The check engine light had come on, so I went in on a Friday morning to the shop. I was greeted by Hayden who came out and tested the car. In 10 minutes he knew what was going on, told me it wasn't super urgent, and advised me to bring the car sometime where I could leave it overnight for them to test out a few things. Took the car to the shop the following Friday and left it overnight. The AC/PS belts were giving some noise, so I asked him to fix the tension or replace them altogether. The following morning Hayden calls me saying they fixed the check engine light by heating up the CAT, but didn't replace any of the oxygen sensors since both seemed to work fine. They also replaced the belts since one of them was broken. They only charged me for the belts replacement, and told me to bring the car back if the check engine light comes on again. So far it's been a week of driving, and it hasn't come back on again ... so staying hopeful :-) Oh, forgot to mention that I was told on the phone that the brakes needed replacing of pads and rotors. I asked them to do it later, since I knew it would cost me a bit. Upon picking up the car I noticed the rear brake was still adjusted, although they never charged me for it. Overall the pricing was fair, communication was clear, and these guys know what they're doing. They only charged me for things they did, although they thoroughly went through the car to ensure my ride was safe. Thanks a lot Tareef & Hayden!

Once upon a time my beloved Honda (Hannah) was broken into via the smashing of my passenger side…read morewindow. I was a couple days away from leaving Sac to head back to Seattle for school, so I quickly found an affordable repair shop (enter Tec Auto Glass), got a new window, and was on my way. Soon after my arrival in Seattle, I noticed that the window was not rolling up all the way and I could hear the breeze while driving. Of course this would happen once I was 700ish miles away and unable to go back to the shop and complain! I called the shop and explained the situation and they told me they would take a look at it again within their 90 day warranty period. I tried to explain that I was now out of state and wouldn't be back in town within that timeframe to have it looked at, and I basically got a "sucks for you" sort of response and attitude. My, my, Tec Auto Glass, what terrible customer service you have! I understand that my situation was a little weird, but hello, you could have at least tried to help me. Now I'm stuck finding a more reputable window place to replace my entire window because apparently you gave me one that doesn't fit my car properly! Thanks for nothing. Will definitely not be back and will proceed to tell others about my adverse experience here.

This is probably the worst experience I've ever had coming to a car detailer. it's a shame too…read morebecause I used to work across the street and people would swear by this detailing shop "yeah they're the best you should definitely take your car there you can leave it there for the whole day. " The only thing true about that statement was the fact that you can leave it there the whole day. I paid for the full interior package. I found this deal on Groupon and honestly all I want is my money back. The reason why I needed my car detailed was the fact that I had spilled coffee all over the floor so I figured why not treat the car like it's a special as me, get it a spa day. So the full interior package comes with: shampooing the car seats and the carpet, washing the windows inside and out, cleaning the tires and the wheels (wheels I'm assuming they mean rims), vacuuming and the leather and vinyl would be cleaned and dressed. First off the number that Groupon gives you is the guy's personal cell phone, he sent me to voicemail every time I tried to contact him, you can only reach him by text message. The hours say open from 9 to 8 p.m. but I called at 9 and he wasn't available to even be talk to until 10.....okay that's fine sounds like this guy owns his own business so his hours are variable just like my tattoo guy.... We'll let that fly. okay so now it's 11:00 am and I get to the detailing shop. nowhere on the building does it say HF waterless car wash it actually says sac car wash.....Okay that's fine kind of hard to find your business I get it.... first thing the guy asks when we get there he sees the car he says "do you want us to do the wheels?" (me buying a detailing package on Groupon, not even really going over what's included because I'm so excited that I found a deal I didn't realize that the tires and the wheels were included so I deny having that done because it's going to be an "extra charge") . So I have to drop my car off and leave it overnight because I work beyond the hours of operation for this business. I parked my car, and I'm anticipating that my car will be in pristine condition the following day. LET ..ME..TELL..YOU! Okay so now it's 11am the following day and guess what they're still cleaning it. I go inside and they told me it's going to be $30 on top of what I paid because they found mold in my car. I asked where the mold is and the front office lady distinctly points out that it was ONLY in the back passenger side of the carpet. I say okay pay the $30 and get to my car. I get to my car there was a guy still vacuuming the car in the back in the trunk and "he says hey is this your subwoofer? Yeah I fixed it up so now your beats should be slappin". I looked at him and im amazed like I guess thank you for taking the liberty to fix my speaker? I'd like to point out that he had the vacuum in his hand while he was in the trunk fixing the carpet he says. But the carpet in his hand is not even f****** vacuumed. inside of the car has leaves like they stepped outside and walk back in after they've cleaned the carpet. The drop-top was put down and so he's cleaning out water from that area. Why he needs to drop the top I don't understand. now the leather and vinyl was all polished and new looked great but then you lift the seat covers which is the leather and the seats weren't even vacuumed or not shampooed like advertised. The floor still has stains (I'm sorry but I thought it was a detailing shop). the windows had not been wiped down actually I had a window in the back that was falling it never really completely closed so the guy that took the liberty to fix my subwoofer took the liberty to fix the window.....do you want to know how? He shoved f****** pliers in the window to hold the window up PLIERS.... IS IT ME OR IS THAT VEHICULAR VANDALISM? I go to the exterior of the car the front end where the hood is and the lights have white film all over them and the light bulb is completely out of its light bulb socket. The guy in the back was so HIGH (blatantly so) that he didn't realize what package I got. I go to look inside the car and guess what there's still stains on the floor and when I asked why there was still staying on the floor the front office lady that was outside with us said oh that's where the mold was it was actually in the front AND the back. I'm just beyond upset you don't even know I paid for a package and I only got half of the quality that was promised I was offered the opportunity to pay more money for something that was included in the package. The customer service was ridiculous. I'm trying to get my car back the next day and it's still not ready? Hopefully none of you guys are duped by this because I searched thoroughly to find the car detailer place despite having knowledge of another place that I have been to before and was immaculate. this was a waste of my money waste of my time. My property was also damaged and stolen.

He asked for me to send some pictures and he educated me on the spots I had we're water spots. Me not knowing much about exterior of my car I asked if can get a car wash to remove them. He went to further detail about it need more than just was wash. He cane out on Monday morning 11:30 he was running late bout gave me a window of 11-11:30am. He explained to me that it needed a chemical bath and polish. Gave me price and I called a few places to get prices while he waited for me to decided to do the job. He beat the prices that were given to me from 3other places. So I was very impressed with the job took about 4hours but well worth it! My car looks brand new! So nice and shiny. He recommended to me not to park by the nasty water sprinklers. I signed up for his monthly services of basic car wash and vacuum and he comes out to me once week. I just love how my ca looks!
