Okay Yelpmates. Just how good is your life today? Hopefully you're finding the specs of wonderful…read moreeven within those dark moments. Pretty sure it's there if you look hard enough. Slow down. Be with me for 6 minutes. Can you share a moment with me? Me, I am still on my retirement living, so this trip isn't vacation. Life as an energetic retiree is 100% vacation mode, all day, every day. I'm still in southeast Asia exploring Americana abroad. Seems western culture is celebrated here to the extreme. Today, another trip to Cinnabon. Check the pics. Here, the minibons are almost the size of a full cinnibon stateside, and the full sized Cinnabons, are Monsterbons. Why did I have to travel 8285 miles to get a proper Cinnabon? Yes, they also do this better than us. Lighter, but dense enough to give you a good rich bite. The coffees are megastrong. Service? Come on, this is just the friendliest place on earth since Mayberry. It's as if Aunt Bea, Andy, Opie, Barney Phife are somewhere here. Just that nice. If you know the reference, sheesh you're old (like me). Gotta go. Thank each of you for reading. I hope wherever you are in your lives, you're enjoying a bit of sweetness as I have here in the Phillipines at C'Bon. Life isn't short. Life is a million moments long if you're present and egaging them. Get unfocused, unrushed so you can take more of these mini-moments in. Like the thousands of grains of cinnamon in a humble Cinnabon, the moments add up to something sweet n' rich if you take time to savor each one. Don't wolf them down. Sit still, bite big, chew small, let life sit on your tastebuds a while. You don't have to travel far, or be retired to enjoy your life, you simply need to make the choice to. Be well, be loved, bite, sip, bite, sip. You really are worth enjoying your one life a bite at a time. Hope you've made that choice. Thanks again if you slowed down to read this far, to really read takes giving in to moments. If you are here with me now, I so appreciate you. Peace folks.

I love, love, love Cinnabon! They have THE BEST cinnamon rolls out there: soft, slathered in cream…read morecheese frosting and loaded with cinnamon. These rolls are big; they're baked fresh every day in-house and served up warm. Real espresso is used in their hot and cold espresso drinks. They have seating inside and outside the store, the aircon is strong, staff are friendly and efficient and there is self serve complimentary water. Yes, I'm coming back when the craving strikes.

Cinnabon - Two coffee 2 bun deal. One happy me about to get my grub on. PHP375, or $6.75. Sweet lil buns.

Korean Number 1 Bakery - Cream puffs are filled with a delicious cream. I still prefer the ones at Mr Parks because the shell tastes fresher and is softer.

4 stars for their yummy drinks, high speed Internet, clean dining area, nice staff and strong…read moreaircon. I come here often when I'm in Korea Town and just want to hang out. I get caught up on Yelp, update a bunch of apps, or study: I'm a satisfied patron. PREVIOUS REVIEW: It was early morning and I was walking down Korea Town, this pretty patio caught my eye. Apparently smokers like to hang out in the outdoor patio because I noticed some used ashtrays on the tables. Inside is air conditioned with some semi-private tables. The place is roomy and clean, with cute decor and upbeat background music. They have a super strong and fast WiFi. Baked goods are wrapped in plastic just waiting for you to pick them up. Everything is baked fresh in house. The staff told me that the actual prices are 20% off of what's posted: interesting gimmick. Grab a tray and bring your items to the cashier in the back. One time they had some samples available. Good thing I tried the "brownie" which looked more spongy like a cake: it was dry. Tried their cookies and they were bland and dry. I wanted to try one of their mini cream puffs but they don't sell them by the piece. They have nice looking cakes and you get a free loaf of bread if you buy one. If you're dining in, you can have your pastries warmed up. I enjoyed their fresh mango shake which was thick and sweet. Their cold brew is made with coffee beans imported from Korea: strong and sweet, next time I'll have to ask them to cut back on the sugar. I couldn't convince the lone worker to add cream/milk to it *sigh*: not to accommodating. Tea drinks are made from powdered mixes, shakes are made from fresh fruit, and iced teas are flavored with syrup. I haven't found any baked goods that I like yet; but they do have decent drinks. This is a nice place to hang out, or get some work done.

Women need time to hang out with other women to just be ourselves: not worrying about our kids,…read morehusbands, work, dinner, finances, the dishes....My hubby knows this and even encourages me to get out of the house for some "me" time. Yeah, he's a keeper. I found this beautiful cafe during one of my morning walks. As soon as I stepped inside, I knew I have to arrange a luncheon here with my girlfriends. Glittering chandeliers, tufted couches, dainty chairs, and floral walls made my inner shutterbug jump for joy. We went after church service because we were already dolled up: pearls, high heels, painted nails, and wearing our Sunday best. This cafe is located on Fil-am Friendship Hwy, near Westfields International School; look for the big heart arch in front. The entire staff greet you as you enter; but before you start snapping away, you'll need to first place your order at the cashier (house rules). The menu is a toss up: not everything is good, so choose wisely. Our recommendations: mamon, spam silog breakfast, blueberry smoothie (made from pureed fruit) and their hazelnut cake. The prices range from low to high and their menu has Korean as well as Filipino dishes. After you order, stop by their display shelves and pick out a crown or head wreath, then make your way to their many gorgeous backgrounds. We even found a faux flower bouquet that we used as a prop for our pictures. FYI: there is a fee if you use a regular camera, but not with a cellphone camera. Our drinks came out pretty quick but the food was slow; it worked out well because we took our time posing for pictures and chit chatting. Staff are friendly and helpful; they'll gladly take pictures of you and your friends. They have a party room for big groups that's free of charge, just as long as everyone orders off of the menu; but you should reserve it in advance to ensure your time slot. They have free Wifi, an aircon and a bathroom. So, I'm giving Cafe Tiara a generous 4 stars as an IG haven for grown up women who need to let loose their inner princess.
