Now it is September, and the job is still not completed. Since July, I have received multiple promises and excuses about when the work would be finished. The pavement that was completed also has multiple areas where water is holding on the pavement instead of draining properly. Most recently, Vincent told me that he is no longer in North Carolina doing work, that he is in New Jersey, and that he is not going to return to finish my job. I paid this company in full and relied on Vincent's promises that the work would be completed. Unfortunately, he has not followed through. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that anyone considering hiring ABC Paving LLC or Vincent Lucas carefully check references, get everything in writing, and avoid paying the full amount until the work has been properly completed and inspected.

My contention isn't that you can't do the job, but that I wasn't given the courtesy to tell me that you weren't interested in providing the estimate nor would be able to do the job. If I hadn't called or inquired, I would never have gotten an answer at all. How could I give you a higher rating? You only came to look at the project. I can't grade you on quality, service or promptness because I have no reference point to go by. My review isn't harsh but simply stated as it happened.
