Minutes later she called back: they could help, and we booked for Monday. Matthew, from Veteran Air, showed up this morning and was a total pro. He greeted my dogs like old friends, then tackled the monster unit without scratching the window frame or siding. Watching him wrestle that sealed-in relic out of the wall convinced me I never could've done it alone. The unbelievable thing? The bill was tiny. Not only did they recharge the system at a much lower rate than competitors, he also offered to put a "sealer" into the system to help seal the leak. It fixed the problem!
