Such a shifty company broke and damaged multiple things and didn't even finish the job. DONT USE THEM

I wanted to post an honest review and I do not want anyone else to fall VICTIM to these sleazy scam artists. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE MUSCLE MEN MOVERS, THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. I would leave less than a 1 star review but, its not allowed. I sold my home and needed to find a moving company. I found Muscle Men Movers and spoke to Parker who assured me he could move my 3800 square ft home absolutely no problem they did this work all day every day. I scheduled 4 weeks in advance of the move. I contacted them on the Monday before the move to confirm we were booked for 2 days, he said he only had me booked for 1 day. I remineded him he had confirmed with me the 2 days. I should have known in that moment things would not go well. He said he would do 1/2 day on day then move the rest on the next full day. They randomly showed up on my door no call no text the day before the first 1/2 day move. Luckily, I had everything ready so I told them go ahead. They charged $150 per hour the going rate. So they moved 1/3 of my stuff on that day to my storage unit. Upon telling me they were complete and me paying via PayPal by the way (again sketchy?) I received a call saying their truck was broken and could i give them a ride. I was 20 minutes away but I did so anyway. They were supposed to show up on Saturday morning, didn't tell me a time, but at 8:45ish I received a call telling me their truck was still broken and they woudldn't be coming... i said I would rent a Uhaul and he could send the actual movers he said no they needed to be together to fix the truck but was ASURED!!!! they would be there the next day. I've sold my home by the way and must be out. Well next day rolls around and you guessed it they didn't show up so I called Parker and he told me oh he is on the way and would be there in 5-10 minutes.. of course he didn't show up. That sleeze bucket lied to my face the other day and on the phone. What is worse he blocked me from finding a different mover because he flat out lied. So after he didn't show up I called and called and called he started sending calls to voice mail then he blocked his voicemail from receiving messages. This company and Parker (if that is his real name) is complete axx. The PayPal goes to Robert Balfour out of Tooele, UT so by all means DO NOT USE MUSCLE MEN MOVERS. They are the worst thing that can happen to the moving industry such sleeze bags. I hope this review helps. I will recommend ALL MY SONS MOVING , they swoooped in and saved the day. Absolutely do not use this company. Two movers showed up, on-time just before 2pm, and situated the pickup & trailer for moving out of our 2 bedroom apartment. Within the first 90 minutes, they had only moved 10-15 boxes into the trailer. I wondered where they were but assumed they were organizing the trailer. In that time, the closest elevator had stopped working. When one mover finally got back to the apartment he stated he had been waiting 20 minutes for the elevator talking to the UPS driver. I never received a phone call nor did he consider taking the one flight of stairs. This was a significant waste of time and money. To allow for easier access to the other elevator, they moved the trailer to the other side of the building. At this point we were more than 2 hours into the move still with only 10-15 boxes loaded. I started running boxes with one mover, while my pregnant wife stacked and moved boxes to the front door to speed up the process. The other mover stayed downstairs, loading and situating items into the trailer. After about 4 hours, we ran out of space in the trailer with only 75% of our items loaded. We left the remaining items in the apartment and drove 30 minutes to our house in South Jordan. Due to the 4 hour load time, we asked the movers to unload the boxes into the garage and move large furniture items inside. As they unloaded boxes into the garage, I noticed boxes were stacked upside down and sideways, furniture items were not wrapped, and moving blankets were used sparingly. It looked like the mover loading the boxes was using his knee to situate everything and upon unloading we found several dented or cracked items. Our mattress and couch were loaded on top of blankets, but were unloaded with black handprints, filthy corners, and stains. My wife has used Folex to get most of the stains out, but not everything was lifted out of the fabric. We then noticed a caster in the bottom of the trailer that had broken off of our toy chest. Shortly after, they unloaded our computer desk and destroyed it. Instead of putting their hands on the top and bottom, they each had bearhugged a side, which U'd the desk and pieces started falling apart in the alley. That was our final straw. We kindly asked that the remaining items be left in the garage and we would figure out how to move things inside as needed to avoid any more damages. When it was time for payment, I brought up