I recently stopped shopping here. My vacation was disrupted for over an hour overlapping two days over the need to cancel / reschedule an appointment that was to occur over my vacation time... an appointment that I had canceled / rescheduled before leaving town but had not been fully addressed by Mutts & Co Grooming. I was told that even though I had grooming appointments booked for the remainder of the year that my July appointment could not be booked because I did not have a method of payment stored within their new online booking portal. Storing a form of payment on an online booking portal is not something I would ever do and did not appreciate the effort that Mutts & Co put into trying to convince me otherwise during my vacation. I was away for five days. I was interrupted during two days of my vacation over this matter. The unfortunate part of this story is that Savanah is amazing at grooming my fur babies; however, I will not place a method of payment within their online portal. I now need to make alternative arrangements for grooming which is not at all appreciated. Life is busy enough without arbitrary and unplanned side quests. Mutts & Co does offer a variety of healthy products for cats and dogs. They are good about assisting you to the car with large orders or even assisting with curbside pick up. However, all of the products that they carry can be gotten through online retailers. My only other complaint is that they continually store the shopping carts on one side of the store and shopping baskets on the other side of the store. Their shopping carts require the use of a shopping basket too as items fall through the shopping cart when used alone. Disabled persons have a hard time traveling to each side of the store to collect a shopping basket and shopping cart. I would point this out each time and would return to the same set up the next trip. read more

We visited Mutt and Co. to bathe our bigger dog. While there we talked to Renee about the allergies that our small dog has. She shared great information with us about the Zignature line of Kangaroo based foods. We are currently feeding a Kangaroo formula from another company which is extremely expensive. She also asked her coworker who was filling in from another location more details to help us learn about this option. They were both extremely helpful. Today, we returned to find a solution for an achy ear on our little guy. Geoff and Renee helped us so much! We will be regular customers! We are new to the Grove City area so we are glad to find some place to help us with our fur babies! Thank you Mutt and Co.! read more

We were charged a significant "late pickup fee", we were in fact on time and waited in the lobby for them to wait on other customers. The groomer came out and continued to berate my wife, all over 4 minutes past the pickup time... I cannot imagine being condescending and rude to a customer for 4 minutes. I normally don't write reviews, and lets be clear $10 isn't the end of the world or anything it's the way they treated my wife, there is enough stress and pressure in this world and this kind of behavior is not worth doing business with folks like mutts and co We were told a manager would call us the next day, it's just not worth meeting their energy level and desire to argue about this further. I chose to write this review to prevent others from going through this kind of treatment. Average dog trim at best, rude service, very narrow pickup time window. Always take my 40 pound golden doodle here for a DIY bath between groomings (by another groomer). It is well worth the $15 price tag. I love the raised sink (no bending over), sprayer that also applies the shampoo and conditioner, towels they supply, perfume sprays, high efficiency hair dryer, brushes! A thousand times better and more manageable than anything I could do at home. The staff is always friendly and helpful. read more

I drive passed this place so many times so finally had to check them out a few weeks ago with my puppy and she loved their stuff! Not only that wen we came in we were warmly greeted. Usually when I come into other pet stores I don't get greeted but this is a smaller chain so they are much more personable with their customers. What I liked was each section was so organized I could find what I needed for my puppy or ask for suggestions from their workers about what to buy her. Plus if you sign up with their store for like a pet perks, they give you 10% off your first purchase. I ended up getting my puppy a pumpkin ring which she loved since she's teething and some teething bones that were all natural with no-rawhide. She loved both items I purchased. The prices here may be steep but your pet will definitely love them. read more

Just received our fifth "day of cancellation" for their grooming services. Some with management the last time this happened and they comped a wash but Barely budged on the actual grooming after it was scheduled. Their scheduling is not reliable so if you book an appointment, be ready to have them cancel the day of the grooming and reschedule you a month later. Note: only one cancelation was due to COVID, which we gave them the benefit of the doubt for, but they even canceled the rescheduled date after canceling due to COVID. Go elsewhere, other locations are under the same management and have the same issue. read more

