This location offers supervised puppy day car for 4 hours one day a week. I was feeling ill so I needed a little nap. I called ahead of time asking what age puppies would be there as my puppy was only 3 months old. I was told 3 other puppies ages 4-5 months old. I felt ok with that so bright her in. When I picked her up I asked how she did and the staff worker told me she was being picked on. Knowing i was nervous about I (by calling ahead of time) maybe they should have called me. Anyway fast forward 2 days and we were at the vet getting her wound taken care of. She was hurt while in their care. She was put on 3 different medications and had her fur shaved. I realize it was my choice to bring her but I also expected them to take care of her. They have decided not to refund any of the vet visit. I am not asking for them to cover 100% of it but at least half. There is no way that my puppy did this to herself given the location on her back. We will not be back, to either location.

I wag goodbye to mom and I pee all over the floor just to let everybody know that I'm here to party! I collect my morning snuggles from whoever is in the front, then I move onto my amazing slide where I perch myself at the top and play Rapunzel all afternoon, sometimes I sleep in the bottom of the slide and I play troll. Sometimes I just look super cute so the humans have to send pictures to my mom to tell her just how good and cute I am. If I play too rough, the humans always know to give me a little time out and space. I get to do enrichment time, where I play puzzles, get treats, go up and down the teeter totter and have a super fun time learning! On Fridays, I see Dustin for my weekly spa appointment, so I smell delicious for the weekend. He cleans all my furs and clips my nails and makes me beautiful. Sometimes when my mom and dad go out of town, I get to have a sleepover at City Paws. They always email my mom to tell her how I'm doing, my mom even spies on me while I sleep in my room! Last time I spent the night I got a pupcicle AND a unicorn toy to show my family when I got home. Ten out of ten woofs.

However after a while Anna (the owner) started to lack the support and empathy that I needed. I have a disability and underlying health problems. I let Anna know from the beginning of my employment of my health problems and she was completely accepting. As months went on she became harder to work for. She pushed too hard to make me go into a clients house that had Covid knowing about my underlying health problem. I had been a very hardworking employee, even going so far as to cover for other employees, working outside my territory, and cat sitting (when that wasn't in my job description). I was so disappointed in Anna that I felt the need to quit for my own health. I feel as though Anna thinks you need to dedicate your life to a part-time job, with no benefits, and not enough pay for the amount of driving you do. To the clients out there, the walkers might be amazing but they are doing their job under extreme pressure from the owner. To new applicants, think hard before applying to this job.