the elevator incident and the main mover, who ran boxes with me, said he couldn't deduct anything since the broken elevator was out of their control. No other deductions were taken for broken and damaged items. With 25% of our items still at our aparment, our movers suggested we rent a moving truck ourselves to finish the job. As our move was late Saturday afternoon, Uhaul and Budget were not open Sunday, but thankfully Penske had a truck available that we rented for $300. We've only lived in Utah for 3 months and have few friends and no family to assist, but we were lucky to find a couple to help us finish the job. Over the years, my wife and I have had several experiences with moving companies and this was by far the poorest experience we have ever had. My suggestion to you for future moves is to call the customer and take inventory of each room in order to better assess the number of movers needed and size of trailer. We requested quotes from five other moving companies, and Muscle Men was the only company not to do this. Against better judgement, we opted to move with Muscle Men based on a recommendation from a neighbor born and raised here. Three movers and a larger trailer/moving truck were definitely needed to complete this job correctly. read more

The guys worked really hard. However, I am extremely angry that they broke my very expensive elliptical that will cost more than $3000 to replace. What ticked me off more than anything is that the rigged it to appear as if nothing was wrong and were dishonest by not disclosing the damage to me immediately. Additionally, they showed up without the necessary supplies to move furniture... no dolly, basic tools, etc. I am calling to speak with the owner today. I even tipped them $20 each for their help. If I could, I would give them less. We had agreed to meet at my storage unit sometime between 2-4 to load the truck. I finally called at 3:30 only to be told that there was no ETA and no idea if it would be within our agreed upon time frame. When I finally heard back it was almost 5pm and they could only do the job late at night or early the next morning. This low review is due to the terrible communication and coordination. Do not use this company. We signed up with the owners brother but then he cancelled last minute and set us up with his brother who charged us double than what was originally quoted. I hired Muscle Man Movers to move my Liberty Safe from my old home to my new home. They damaged my stairs at my old home and then when they got to my new home they put deep scratches on my wood floor (71 inches of deep scratches!) and damaged my safe (There are 20 + large deep dents and scratches on the safe.) The safe looks like someone took a hammer to it and beat it up! I have attempted to contact Muscle Man Movers several times to follow up and they continue to push me off and not file a claim. We hired this company to help us load one of those new fangled moving pods all the kids are talking about. They showed up and estimated $250 to load everything. Sounded like a great deal, little did I know. They told us they needed rope that we need to provide. So headed to the hardware store, picked up rope and returned. The boxes were all loaded in first, loosely, thus reducing the pods large footprint. Now -- none of the furniture fits. Instead of fixing the problem, they made it my problem and bailed. So, seriously, save your money and move it yourself or call a more reputable company that doesn't have a broken moral compass. We're now repacking everything ourselves and we're out the money. These people have no qualms about taking advantage of senior citizens. This company is all muscle and no brains. read more

I hired them in October 2021 to move us from Syracuse Utah to Sierra Vista Az. His price was 1,200.00 cheaper than the closest company. We had the owner come out to make sure everything would fit in his truck based upon the bid. They showed up on time and started loading. They told us they were driving straight through which surprised me because it's 900 miles. We had moved everything that was small and in boxes to the garage. I wish there was a lower rating than one star, but it don't exist. They were very nice people and started out as professional. Then all hell broke loose. We went to our new house and waited and they didn't show. So we rented a hotel for two days, because they called us and said they had broke down in Las Vegas. They didn't have a big enough truck so the rented two truck. They got here three days after there promised date. Out curio was in such bad shape we gave it away. I had just bought a 2,500 bedroom set and it was so tore up I sold it for 500.00. I'm a General Contractor and I shipped tools. The stuff I'm missing I figure is worth about 5,000. So I truly lost my ass to try to save money. Don't make the mistake they don't even won that many trucks and rely on rentals to make there business work. read more