Overall my Dog looked ok but their was a lot of hair that was missed. All the legs where different lengths. She had random long hairs on her back and sides. I mentioned it to the girl at check out and she said that happens. read more

I've lived near in Old Sawmill for years and always heard great things about their grooming. I finally got my 2 little dogs in and WOW!!! It was like they were groomed with a machete! Sections randomly shaved, chucks cut out...it was the worst grooming they have ever had. $181...(my husband picked them up and just auto tipped 20%.) read more

They forgot to put my girl's collar back on her after grooming- I did not notice because she had her harness back when I picked her up. Inconvenient to go back, but also a significant mistake on their part. Negligent. All her ID on her collar. I have 2 labs Apollo (chocolate) and Victor (yellow English) and they love coming to Mutts&Co. I bring them for the self washes, I'm not a pro but they don't stink when I'm done and that's the goal! They have a great frequent wash plan as well, mine add up fast because it's 2 at time, I highly recommend it. It's very clean and well organized. The front of the store is the retail section, the back housed the dog baths. They looked pretty busy getting all the pups ready for their Thanksgiving showcase. When I see clean and organized, unfortunately, my negative, realistic mind initially thinks overpriced. Not in this case. I purchased a chew toy filler that I have only been able to find at Pet People for a few cents less. I grabbed it up, looked around for some deals. Didn't find any. But that's okay, I got what I needed. It seems that the majority of business comes from the grooming...it was booming. read more

I've been searching for a new cute and sturdy collar for my dog for quite some time now. I had been to other pet stores and hadn't seen anything that I liked. I did some online searching and came across a cute purple plaid on Mutts&Co's website. My mom and I decided to stop at this location while we were driving around to see if they had the collar in stock. I went in and unfortunately did not see it. I asked the (very polite and kind) woman at the register if she knew if they had it in stock at another store. She looked online and saw they only had one left in the entire company and that it was at the Westerville store. She offered to call the Westerville store to double check that it was in stock before we drove out there to pick it up - and a good thing, too! Turns out the one they had in stock was a different size. I ended up purchasing a different collar there and am quite happy with it. Not only did I have a good experience with Mutts&Co, but the same woman assisted my mom in finding a new brand of dog food because our dogs were not responding well to the food they were eating. The food she recommended was Vet Diet and they have been *extremely* happy with it! From the helpfulness to the clean space (and that awesome self-wash dog space!!), we were thoroughly impressed. This is our new pet store and we will be back! read more

Groomer that selected with was not the groomer I got. Terrible puppy cut! I have always had a simple puppy cut for my Yorkie and have used Mutt's and Co for their no crate policy for many years. I had to reschedule an appointment for a "redo" and was terribly disappointed. I will schedule with another store in the future and hope for a better outcome. I love the no crate policy, but the prices are too high to not get the service that I paid for. Again, not the normal for this location. read more

I have never tried the grooming, but I use the self service bathing station here. It is SO much easier that doing it at my house, breaking my back, and dealing with the mess afterwords. I believe it is $15 for the self serve, which I think is a little bit pricey and this is the only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. They run a few specials though, such as Service Dogs: Receive 50%, Multiple Dogs: $5 off each dog after the first when using the same tub, Adoptions (within 1 month) get their first self-serve wash free. They also have a punch card and some sort of rewards system if you go there often enough. The staff is really nice, the hours are GREAT... M-F 9a-9p, Sat 9a-7p, Sun 10a-6p. They sell tons of cute boutique-ish dog/cat toys, beds, collars, and pet treats and food. They also have a pet bakery! It is a little hard to find sine there are no signed in this area. You need to go back behind the Graffitti Burger by the Plato's closet. Keep looking, its back there! read more

We were so very pleased with the grooming of our Golden Doodle! She looked so pretty! The entire staff is friendly, I could tell they loved the animals. This is the first time our dog has been groomed where she didn't look ridiculous afterwards. I wish I would have found this place sooner, but very glad we found it now! read more

