When in Rome, act like a Roman, right?…read more But once in awhile, it's kinda nice to have a quick taste of your "norm," even if it's just for a few minutes. Located on one of the busiest streets of Dagupan, Starbucks is a welcoming sight for sore eyes. After running a few errands around the area, it was a good stop to make for something cold and for a snack. Parking was a challenge. There are about 4 spaces up front that can be shared by patrons of all the other establishments in the area. We got lucky to score one of them. We walked in and I immediately liked the open and welcoming space. It was quite inviting. There wasn't a line, so we took our time putting in our orders. Now, I'll admit, a couple of us took a minute to make up our minds, but the cashiers were patient. They also suggested a couple of cakes and pastries. Now, I'm not a sweets person, and I usually just take a bite just to say I tried it, but gotta say the crepe cake was pretty damn good! Good enough for me to eat almost half of it! That, I would recommend. Free WiFi. Place is clean - clutter didn't last longer than a few seconds since someone was always around for immediate clean up. It's a good place to chill. Me likey.

DINE IN DURING PANDEMIC…read more One way in, one way out, mask/face shield/temp/alcohol hand wash/questionnaire mandatory when walk in. Most patrons and workers wore only masks. Staff are friendly and shout greetings as you enter. They're hardworking, efficient and you can ask any one of them for assistance. You order at the counter then they bring the food to your table. Many menu items are not available, so ask before ordering to prevent disappointment. After ordering we chose to sit at the table furthest away and most isolated from the others. There was a screen and a fan facing away from us: hubby said it was to blow the Covid germs the other direction HAHA! They have a nice, spacious dining area with comfortable seating both inside and outside. We ordered the sausage breakfast. The "toast" was very pale, next time I'll have to tell them "well done". Other than the toast, breakfast here is always a solid choice. Because of the pandemic we rarely go out, so to celebrate we had the Tiramisu Macaron and Affogato for dessert. The ice cream in the Affogato was too sweet for me to eat by itself; but it balanced perfectly when paired with the bitterness of the coffee, not bad. The macaron, on the other hand, was meh. I'm sure it would have tasted much better fresh from the bakery; but the macaron was already stale. I'm sure we'll be back when we're in the area. I adore breakfast burritos because it is a filling, healthy alternative to fast-food. When I was a…read moreworking mom running and gunning, it was also a cheap breakfast that was easy to eat on the go. Good Mexican food is a scarcity here in the PI, so I've been telling my hubby about the breakfast burrito here. We finally found some free time to stop by. WE ORDERED - Breakfast burrito (added sausage for P50 more). Flavorful and tasty. Green salsa complimented the burrito well; but I thought it was on the salty side (the burrito had enough flavor so it didn't need more salt). Hubby prefers a higher salt level than me so he enjoyed it. - Filipino breakfast - comes with two eggs, rice (this was on the hard side), and longganisa. The sausage was sweet, savory and delicious, pair it with spicy vinegar (you need to request it) to compliment the sweetness. - Cafe Americano (complimentary with breakfast)- a blend of four coffees that they roast and grind in house. We asked for it iced. This was strong, so we added sugar and milk. - Iced Tea - today's flavor was Jasmine (they switch out teas when they finish a batch). This was floral but not over steeped, so I enjoyed it once I added sugar. Things have improved even more than last time. Now you can ask to have the complimentary coffee iced OR you can have it replaced with their available tea (hot or iced). The regular staff are now just as attentive as the management. They offered us ice water before we even had to ask. I left a tip in their tip jar and they actually thanked me, it's the little details that I feel make a business 5 stars. If you run into any any problems, make sure to approach the managers; they're easy to talk to and they'll make things right.

I went here with friends and we got a booth upstairs. It wasn't too loud so I was able to get some studying done. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte and it was good! Maybe kind of pricey it was 160P. Didn't try the food but the cakes are 100 plus for a slice. Come here for the studying environment. It is very cute. I was here on a Friday night and it wasn't completely packed. Hopefully I can go here earlier in the day so I can really study all day here. It is open until 3am! My issue is that there is no wifi...only good thing is that less distractions but sometimes you just need some good wifi while studying. Excited to come back here and study even more :)

But what I love about this cafe is their booths for seating. If you are fond of sitting in the floor or lying down, then this place is for you! One downside is that they don't have wifi, which is one of the things I consider for a perfect hangout place. But if you do want to really talk and hangout with your friends, this will be a good place for you.

I decided to try this coffee shop with some of my cousins post dinner. The place itself is very…read moretrendy and modern, which I liked. The inside is very clean and aside from the coffee/tea/drinks that they offer, they also offer an array of pastries. For this visit we strictly had beverages. I decided to order a latte, which was actually really good. My drink had a foam design on it depicting a heart, which was pretty cool. Overall, I was happy with my choice. My brother and other cousins decided to order the Pearl Milk Tea, Iced Flat White, Iced Chocolate, and a blended frappe/drink. The Pearl Milk Tea was bland and had little to no sugar in it. My cousins did not enjoy this drink. My brother, who ordered the Ice Flat White also did not like his drink too much as it also did not have any sweetener in it. The other drinks which includes the Iced Chocolate and frappe was pretty good and was just the right sweetness/taste. I suggest to the owners that for drinks in general to have the option to add some sugar or sweetener in it. Otherwise you can ask for sugar or Splenda and they will provide it to you. I did taste the drinks that my cousins and brother had and I must say it wasn't very good without some sweetener in it. As far as the service goes, everyone was pretty nice and answered any questions we had in regards to the drinks. The one thing I would say too is that the price of the coffee is a little steep. It is definitely equivalent to Starbucks pricing. However, I don't think the execution of the drinks is as good as Starbucks. I love coffee and coffee shops in general and would come back here again in hopes that my suggestion in regards to the sweetener gets put into place. I think this can generate more revenue as people would enjoy their drinks better! Also, if I was a student in the Tarlac, this would be a great place to study as they also provide complimentary Wi-Fi.