Before you hire this company, run the other way! I have never written a negative review in my life, but the truth needs to be known to prevent others from being taken advantage of. We asked Muscle Men Movers to move 7 pieces of furniture from across the street at our neighbor's home to our home. They said they could do this in 2 hours (THEIR minimum). They called us the day before our scheduled time and asked us to change our time to from 1 pm to 10 am. As we were out of town due to our car breaking down on the highway, this required a LOT of rearranging for our family to be there for us, but they did it and we accommodated Muscle Men Moving. We specified to the agent and our son that the bedroom furniture was to be moved to the upstairs prepared master bedroom with no furniture in it - as they saw when they moved the 2 box springs up there. She verified that this could all be done within 2 hours. On the morning of the move, they called and told us no one was there at our house. They had gone to the wrong house and sat and waited. We called our neighbor to find out if they were, in fact, at our house waiting. Our neighbor saw them a half a block down the street and got them to come to his house to get the furniture to be moved, so by this time they were 15 minutes late. Our grandson was there and signed the contract, but they called and told us that he left. He did not. Our son came so our grandson and sent our grandson back to work. He said they were in the neighbors house most of the time. At the 2 hour mark, they were ready to leave, BUT most of the heavy bedroom furniture that we hired them specifically to move, was STILL at the neighbor's house. The lighter, easier stuff to move was already moved over (that took about 20 minutes to move). Our son said they could NOT leave it there as our neighbor's were closing on their house tomorrow and the furniture had to be out. So, they said they would put it all in the garage as they is all they had time for now. They stayed a half hour and moved it into our GARAGE instead of the upstairs master bedroom. We were shocked to come home to find the garage full of our bedroom furniture. The beautiful dresser was laying on its side on the CONCRETE, and damaged. One nightstand was stacked on top of the other. The furniture blocked the refrigerator that held our tentants' childrens' lunches. They charged us for the extra half hour. When we requested help to fix this mess from the agent, who talked to the owners, we were told that we could pay ANOTHER $260 to have it moved upstairs to where it was supposed to be moved in the first place. Really? That was their solution to make this right? - hire and pay them AGAIN to do what we originally hired them to do! RIDICULOUS. She said the owners said that their guy ("their best mover") was telling the truth and no one ever told them where to put it. NOT TRUE! Our son and grandson and both told them where to put it. If that was true, why did they know to move the mattresses up to the master bedroom? When we first talked to the agent, we emphasized that we needed the heavy furniture moved and if they ran out of time, leave the light stuff as we could move that. That this the whole reason we needed to hire help to move it. They did the opposite. We had to make extra arrangements to move it as we would not use Muscle Men Movers EVER AGAIN. Do yourself a favor and hire a reputable company that stands behind what they say they will do. read more

I really wish I could give no stars. I know people always say that, but in this case it could not be more true. I contacted this "moving company" to help get a fridge from a warehouse facility to a medical clinic I work for. They showed up the first time so incredibly late and we had to apologize to the warehouse manager who opened the doors on his day off just for this move. Not only were they late, they left! The man who showed up said he was not made aware of the size of the fridge and we would not be able to complete the job. While I was on the phone with his dispatch coordinator he just up and left. I was shocked, but really needed the fridge moved so I called to get a new crew out on a different day. I scheduled the day and let them know the exact time we would need them there since this warehouse was opening just for us to move the fridge out. The day came and I was told that the crew needed to change the time because of "truck problems". I wasn't given an exact time or even a window. I tried to stay in context with the dispatch coordinator throughout the day to get updates but that proved difficult as well. Finally at 3:00pm she let me know the crew was halfway done with their MORNING job. I let her know I needed to speak to the owner right away because this was absolutely unacceptable. She didn't respond for a while and so finally I texted her to cancel the appointment. She responded right away (something she couldn't or wouldn't do before) and let me know about the $100 cancelation fee they would be charging. I texted back and let her know we would absolutely not be paying that since her men walked off the job in the first place! I have never been more off put by a so called "business" before. Let