Bella after her spa

I drive passed this place so many times so finally had to check them out a few weeks ago with my puppy and she loved their stuff! Not only that wen we came in we were warmly greeted. Usually when I come into other pet stores I don't get greeted but this is a smaller chain so they are much more personable with their customers. What I liked was each section was so organized I could find what I needed for my puppy or ask for suggestions from their workers about what to buy her. Plus if you sign up with their store for like a pet perks, they give you 10% off your first purchase. I ended up getting my puppy a pumpkin ring which she loved since she's teething and some teething bones that were all natural with no-rawhide. She loved both items I purchased. The prices here may be steep but your pet will definitely love them.

Hilliard mutts & co f*cked up my dog's grooming today, but Mark (the owner) called me earlier. He was very gracious and worked with the Dublin location to make things right. The Dublin staff was VERY accommodating, pleasant, and helpful. The groomer did a fantastic job in the limited time she had...THANK YOU!!!

It's very clean and well organized. The front of the store is the retail section, the back housed the dog baths. They looked pretty busy getting all the pups ready for their Thanksgiving showcase. When I see clean and organized, unfortunately, my negative, realistic mind initially thinks overpriced. Not in this case. I purchased a chew toy filler that I have only been able to find at Pet People for a few cents less. I grabbed it up, looked around for some deals. Didn't find any. But that's okay, I got what I needed. It seems that the majority of business comes from the grooming...it was booming.

The interior facility looked nice, i would have gladly paid the additional cost for a big private area for them, but only general pupulstion was available. I was hesitant from the get go leaving my dogs here, the conditions looked like a puppy mill, but i was told that they have a vet onsite and that the conditions would be fine, lots of other dogs, etc, etc, etc.. well, with little other choice they were left. The staff is actually amazing. Everyone was helpful and nice, probably the best dog-sitters from a compassionate point of view. Unfortunately, much like multiple other reviews listed here, our dogs came home hurt, two had kennel cough, another had some form of bacterial infection and was on some form of medication for almost 3 months. I think the staff is wonderful to your pets, but the place must be filthy. I really wanted to like this place, as the staff was far better than the pet palace, but my dogs come back safe from pet palace and financially the pet palace is actually cheaper. Would have liked to have reviewed this with more stars, as they did help me out of a bind, but all said and done, i could have just taken them all with me. 1 extra star for the good kids working there.

Took my Yorkie to be groomed today at this new Dog Spa in Old Dublin. The location is really good,…read moreat the end unit of a commercial building (Tehku Tea is at opposite end) with plenty of parking. The owners/groomers were warm and welcoming to my pup, who immediately felt at ease and started exploring the new place (there was no other dog there at the time). I was asked how I wanted Pixel groomed, and what products I currently use on her. When I returned to pick her up, she was beautiful, silky, shiny, and happy. What else could I ask for?! I've already made her next appointment.

We brought our Coton for a grooming and told them please leave him long, just trim and clean him…read moreup. We figured a "luxury" dog spa with a three hour appointment would do a good and gentle job. When we picked him up his backside had been shaved almost to the skin. This area is now extremely irritated and on the verge of bleeding. The dog is rubbing and licking himself incessantly. We called and explained we were very unhappy. The groomer told us that there was nothing she could or would do, that she "had to" shave him because she said he was matted. He had just been brushed the night before and was not matted, but even if so, there was no reason to shave him to the skin and cause this level of irritation. Either take the time to de-mat (the appointment was three hours long) or inform the client that you could not. We did not authorize her to shave him like this. In the dogs 10 years of life, this has never happened once. When I asked why she would not refund the money, she said that well her regular clients know that sometimes the dog will come home with "an itchy butt." From her response, I have a feeling this is not the first time she has been confronted about this. She also suggested we call the vet and that if things got worse we might have to take him to the vet. We did call the vet and even with the Benadryl and Cortisone, he is still miserable. Here is a picture of the area. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to deal with a total unprofessional person who will not take responsibility for a terrible job. Feel free to make up your own opinion. Update 1: Second picture is third day post-grooming, the area is now getting worse and starting to scab. Unfortunately the vet is not open tomorrow to go get antibiotics. We spoke with one of our old groomers who said likely this was due to a dull or hot clipper and that in any case the groomer should not only provide a full refund but also pay for the vet visit. As described above, the groomer is taking ZERO responsibility, not refunding a single cent. Feel free to Youtube "clipper burn" to see what happens to a dog after this happens. Its not fun and the dog is miserable, aggressive, irritable, and requires constant monitoring so as to scoot on the floor to further inflame.

Designer Paws Salon DOES NOT listen to their customers…read more If there is any miscommunication, they DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY, and they will LIE to support their narrative. During the consultation with their groomer, I made these statements; "I like Higgins looking messy", "I do not want him looking proper", "I do not what any hair cut from his face area". Even after hearing these statements, they completely cut off his eyebrows!!! When asked why they cut off his eyebrows, they indicated that I said that I wanted to see his eyes, which is a complete LIE! I had indicated that it had been a couple months since his last haircut and the groomer reached down for a couple seconds and recommended "trimming his hair down". This meant to me that his hair would be trimmed down to 1/2 to 1" in length, so I agreed. As can be seen in the photo, they trimmed his hair completely down to the skin! When asked why they indicated that they said to me that he had to be shaved completely down ("naked") since it was only his second haircut in a year, which again is a complete LIE! See the attached photo with the email communications for details.