I've been coming here pretty much since I got my dog, after one very bad grooming experience at a chain store where they informed me they would charge me if he was "nippy" the next time. I'm not sure what transpired during that fateful grooming, but my dog is a Pekingese--hardly a vicious animal. So that warning didn't sit well with me. He's never had any trouble at Mutts. Everyone here is very friendly and they all recognize my dog and say hello to him by name when we come in. I've always had good experience with the groomers, who are very patient with him as I know he's a big whiner about bathing. They don't use cage dryers there, which is good but it also means you will have to pick your dog up within ~30 minutes after they call to let you know grooming is finished. Their self washing stations are clean and well-stocked. I'd certainly use them more if I had the money--you won't fully realize what a chore washing your dog in the tub is until you try these. For starters, no kneeling down for 20 or so minutes and holding your dog still while you try to scrub shampoo into their wiggling coat with one hand. Secondly, a dryer that works infinitely better than your hair dryer at home. Third, no mess to clean up. They also have a retail store where they sell dog and cat products, including food and treats. The food is a little on the pricey side, but it's all high quality stuff, so you won't have to stand around reading labels to confirm something contains actual meat instead of corn and meat by-product. I find them to be just a little pricier than the chains on these items, BUT they do have a loyalty program that will save you some money. The store hosts lots of events, like Halloween costume contests and Christmas parties. They are big supporters of various local rescues as well. A trip here is always a fun time for me and my little furball. read more

I have 2 goldens and they have a ton of hair! It is really convenient to take them here for the self wash, they have everything, shampoo, conditioner, brushes, smocks, tubs, blow dryers.. you name it. The best part about it is, you don't have to clean up. Blow drying my big boy (110 lbs) hair is flying everywhere! If I wash and blow dry them at my house takes a solid 1.5 hours, here for both 30 min! The prices are reasonable too. I think for both it was around 25 or 30. Not bad at all! read more

This store is awesome. They carry many products for your dogs from leashes to food and treats. All of the products are all natural and can run at a premium. Some things are worth the premium, some are not, so shop around. The best part, in my humble opinion, is the grooming services. First they have self service washing stations for you to wash your dog. For $15 you get access to a walk in tub and all the products you need to clean your pooch. This is a perfect set up for our Lab or any bigger dog. They also offer full service grooming. Your dog will be pampered with a hydro bath, hair trim, pedicure and even walk out with a bandana or bow. My two dogs who require frequent grooming love the spa day they get, and are very relaxed and calm when we pick them up. The only negative is getting an appointment must be done a few weeks in advance. They are usuly booked up weeks at a time. So, plan ahead. If you have a dirty dog take, him or her to Mutts and Co! read more

I brought my 9 week old puppy in and they showed me how to clip her nails, offered suggestions on chew toys, and gave me some training tips. The store itself is clean and bright. I just got home from Mutts & Co and I am definitely going back. We used the ultimate self service wash on our (very stinky) Australian Shepherd. Last night she was sprayed by a skunk and we immediately gave her the "Hydrogen Peroxide & Baking Soda" bath. This morning she still smelled pretty bad and I decided to take her in. My parents have always used Mutts & Co but I was always too stubborn to pay someone to bathe my dog myself. So stubborn that even 30+ weeks pregnant WITH TWINS I was still on my hands and knees in the bathroom scrubbing her down in the bathtub. We used a hydrogen hose to soak her down and with the flip of a switch, the hose releases your choice of shampoo (you have 4 choices). Your pup is on a table so there's no breaking your back to scrub your dog. Once the bath is over, they provide towels, brushes, and even a blow dryer! My pup HATES getting a bath and she absolutely despises getting blow dried. They have hooks on the wall to basically chain her up, which is cruel or whatever but she needs bathed and dried so what else can ya do?! Never again will I bathe my dog in my tub. Definitely worth the $15! read more