me start off by saying the actual guys who worked their butts off all day were great. Really nice and worked really hard. I give them 5 stars. However, the owner of this company is 1 star. My dad, who was kind enough to even hire a company to help us with our move specifically requested their biggest truck so that the move would only take one load and save on time which would save him money. The owner said we would have that truck. Well, when the movers showed up, they had a smaller truck b/c the owner was out of town and did not leave the keys to the bigger truck. The movers went over a contract with us that they had us sign which stated: if they (muscle men movers) moved anything and it ended up damaged then they would cover the cost but if we (my husband and I) moved it and it got damaged, we were responsible for coat. Seemed fair to me. Now, I totally understand little scratches and dents happen. The movers had to go up stairs with our stuff and some gashes in our walls happened but I really wasn't mad cause it's just how moving goes. Awkward furniture up stairs is super crazy hard. So, with that being said, there was only one piece of furniture that I did not see until a couple days later b/c I have been un packing one room at a time. The dresser was so gashed and scratched that it's ruined. Again, I was not mad. I totally understand how that happens. The next thing that happened though did make me mad b/c they said in their contract that they would cover the damages. I took a picture and sent it to the company and what they said was that we were lying about the damage and if we wanted to take it in front of a judge and let the judge decide who was responsible for the cost we could.....Really?! I'm not going to take them to court over an $80 piece of furniture but they made a promise and it's the principle. I would never do business with them again and I would never recommend them to anyone which is a shame since the actual employees seem to be good guys who work for a really dishonest boss who better be careful before someone actually does take them to court. What's even funnier is if you read how this company got started, it was b/c the owner he used to work for charged "hidden fees". Well! You don't need to worry about that but instead you can worry about a contract you signed that won't be honored. If you do decide to use this company, make sure to take pictures of every single piece of furniture they touch in case something gets damaged. read more

My husband and I were moving 6.5 miles down the road to a new house and decided to hire a moving company to help us because my husband is a disabled vet with spine and ankle injuries. He called around to get quotes. We packed all the boxes ourselves and moved them to the garage. We moved most of the furniture to the front room of the house, except the washer and dryer. Most quotes came in around 400-600 since we just needed stuff transported and moved into the new place. No disassembly, assembly or packing needed. Muscle Men Movers said they would send 2 men out with a truck for 110 per hour and it should take between 3 - 4 hours to complete the job. The quote was based on us having 50-100 boxes, washer, dryer, 2 queen mattresses, 1 full and 1 queen box spring, plus furniture. They even brought an extra new guy along and we were happy, thinking we would be able to get it all done within 4 hours. The guys were all nice. There was the #1 guy in charge, and the #2 guy that brought items to the truck for guy 1 to fit in. Guy #3 seemed younger and newer. They were all nice with good attitudes. The problem began when guys 2&3 waited for guy 1 to instruct on what was needed next. It took a long time. Piece by piece the truck was getting loaded. The truck was just over 1/2 full with items, boxes and the mattresses, but no furniture and we were nearing the 3 hour mark. The guys followed me to the new place in the truck but didn't drive faster than 35 -40 mph in a 65 mph zone. I helped carry some of the boxes upstairs because the clock was ticking. Then guy 1 said we would separate the boxes in the garage to go in the rooms they belonged. Once all the piles were done, he and guy2 left and went back to the house and guy 3 and I moved the boxes upstairs. Wasn't thrilled with this but again, this whole ordeal is going over the time limit. Now we are paying hundreds of dollars and doing a lot of the work. At this point we are paying more than any quote from any company we have spoken to and our furniture hasn't even been brought over. It's all in their truck so its not like we could cut the time short. Now we're over the 700.00 mark by the time the furniture arrives so my husband lets them know that we just can't afford this anymore. They very quickly unload the truck into our garage. Guy 1 brings me a tablet, explains my husband said times up and I need to sign to agree to payment. I sign, and he says, "sign one more here..." and I do ( without reading it, like an idiot). I'm tired at this point. My husband arrives at the new place at this time, so I tell