameda county and the customer service is great. This is the best driving school ever. I had my first driving lessons from another driving school from hayward and it cost me so much for 2hours and I never went back. I was referred by my best friend to MV Driving school ( Fremont) because her brother never drove his entire life. He and Me went for just one driving test and we PASSED!!! It only means that all the instructors are EXCELLENT AND THE BEST!!! I moved to the Bay Area at 17, right after high school, and never got around to getting my driver license since I was happy enough taking AC Transit and BART. Now that I'm 26 and actually WANT to drive, I had trouble finding someone to practice with. I found MV Driving School through Yelp and they provided me with the best driving training I could have asked for. I passed my driving test on the second try (only because I was sick and hit a curb the first time). I took 8 hours of lessons and used their car for the driving exam. My first two lessons were with Harbhajan and he was the perfect instructor for a complete newbie. He was patient and took the time to really explain the proper way to maneuver a car. The other 2 lessons plus the exam were with Simrat. She was incredibly nice and chatted with me the entire time. At first it made me nervous, but I'm glad she was so talkative because it helped me practice all the multitasking. Scheduling with them was easy. They will pick you up and drop you off at your desired location. They're very flexible and return calls very quickly. After the first time, I was able to schedule via text and they'll send you text reminders about your upcoming lesson. Compared to other driving schools in the area, they were a bit more affordable. I also like that they use double-control Toyota Corrollas without the giant "student driver" signage on the outside. (There is a magnet they can attach to the back). Dunno. The first time we booked a class with this school it was cancelled owing to instructor unavailability (he had a genuine reason for this though), then it took 2 weeks for the next class to get scheduled as everything was booked. The next class the instructor arrived almost 50 minutes late. Supposedly traffic problems, but within the same city for someone to be 50 minutes late is probably more than just traffic problems. The 2 hour class also ended 10 minutes too soon. I'd stay away from this one. read more

After reading the reviews about this driving school, I was surprised with the service I received. Not only did my instructor fail to inform me he was going to be 15 minutes late, I was given attitude when I asked around what time he would arrive. Quite unprofessional, at least warn your students you will be arriving late instead of having them wait and wonder. read more

If i didn't find this driving school i don't think i would have passed my driving test. i had Mr. Singh for all 3 sessions and he was a great instructor. he knew how to make me feel comfortable behind the wheel. and he had ALOT of patience. and my very last session he took me around the area of where i was going to take my test. and by the time it came to the day of my test i passed on the 1st time. I'm so happy because i think that if i didn't find this school i would've still felt very scared and not confident behind the wheel of a car. over all I'm very happy with this school and i recommended it to my younger cousins that are going to start driving soon as well. read more