My cat really likes the kung fu kitty flicky toys but I haven't been able to find them in my local pet stores in Southern California. A quick google search led to mutts & co. I placed an order and all was well. When I received it, they made a small mistake in the toy type. One quick email and they sent a replacement with expedited shipping. Our first time here, and I'm definitely coming back! Imagine a 50 lb blue heeler that has to be dragged back by the groomer. He's facing the door, going butt first into the back, paws engaged in futile gripping of the floors as he's pulled away to his version of torture all while flashing you his look of puppy despair. Yep, that's my boy! At least this is how he's acted every time I've brought him to the groomer the past four years. I was happily surprised when I brought him to Mutts & Co that his groomer came and greeted him, and they happily pranced off together towards the grooming station like buds. I've never seen him do that. Ever. Now fast forward to the pick up, my boy usually busts out over the gate and tries to run through the glass doors like a fugitive on death row. This time, he pranced up to me, smiling, like, "what's up Mom? I was just chillin'" I'm a pretty over-protective pet parent. My dog was an adopted rescue who had obviously been badly abused in his past life. I take his comfort with pet care providers very seriously. That being said, I am very impressed with the full service grooming here. 1. The groomers are really great with the dogs (I can't stop raving about this!) 2. The holding area for the dogs that are ready are little open-topped fenced in spaces, no cages that I could see. 3. $55 for the MiniSpa + nail trimming + tooth brushing for my very very furry boy (would be $65 for full service - ie. full shave down) 4. Customer loyalty program - they use your email to keep track of your $ spent, for every $200 you spend you get $6 back 5. Fast! He was done in an hour 6. Cute bandana 7. They don't go overboard with the doggie cologne - the pup came home fluffy like a bear and smelled of clean soap 8. Very cute toys and dog accessories Some tips: they book out pretty far, so you have to call to set your appointment. Also they have a policy where they call you 30 minutes before your dog is ready, and you're expected to pick him up within 15 minutes of your dog being done (otherwise they charge you a fee). i won't take my mutts anywhere else. i take my two labradoodles here for grooming (one of them has VERY curly and unruly fur), and i'm a huge fan of their services. i have also used their self-service dog washing station. seriously, that was a blast! and so much easier than washing the doods at home. as the first reviewer said the store is very clean and well organized. their prices are good for the services they provide. they do a really nice job on my dogs. SO much better than the services you will receive at the pet superstores, and i get a feeling that my dogs are treated much better too. in addition, they offer a "buy six and get one free" on the self-service dog washing. this is a nice promotion, and it encourages me to come back. finally, they book appointment much like people's haircut appointments: you have a block of time, usually between 2 - 3 hours depending on the dog, and they're done. no need to bring the dogs in for the entire day. that's a good system, in my opinion. my one minor complaint (which is keeping me from giving this fine establishment 5 stars) is that i've had difficultly scheduling services with the front desk. i'm not sure if the person is not knowledgeable, or unempowered -- or what. however, it's always a struggle to find days where i can bring in the dogs. i get the feeling that they service a more flexible customer who can come in during the day rather than those of us who work all day. (which is a gripe of mine about greater columbus in general.) read more

I am definitely coming back. My dog (a boxer/lab mix about 75lb) was ready in about 30 minutes including grooming , nails trimmed, ears cleaned and teeth brushed. He came out looking like a stud with a bandana. Prices are reasonable yet competitive and everyone there was nice and welcoming. I highly recommend them if you are in the Dublin area. I wish I could bring my cat in for grooming here, but they don't do cats... well the name says it all. read more

I recently took my dog her based on the great reviews but was definitely let down. I'm definitely okay with paying more to get my pet groomed however the amount they charged and how she looked didn't match. They cut her ears extremely uneven and left a bunch of long pieces under her chin that I had to cut myself. It's like patchwork on her undercoat and not an even groom by any means. I expected way more out of them especially based on prices they are charging. On a better note the staff is very friendly and the store is great to purchase toys, food and treats. read more

Mutts & Co is one of my favorite specialty pet stores. They carry a wide assortment of fun stuff for both big and small dogs. Most notably is a large selection of heavy duty toys, which are durable and long-lasting. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive and patient with skittish pets. The walk-up tubs are secure and easy to use, with a variety of products to address the needs of the dog. We are frequent customers and recommend it to all of the other dog parents that we know! read more

I've been going to Mutt's since they opened. The groomers there are the BEST around. They really show that they care and always take their time with my dogs. I also use their Hydrosurge Self Service Baths and they are AWESOME...it so much easier than trying to wash the dogs at home.
