Mini Burgers

I was stoked to be able to make it to this iconic spot. Great ambiance and vibes in here. I had lunch here on a Friday while in town to catch the Bulls/Warriors game. It was the off-season for baseball so no Wrigley crowds, but still decently busy. We got a table promptly and had beers in front of us with the quickness. We shared some Wings which hit the spot. I had a bowl of Clam Chowder and their Mini Burgers. Both excellent. My friends got the Chicago Dog and Turkey Melt. Both liked their food. Great Menu selection of the usual Sports Bar favorites. Beers were Hazy IPAs and tasted great. Large selection of beer on tap. Service was on point and everything came. out quickly. We ubered out from Downtown to come here. It was a great experience and I will definitely return anytime I'm in Chicago.

Inside Murphys

Murphys is our absolute go-to for an overpriced beer and bratwurst (with sauerkraut) right before heading into the game. Mixed with young college kids and parents wondering how they got roped in, it's a perfect vibe of "everyone is welcome". Service is quick, a deep side patio with doors open to open both the inside and outside. This will always be our first stop when it's Cubs game day!

How do you not love Murphy's on a cubs game day??? Packed, lively, hopeful. It's the best place to be pre-cubs game. Plenty of standing room and a decent amount of tables as well! Regular prices for the area. Don't miss out on the history of Murphy's

A neighborhood institution, what better way to enjoy a beer (or...more) with a few friends than hanging out at Murphy's in the shadow of the Friendly Confines. Always a good hang before, during, or after a game, you're bound to strike up at least a few conversations with absolute strangers all afternoon. Kelly, one of the longtime bartenders, is great too - treated my wife and I like we've known her for years and kept an ongoing conversation going throughout the afternoon.

Part of the bar after a game

Our 1st visit to Wrigleyville, Wrigley Field, and Murphy's. I have to say I love this place! The energy is amazing. The slingers were on their game. We went there a few times in our short visit and the place is huge. I like the replica Wrigley Field and baseball decor. I had to buy a sweatshirt.

This is my family standard pre Cubs game meet up spot. Nice variety on the beer menu. I am not sour that I can get a sour here. The tots are awesome and even watching a game here is a good night. Pro tip: pick one person in your group to go into the bar to order, make sure they are experienced with ordering at bars and if it's a woman who does not look like the rest of the crowd even better. I always get served immediately here. And tip well these guys work hard!

A bar right across the street from the stadium. There is seating outside and inside. They were very very busy, but was able to get drinks pretty quickly. Prices are average for the area and the staff was kind.

In town for Orioles-Cubs game and met local friends here before game. They were actually sitting in bleachers that day. Not me. lol. Huge place w combo of indoor and outdoor space. Basically a dive bar but I found my way to the food where I had a hot dog worthy of the hangover I was sporting from previous day's game and festivities. Nice spot but got very crowded do we moved on to favorite place on other side of Wrigley.

Beer to watch the Da Bears

Stopped into this iconic bar after taking the Wrigley Field Tour. On this occasion the Da Bears were playing. We grabbed a seat in the south bar. For drinks we got draft beer for $7. We also ordered the sliders for an appetizer. Near bar with typical bar food on the menu. We enjoyed our selections. The sound system and TV were ideal for NFL Sunday. Bar seemed dog friendly. All in all, would come back again. They did have a parking lot for patrons. (Located directly across the street). This bar is located on honorary Jim Murphy block. Would be a fun spot to catch Cubs game during the season.

Stopped in while visiting Wrigley, GREAT place! Service was amazing, and food was on point. Loved the Cubs decor, and so glad I stopped in. If you are in the area, worth stopping in.

Stumbled upon this place as I was taking a picture at Wrigley Field, when a friendly gentleman standing outside by the name of "Popper" said " You guys look thirsty come on in." How can I resist such an invitation! Went in for a drink and was delighted to find out about the history of the bar itself. Popper and our bartender not only gave us a rundown of the history of the bar but provided wonderful recommendations about Chicago and fantastic conversation. The bar itself is rich with history not only about the Chicago Cubs but the city itself dating back over 100 years. Lots of TV's, great ambiance, pet friendly, spacious bar and most important located across from Wrigley Field!

This is THE neighborhood spot. Some of my best memories in Chicago reside in these 4 walls. The wings are a must.

Good food. Service is friendly. Your corner bar. You meet and make lots of friends there. Be careful on game day as it gets packed.

The food comes out faster than a CTA bus not stopping for you, and it absolutely slaps. The wings are crispy enough to make a grown Chicagoan emotional, if you love great food and haven't stopped by, then you are missing out. Every TV has a game on, every beer is ice cold, and the vibes are aggressively Chicago -- loud, friendly, slightly unhinged, but in a "we're all in this together" way. You'll hear someone yelling at the refs, someone else arguing about the Cubs bullpen, and somehow it all feels like home. Output is the kind of place where you say "just one drink" and then suddenly it's three hours later, you've made five new friends, and you're ordering another round of wings because "it'd be rude not to." If you're near Wrigley and choose to eat somewhere else, that's on you. Output understood the assignment. My friends and I were pleasantly impressed by the service and the food especially the wings and waffle fries with the truffle aioli. Can't wait to go back.

For me, it's all about the sauces and the options are great and I can't wait to try more. All this said, I get it's a bar in Wrigley, but the front room is super small and the back room is definitely not nice; somewhere between dirty and just not-cared-for (chairs and tables wobbled, dirty floor, etc.) They do delivery, I'll probably just get wings delivered from Output going forward.

The location is great and easy to get to, which is one of the reasons we decided to stop in. The atmosphere was fun, and the restaurant was very quiet that evening. Since it wasn't busy, we expected quick service and were looking forward to relaxing for a bit. Unfortunately, that's where our experience fell short. We were seated right away but then waited about 15 to 20 minutes without ever being greeted by a server. Multiple servers and bussers walked past our table several times, yet no one acknowledged us or even let us know someone would be with us shortly. It honestly felt like our table had been forgotten. Because we were never able to place an order, I can't comment on the food or drinks. We ended up leaving before anyone came to our table. The wait time itself wasn't the issue. We were seated immediately. The problem was waiting 15 to 20 minutes after being seated without receiving any service, especially at a nearly empty restaurant. As for value, it's hard to judge since we never had the opportunity to order anything. However, spending nearly 20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us made the experience feel like a waste of time. It's unfortunate because the atmosphere and location were great, but the lack of service completely overshadowed the rest of the experience. I hope this was just an off night, but based on this visit, I can't recommend it.