him to pay them. The price was between 700- 800 so my husband pays 800 so the guys would have tips because we're fairly nice people that give tips. Needless to say, we were upset that we chose this company and the price was double for an incomplete job. My husband emailed the owner asking for a partial refund since all the stuff was just left in the garage and he said no, that was at our request and it was our fault we allowed his workers to continue past the amount of time discussed. My husband emailed again with the request, and the owner sends him an image saying I rated them a 10 in satisfaction with this move. I said, no, I didn't ever take a survey so my husband shows me his phone and says" that's your signature right there and you circled a 10. WHAT? So guy 1 had me sign the 2nd time after HE circled a 10 on some survey. It's probably legal, but seriously morally wrong and the owner seems just fine with this. He's fine that his company charged over 700.00 for an incomplete job that leaves a disabled vet to do what he hired Muscle Men Movers to do. My husband also had issue with the guys checking out a neighbor girl as she checked the mail. She's 14. I found my vacuum upstairs had been broken and the broken piece hidden in a plastic bag. I don't care if the vacuum was accidentally broken but hiding it was not ok. Accidents happen, no big deal, but hiding it is again morally wrong. A lot of our furniture wasn't plastic wrapped because they ran out and had left the wrap at the last site they worked. My tall dresser wasn't wrapped, and all the drawers fell out , damaging the top drawer, scratched the finish off and broke the corner. (Found this out a day later, nobody said a word when it happened). We called the office multiple times and finally the owner answered and we spoke to him and he said that we were more than willing to pay without complaint at the time and could have stopped the guys from working but let the job go too long. .......umm, ok. You can't just call it quits when half your furniture is already in the truck waiting to be transported. Then he put us on hold for a long time before just hanging up and NEVER called us back. The guys (workers) were really nice, BUYER BEWARE, go with another company that cares about its customers and gives a solid quote or flat rate. Lesson learned. read more

The movers were an hour late , and worked hard for 1 hour until the trailer was empty, but we had already been unloading with additional family help and had about a quarter of the trailer emptied by the time they arrived. When speaking to the manager/scheduler, Tori, I felt like there should be some adjustment to the 2 hr min charge previously agreed upon; she said all they could do was give a $25 discount. Do not use Muscle Men Movers. They were not organized and didn't have the experience needed to do a full house move. In addition, the under estimated the time and space needed to storage our household goods. Once we unpacked the truck we found multiple items either broke or damaged. We reached out to the company and they have refused to give us their insurance information to make a claim. They will tell you they are listened, bonded, and insured but good luck getting details from them. Be extremely careful using them. read more

Wow! These guys are awesome. Great prices. In addition they did an incredible job. We also had them move our pool table which they have special training. They took the pool table apart including the felt and then put it back together at our new place. I think our pool table is better than even before. These guys are rock stars. Fast! Honest! We called and priced out different moving companies in the valley, we decided to go with Muscle Man moving due to the reviews and pricing. We initially called to have a safe moved from the basement to our garage. Eric gave us a quote for $200/flat fee. Later, we asked for an additional quote to have a some furniture moved to our storage unit; we were quoted $100/hr with a minimum of 2 hrs. Seemed like a fair price; we agreed. On the day of I asked Eric notify me when the moving crew were headed our way. I was notified the movers would be 15 mins late due to icy roads, they ended up being 45 minutes late. Once the movers arrived; I showed them the items needing to be moved. To my surprise they were unprepared to move the safe and suddenly the rate per hour was $145/hr. The mover called Eric, saying he never told him about the safe and haggling with me over the price. I asked them to leave if they weren't going to honor the original price they quoted. They left. My husband called Eric to figure out what the issue was and why the rate changed; he was then told it was $145/hr for three people and $100/hr for two people. This is the first we heard of this and at no time when we set this up did we ever ask for three people. Eric was reminded we were originally only setup for moving of the safe and only later asked for things to be moved to the storage unit did he agree to honor the original rate quoted. The moving crew arrived and I