Hibachi steak
Bob P.

Been here twice now. Restaurant was mostly empty both times. Food was served quickly and employees were friendly. Got hibachi steak both times which was great. Ordered a California roll the second time which was also great. Not too expensive. Will go back.

Don't come here...this is the tuna roll. Note that isn't the color of tuna.

Love the sushi here. So reliably delicious. Must try this little spot. It's next door to a movie theater so make it a date night

This was my go-to when I lived in Sunchase. People are hating, not sure why. It's standard hibachi. It's no shogun but no one can be.

The hibachi is average but I would never get the sushi there again. I had a Philadelphia roll and spicy tuna roll and was not impressed.

This is just fast food to me. I bet very little of the food is truly made in house…read more My husband and I wanted to get takeout but wanted to try something new to us. I've been seeing Ginza Soot but haven't tried it. My husband wanted ramen (we usually go to Takara) and we saw Ginza had ramen on the menu so we decided to try it. We ordered takeout: -Korean wings half regular and 1/2 spicy. They were just okay. Better Korean wings are available around town so I'd skip these next time. - Beef gyoza- reminded me of the frozen ones I buy from Lotte or Trader Joe's. They were okay but I didn't get the 'made in house' vibe from these. I've had better. Wouldn't order them again. - Pork tonkatsu ramen spicy. Granted it was takeout, but the package seems like it was assembled and stored in the fridge until someone ordered. The broth had to be heated up. It wasn't great. Wouldn't order it again. - general Tao's chicken spicy. This was way too sweet and not a hint of spiciness. The broccoli was overcooked. This is on par will mall Chinese food. Actually I've had better general Tso's at the mall kiosk. I bet the drinks and teas are good. For food, this one is not for me. This goes in the once and done column for me.

Then, you sit down and wait for them to take the food to your table. The place was very clean and the cashier was very nice. We decided to order an appetizer called Takoyaki Ball. It comes with 6. This is an acquired taste, but not bad at all.It has a strong fishy smell. Also, we ordered a poke bowl with 2 protein choices, another poke bowl with 3 protein choices. You can pick from a variety of ingredients and everything looked fresh. We also had the General Tso chicken with broccoli and white rice. Let me tell you, it was VERY HOT. Not spicy hot, like blow on your food as you eat hot, so be careful. It was very flavorful though and I took some leftovers and reheated in the air fryer just fine. My husband tried a watermelon drink with a clear ball at the top that made for an interesting conversation. No, he didn't swallow it. Definitely try this place. It had many other things on the menu.

A little birthday celebration and a good time was had!…read more Dimly lit, Perry's has the ambiance of your typical steakhouse. During the evening of our visit, it was super busy! You can call me an almost Valentine's Day baby, so it's always busy when I want to hang out for my birthday. Meh. We sat at the bar and our waiter took our orders. The wait for our food was über long. While we weren't in a rush and didn't complain, it was a pleasant surprise when the manager personally came over to apologize for the unexpected long wait. Now, on to the food. If you've followed me long enough on Yelp, you know I'm a big lover of pork chops. Perry's!? Hello, Perry's?! Come thruuuuu! Perry's has one of the best pork chops I've ever experienced. Yes, "experienced," because it certainly was an experience. The chop is gigantic and certainly big enough for two people to share. I did not share lol. I definitely had leftovers. It was seasoned perfectly, it was juicy, it was just amazing. I'd go back in a heartbeat for the pork chop alone. We also indulged in a seafood tower. Now, that's your standard fare. Good, but nothing special. Go for the pork chop. Just go. A huge shoutout to my friend for putting me on. Cheers!

Once seated, we waited longer than normal to be greeted or get water. Bread was served before drinks ever arrived. The entrees and sides were very good (but def not straight from the grill/oven piping hot), but the service is where they lost a star. At the price point, exceptional service should be a given. Having been to other locations, I expected more. We had a nice meal, but will seek other options next time we go out. Valet parking was nice ($5).

After our workout at the gym, we headed to the Courthouse Crossing shopping center on Busy St. The main streets are Courthouse and Midlo. The interior is absolutely lovely (read that with a British accent), and I told my son he should dress nicely and bring his girlfriend here for a dinner date. The place was empty, and I was honestly shocked. The server was extremely sweet and took our orders promptly. My wife is a sucker for bento boxes, and I could eat sushi every single day of my life. Wifey-pooh got a small bowl of miso soup, and since I had miso envy, I ordered my own bowl--it was delicious. The food arrived promptly and was ridiculously photogenic. I snapped a quick pic and proceeded to devour my plate of sushi. The salmon melted in my mouth, and the sashimi was equally delicious. Sarah asked me if it was better than Wegmans, and I emphatically nodded yes. The California rolls were also pleasant, topped with little orange micro roe. The Queen enjoyed her bento box, and we were both delighted with our experience at Kyoto. I'm already looking forward to our next visit.
