Shocked by the price tag for gowns with damaged lining, damaged sequence and beading, zippers stuck, buttons missing, dresses ripped and falling apart ... what is this place!! They show no respect for their gowns, just shoved/packed into the racks like sardines. The stores aesthetic was similar of a dirty, dingy thrift shop. The inside of the store is nothing special. When you first enter in you feel you are going to get great care and then when someone approaches to start a fitting room is when it tends to go downhill. Your assigned someone to help you but not with what you would think. They are more for theft control and to get you in and out as fast as possible. I asked about a dress my daughter saw online and was told that they didn't have it. I asked about ordering it and they acted as if I never asked. They offer no feedback on ideas about dresses that are similar to ones you are trying on or ones you might like. The customers do all the leg work when it comes to finding dresses. They may look for a size for you but that's about it. Also don't bother hanging the dresses up unless you want to feel lesser than. I understand that the dresses are not cheap but it's not that hard to hang a dress on a hanger correctly...but they will make you feel like you can't do it. Most of the dresses are damaged in some way and don't expect a fair discount. Trust me we looked for undamaged dresses. The one we selected the zipper was extremely hard to get up and down, missing eye and hook, beading missing in several areas, strap was hanging on by a thread and can't remember what else but those were the major ones. I don't enjoy leaving bad reviews but my daughter and I both walked out feeling very uncared for with an expensive dress. Everyone's experiences will be different so I hope yours will be better. I never write reviews, but feel the need to leave one this time. First, way too crowded. They have dresses on racks, some are in plastic bags, some are not. You have to step all over the bottom of some dresses, having to step over and on them to walk to the back of an overcrowded rack and aisle. Gives Marshall/Ross vibes. My first concern was "am I buying a 500-700$ dress that's been stepped all over?" 2nd, not getting a garment bag and having to spend 10$ to get one after spending 700$ on a dress? Come on. 3rd, they claim that nobody else from your high school can buy your dress. They have a notebook where they write the style down. I question that because you pick your dress and then WE asked about the list. I seriously doubt they really keep up with that or tell people "no" when they finally find their prom dress. 4th, the service....stop trying to up sale to buy earrings, etc. Heck, I've got to buy a 10$ garment bag. SMH. There is an underlying vibe with their workers, mostly high school girls. Definitely a snobby, if you aren't a certain type of consumer, they treat that person less than. I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. We had GREAT service from every single employee in the shop. Sophie probably helped us the most and she was a doll. I love how the staff encourages you to try as many options as you want, is happy to look for things in other sizes and make suggestions. The quality and pricing is good and comparable to what we see online for these higher caliber dresses. They helped us narrow down to 2 dresses and sealed the deal for the perfect choice. Even had suggestions for modifying for additional use and earrings to match. Overall the best dress shopping experience we have ever had and this is prom #3. read more

This place is poorly designed to shop comfortably... A mad house to say the least. Came here to shop for a prom dress for my senior niece. How is anyone to walk through and between racks of gowns? Not to mention there's not much of a seating area... The whole store is super unorganized and confusing since no one bothers to explain how their process works. They start a dressing room for you, but you have to wait until your name is called because there's a line of other girls waiting to try on their dresses. Dressing room attendants need to help move the line faster. Overall, there needs to be a better process, possibly appointments only to eliminate the crowding of a small shop? This is more than likely a fire hazard waiting to happen with the overcrowding issue. I would not recommend coming here at all. Extremely unorganized, and unhelpful staff. Want to be help and attended to like a decent human being? Probably best to be Caucasian entering through the store. read more

Greeted at the door (basically stopped in our tracks) to tell us the baby in the stroller had to be held so we didn't roll over the extremely tightly packed dresses which I get, the store is very basic and extremely small. we offered to stroll the baby just to the back and park him with his Nana while mom shopped but they said NO. Full disclosure....we also had a 3 & 5 yr old, but Nana was present to sit with the kiddos. Then was told that we could not bring our doggie bag from lunch in; We couldn't leave in the hot car. Before you travel to Muzzie's, here are some things to know: The managers are rude. They will not greet you. Teenage staff will be assisting you find a dresses. The young ladies helping us in the dressing rooms were incredibly sweet and kind, particularly Grace and another young lady who I wish I could remember her name. They were extremely gracious and absolutely lovely to work with. We drove 45 minutes to get there. We looked for dresses for another hour. When I asked management ( not the owner) if I could use the restroom they encourage all customers to leave the store and use Chicken Salad Chick's. We left and bought something at the restaurant so we could use their restroom. Muzzies store is old and small. You need to come during the week because on Saturdays a few moms and daughters will be suffocating. We were there looking at an $1800 Sherri Hill dress which my daughter loved but the dress had a small tear on it. It was nothing a good seamstress couldn't fix but who wants to pay full price on a snagged dress. My daughter is petite so finding her size is difficult. Even though we loved the dress, I couldn't purchase it on principle. Growing up in Texas we are accustom to just basic pleasantries. Muzzie's makes their main business on pageant dresses so if you are looking for quality management service, this isn't the place. IF you live on the north side of of The Woodlands and want a Sherri Hill dress but don't want to drive into Houston, bare and grinned it! We made the drive to another dress shop. read more