apologized to them for the inconvenience; he made the comment, "Well, I don't know if it was you or Eric who was lying." I was offended by this comment, but just let it go. I didn't have time to try and get someone else out here. We waited for the safe moving crew to show up, it didn't take very long. They got the safe was moved with some damage to the safe and walls, but due to the awkward area it was somewhat understandable. Once the safe was moved; the additional three guys left and the original crew started moving other items to the truck. We didn't have a mass of items to move; but it did take them three hours to finish loading the truck and getting it to the storage unit. After a stressful morning, I was just happy it was finished. Unfortunately, I would not recommend muscle man moving due to their unpreparedness and not giving us full disclosure of their pricing. We definitely learned something from this experience, the main one being always get things in writing. read more

This is the absolute worst company!! Do not use them unless you want your furniture and possessions damaged or destroyed! We gave them blankets and tarps to use, to cover tables and other expensive furniture and they used none of them! Tables and furniture were scratched, holes punched in chair, mirrors broken..the list goes on and on! When the trailer got to our new home, out of state, the movers that unloaded the trailer were appalled at the lack of care the muscle men movers used! My experience with these guys was a nightmare! They did not protect any of the upholstered furniture (two couches and a yellow suede chair) before placing the pieces in the truck, so the truck left black marks on three of the furniture pieces, which were stacked on their sides. They also lifted a very heavy kitchen table by the legs, so the legs broke off in the process. And they turned a large glass-topped coffee table on its side while carrying it so the glass dropped and broke. Yikes! They also took twice as long to load the truck as it should have taken so it turned out to be quite expensive. While they did send someone out to clean the upholstered furniture, which I appreciate, they did not claim responsibility for the kitchen table because they claimed the legs were not attached by enough screws. Also they said they would replace the broken coffee table glass but it has been over 8 weeks and they haven't done so and Eric won't answer or return my calls or give me an address to send a receipt so I can get it fixed myself. I've tried to give them a chance to make things right but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. I would stay far away from this outfit. DO NOT CALL THESE UNPROFESSIONAL KIDS. We hired them to come to our house for their 2 hour minimum charge that we were told would be $75 an hour. They sent out two kids (Jordan, and Brandon). They showed up ten minutes late to our scheduled appointment at 12pm. Brandon used the bathroom at the first address (number 2 ,the entire upstairs smelled for the rest of the move). Jordan also asked to use the bathroom at the second address as they were leaving. They left a clipboard at the first address so we had to escort them back to first address for them to pick it up. They moved a total of 6 items (washer, dryer, deep freezer, king size mattress, wardrobe, and a dresser) in the two hour time frame. They broke a door off of the wardrobe, and put a hole in the mattress while bringing it up or down the stairs (they said it was the banister). They stood around bs'ing with each other more than actually moving anything. At second address Jordan was distracted by ferrets and had to run over to pet them. When it was time to pay them they told us the bill was $100 per hour 2 hour minimum, when we were quoted $75 per hour 2 hour minimum. Brandon called the boss (Abe I think) to ask about the price difference from what we were quoted to them have us talk to him(Abe) about the prices where he(Abe) insisted that he quoted us $100 and that he would not do anything even after we explained to him(Abe) everything about the moving experience. Very rude over the phone. Very unprofessional. The only recommendation I will ever give anyone looking for a moving company is to stay as far away from 'muscle men movers' as you can. I'd even go as far as saying that I'd search out people to tell to stay away from 'muscle men mover'. Will not use again. Will not recommend services. Such a horrible company and an appalling experience with their receptionist Eric. The incompetent receptionist Eric does not know how scheduling and cancelling an appointment works. I email back and forth with this idiotic individual, schedule an appointment for TODAY for them to meet me at my storage place between 3:45pm - 4pm and Eric confirms. I ask two simple questions: do you do military discount and do you match competitor prices. Eric only answers the discount question and not the matching price one. So I figured that was a rude way of saying no and in spite of not answering the question and being unprofessional, I brushed