We got paired up with Dan Sabatino, who is a phenomenal musician and composer in his own right and a fantastic teacher. He's patient with my son, who has ADHD. At the same time, Dan knows how to push and challenge him to do his best work. He changes up the classes a little bit every week--by bringing in new instruments, or having a jam session, or working on a classical piece then a modern rock track. My 7 year old has been attending here since the end of June 2025. She encountered 3 instructors her first month, due to schedule changes, all of which were very good because I was able to sit in for the first month to see how my daughter was taking the lessons. Based on tuning our scheduling, she has been with Reese the past 3 months. She is wonderful and has the perfect technique for drawing in my daughters attention. I called for my son to take music classes here. The woman that answered stated there was a slot available on Sundays since we're only available on the weekends. I completed all paperwork with regional center which is a lot in order to get approved and it takes time. Finally he gets approved I called back same woman answered and said the slot is no longer available. She said she forgot to add my son in the schedule. I told her I will think about it since my son is not available on Fridays her new recommendation with a new teacher no the original ABA teacher. I got paperwork from the regional center over the weekend and I said let me give them a second chance. I call Gared answers and stated he's in a meeting and doesn't even let me speak. He said someone will return my call. Hours later I call once again and once again Gared answers and rushed me off the phone stating someone will call me back. Gatred once again doesn't let me speak, I try to explain what happened last time to make sure it doesn't happen again. Obviously Gared doesn't care and is rude rushing me off the phone. I told him ok I guess I will have to wait and trust you guys don't make a mistake again. After I got off the phone I thought hmm he has no customer service or social skills why would I want my son to go to this place with people like this. I will definitely not be taking my son here. They act like they offer free programs when they get paid by regional center and parents. read more

For the past year I've been fortunate enough to take lessons at The Music Junction in Burbank. I've had the pleasure of working with Mariel, one of the most talented piano & vocal instructors they have to offer. Every week she brings the most out of me while always encouraging me to strive further in my lessons. My entire life I've always wanted to learn the piano. Last year I finally decided to push my fears and insecurities aside and give it a shot. The Music Junction was incredibly welcoming and encouraging and really motivated me to keep going. I even performed in the Winter Recital despite being terribly nervous. They did an incredible job reiterating the point that it was a learning experience and to be celebrated, not feared. I look forward to my lessons with Mariel every week and I would advise anyone who wants to finally take the leap to learn or improve their skills to join The Music Junction. This week Charissa of The Music Junction started hosting virtual singing warm ups everyday at 11am on zoom. I've always been interested in singing but haven't done anything outside of school choirs. I was looking for a music class for my 8yr, she doesn't know first what to play, she just want to play music. First we try with the summer camp and she discovered that piano was her thing. So I enrolled in private classes and she loves it. The teachers are really kinda a great, BethAnn, Bob and Morelia great persons always trying to help and let us have a good experience. We went to Front location (inside Hollywood piano) and a few classes in the original locations and both are comfy. I also like that kids have presentations but in a way that they don't have to feel like a competition that manages the show like a fun demonstration of what they have learned. Love it! read more

I never learned to sing so when I decided to overcome the fear of singing, I was very nervous. Just to put this in context: I do not even sing in the shower and even avoid singing Happy Birthday at parties because I just have no idea how to do it. So when I first signed up to take a class with Melissa Nadel, I was feeling unsure and embarrassed. After the first lesson, I was able to see that singing was a skill and like anything in life, if I put some practice into it, I could get better. Well, 1 month into the process and my wife has noticed a HUGE improvement. Melissa was very encouraging and helpful, especially given how uncomfortable singing was to me. Now I can practice on my own. I have the tools to help me learn to sing and the support to keep the learning experience fun. From singing at church and even singing in the car, I am have found a new joy. Everyone can learn to sing and it is not impossible to learn. I am glad that I found the Music Junction and very happy with my professional singing coach, Melissa. I will keep on taking lessons and look forward to getting better at singing. It feels great to take on a new skill a bit later in life and it feels even better knowing that I do not have to fear singing any longer! read more

If Yen Lin were around when I was learning to play piano as a kid, I might have been somewhat of a virtuoso by now! I am a product of a long line of [unsuccessful] piano teachers and, needless to say, I can't play a lick if my life depended on it. Fast forward 30 something years later and my 6 year old has already surpassed me on the piano! My son has been taking lessons with Yen Lin for 4 months now and just played a perfect piece in his very first piano recital! At first, I was nervous about how my wiggly, energetic then 5 year old would take to learning the piano, but after the first day with Yen Lin he was hooked and absolutely loves it! Yen Lin has a wonderful, positive and bubbly personality and knows how to connect and engage well with people, especially kids! She knows how to meet my son where he is at (even when he's tired and not in the mood) and how to keep him interested during the lessons. My son is often easily distracted, but Yen Lin manages to teach him new skills and songs each week. I was amazed at how much my son has learned in as little as 4 months and at how inspired he is to practice piano on his own. I can't say enough about how amazing Yen Lin is. We have been with The Music Junction for a few years now, and I am thrilled with my children's progress. We currently have Ms. Kim as our teacher and she is great! My kids are motivated to practice everyday, and sometimes just need to touch the piano as they are walking through the room - to me that is the sign of a great teacher. She has gotten my kids (especially my 6 year old boy who most times cannot sit still for long periods of time) to sit,, read and understand this new language of music. Ms. Kim knows how to communicate with the kids well and makes sure they are understanding the material before moving forward.