The young girl helping us (celeste her name might have been?) was very very sweet, THE MANAGER however, was extremely rude. They closed at 5, which i understand. We got there at like 4:30, tried on the dresses and at 5:10 i was told "So are you going to buy one because we closed 10 minutes ago." I was appalled. Yes we were going to buy a dress but after hearing that I took a picture of the style and am taking my business elsewhere. Went here a few days ago looking for a dress. I was the only one in the store and I felt as if I was a bother even being there. The employee stared at me the whole time while looking through the dresses around the whole store. I didn't try anything on, didn't ask any questions and was alone. My daughter and I were shopping for her 2020 prom dress, and I had heard and seen, on social media, that this was one of the places to go. If you are under a size 14, and remember dresses like this run small, then absolutely, you are going to find a dress here. They are separated by color and size, but PACKED in the store. However now this place is ridiculous, I took my daughter here to try on prom dresses after we had gone to many other stores and the place was packed we would have to get on a list just to try on a dress and the wait was over 30 minutes just to try on an extreme overproced gown. I will say though if you want a unique dress this is a good place to go but after going to other dress shops that had alot of the popular styles for the year we noticed everything in the shop was double the price of everywhere else. The store is filled with crazy entitled soccer moms running around with their daughters acting like they work there and judging other young girls in dresses and talking about them aloud.... So if you want to go somewhere where you have to wait 30 mins just to try something on and have entitled soccer moms standing over you and acting like their daughter is the only girl who should be in the store then this is the place for you.... seriously stay away from this over priced circus. read more

First off, I dread the entire prom dress shopping process, and I was prepared to go to several different places in order to get it over and done with. As soon as I worked in the door, I was greeted and explained the process of how they do business. They told me to find a dress to secure a spot in the dressing room, and to continue shopping while waiting for a fitting room. We went through the store selecting several dresses and immediately were greeted by young ladies to take the dresses to the fitting room while we continued to look. The customer service was awesome and the staff was friendly and helpful. The entire process took us a little over 2 hours, but I am done shopping....hooray! This dress shop sells defective dresses from designers and pass them off as new dresses. My daughter purchased a dress here- upon trying on she decided on the dress put down a down payment and then upon pick-up she was told she had to pay the dress off then she could have it. Upon returning home and opening it - it had a line of holes in the front of it. We called several times and left voicemails with no return call- finally called today and spoke with the manager and to say she was rude and condescending would be an understatement. Obviously this was not the same dress she tried on in the store. They prey on teens that are excited about getting a dress, prom etc.. do not allow your daughter to shop alone here-Go with them to guide them.Of course she left the store and should've checked it there -lesson learned. Would Have Given Zero stars if possible. I chose the layaway option. I gave the dress a thorough look over for no rips, tears, etc. nothing was wrong with the dress i put on layaway a week ago. However, i pick up the dress today and pay the rest off. $470 total with tax and layaway fee. That's not just peanuts. When i picked up the dress, I find that it has holes and a random thread right down the middle of the gown. Almost as if someone too big had tried it on and ripped the seam. They trick you with the "All Sales Final" signs. Did not notice until i got home, i thought i was getting the dress i originally tried on. This is bizarre. I am a high school student who has saved up for weeks for this and now it is wasted. Would not recommend. Maybe would have been fine with it if it didn't have holes between the threading , as if it was done by a 5 year old, and it wasn't directly down the middle of the dress. Do not buy from this shop! They take advantage of young girls naivety. My daughter purchased her very expensive prom dress here and told me that a salesperson helped her. When she tried it on for me, we discovered that it didn't even zip properly. This is supposed to be a high end shop, but obviously they simply care about making money and don't care if they take advantage of teenagers. The dress is non-returnable and I am going to have to spend a lot of money to have it altered. She is tiny and clearly didn't gain inches in the waist in a few weeks. She had no idea that she'd purchased the wrong size since the woman helped her and she had no idea it wasn't all the way hooked. Shame on you! read more

Had some beautiful dresses, but only about a hand full. You literally have to hunt through the tightly packed rows of hugged dresses and it's not easy! Yes I understand that they have many girls at the same time asking for help with the dressing rooms, but if they know they're going to have a busy day because of prom season they should prepare and have more help around. Oh and also you have to wait about 20 minutes to try on your dresses because of how busy it is. Horrible business and horrible service. I came in during the week and there was only 2 other customers in the store, 2 beautiful blondes trying on dresses. I was excited, seeing the amazing customer service they were receiving. Well, I got none of that. I wasn't greeted when I came in, I got dirty looks from one of the women who helped me and even made comments like "What's your budget? This is a little on the higher side." She was extremely cold and snatched the dresses from me, rolled her eyes when I asked questions and even poked fun at my weight. My friend and I were the only non white people there and find it interesting that we were the only ones to be treated so poorly. The woman who helped me even had the nerve to enthusiastically greet her next two customers. Thank God the service was so bad that I didn't find anything, because I would've hated to give them a dime of my hard earned money! I called the store back to make a complaint and they hung up in my face, so yes, I think these people are racist and run a horrible business. Walking into Muzzie's is dress heaven. I love how they have the dress racks organized, all color coordinated. The wait for a dressing room to be available is terribly long, whenever you find a dress, you have to give them your name to put you on the waiting list, and once they do call you in, there's no mirrors inside the room. I do not like that because coming out in front of everyone just to see how certain dresses looked on me made me feel very very uncomfortable. Luckily, I found my dream dress , a little pricey, but totally worth it. I'd have to say, the only reason why I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the employees there, one to be exact, she was so rude and made me re-think of buying my dress. She made a comment saying "this dress doesn't fit you, you need a bigger size" which I didn't, it fit perfectly, she just seemed too lazy to pull the zipper up. Came here to buy my prom dress and I found what I wanted but my experience at the store was terrible - I got the perfect dress for me and I still left unhappy as my experience was frustrating and put me in a really bad mood. Several other customers expressed the same feeling to me at check out. The staff didn't even pretend to care about the customers, not to mention that my dress had a rip in it and they didn't take any off the price or offer to fix it. Also, DO NOT trust the prices they have posted online, I came looking to try on a dress that the website said was $350 but then I got there and the actual price was $500.