it off. I leave work early so that I can head over to my storage unit and I decide to communicate with Eric that I was on my way to my storage unit. This jerk says, "Our estimated time is roughly 9:00pm," I became livid. I was astonished as to how someone can be so barbaric, discourteous as well as careless. I immediately called him, confirmed it was him I was emailing back and forth with and his explanation was, "oh, I assumed you went with another company." How does someone think that?! I NEVER not once! Communicated to any individual, employed with this company, that I went with another company or that I wished to cancel. His response to that was, "It was a miscommunication so do you want to reschedule for tomorrow or not?" Unbelievable. I could not believe how much of a moron Eric was. I requested the owners name and he did not want to provide that information. I asked for the same information again and he finally did. He did not provide a phone number for Robert, the owner, and instead advised to continue emailing and that's how Robert would see it. They need to make this right because this is not at all ok. I have family coming in from out of state tomorrow and I have no furniture in my home. Thank you Muscle Men Movers and thank you Eric for being such a piece of shit. read more

We scheduled Muscle Men Movers to arrive at our house to move our possessions from our old house to our new house at 4:00 PM. A $100 deposit was required and charged by the company to reserve the time scheduled. We only had until 3:00 PM the next day to vacate our house which left us less than 24 hours to move. Muscle Men Movers did not arrive out our house until 7:00 PM (three hours late) and were only able to load/unload one truck load that evening with the company leaving our new house at 11:00 PM that night. We called the owner at 11:00 PM to complain about the movers showing up 3 hours late and for damaging three pieces of furniture. Muscle Men Movers then overcharged our card by $100. The amount was supposed to be $560 minus the $100 deposit equaling $460 but the company charged $560 to the card. Muscle Men Movers stated they would wrap furniture with plastic wrap to protect all furniture but did not wrap a single piece and a dresser was gouged, a couch back panel was pulled out and nightstand scratched. The owner stated he would only pay $100 for the damages but not refund the $100 overage charge. The company stated they would show up at 7:30 AM the following morning to finish moving the rest of the household goods. Muscle Men Movers never showed up that morning and called us later that morning stating they could only arrive at 1:00 PM which did not give us enough time to move our belonging out of the house in time. We had to scramble to find new movers at the last minute and moved most of our belongings with the help of friends and family. The low down: we scheduled Muscle Men Movers for a one evening move and they were unable to fulfill the agreed upon one day move due to the fact they were 3 hours late and were only able to move half of our belongings. Muscle Men Movers stated they would wrap all delicate furniture with plastic wrap. They did not wrap a single piece of furniture and damaged three items. Muscle Men Movers stated they would finish the move the following morning at 7:30 AM and never arrived putting an undue burden on our already stressful move. The company then called to state they could arrive at 1:00 PM which did not allow us enough time to fully move all belongings. Muscle Men Movers refused to refund the $100 overcharge of the card and they would only pay $100 for the damaged furniture which was not enough to repair all damaged items. The owner was condescending on the phone and hung up before resolving any issues or complaints and refused to take any further calls. Muscle Men Movers did not fulfill the agreed upon contract for a one evening move and put our entire move in jeopardy due to the company arriving three hours late that evening and no showing the following day. The damages to the furniture were due to the failure to wrap furniture in plastic wrap as promised. The workers were tired and careless with our belongings and the company failed to honor the agreed upon terms of the move. Bottom line, this is a shady and dishonest company. This was the first time I have used movers and I was very pleased with their service. They got to my place on time and got to work. They wrapped the furniture that needed to be wrapped so that none of it got damaged. I was impressed at how tightly they packed the truck so that everything fit into the truck and we didn't have to come back for anything. They were professional and the part I loved most was that there were absolutely no hidden or extra fees. It was exactly what they quoted me. The only thing I didn't know was how long it would take, but that was because it was my first time using professional movers. So to give you an idea... for a 1 bedroom apartment on the 3rd floor moving to another apartment on the 3rd floor took 4 hours total. read more
