Since I was already carrying several things, I set the ranch cups and ketchup packets on top of my closed purse while heading to checkout. At the register, I handed over the food basket, ranch cups, pastries, nuts, and everything else. We spent about $75 on snacks and another $60 on fuel. Then the cashier asked, "Ma'am, are you trying to steal ketchup?" I was completely caught off guard. I have never stolen anything in my life and honestly didn't even know ketchup packets were something that had to be paid for. When she asked how many I had, I told her 3 or 4, and I immediately paid for them. There was never any argument or hesitation. It was simply an honest mistake. What made the situation upsetting was how embarrassing it felt to be accused in front of other customers. Maybe there was a sign posted near the hot food section, but I didn't pick up the food myself and never saw it. I just wish there had been a little more understanding, especially considering we had already spent well over $100 in the store. A simple explanation that the sauces were an extra charge would have gone a lot further than making me feel like I was trying to steal. This can be a great stop for anyone on their way to drop-off their rental car at the airport. They also have an Amazon pickup station, as well as a car wash in the back of the building. The store has all your classic gas station items, and the place is always very clean. Overall, this is a great spot to stop by and put gas.

We had to wait 10 minutes to get some of the finally bring out creamer and the gentleman next to me another customer said wow she didn't have to have such an attitude. Only reason I gave it two stars instead of one it's because it was an inner city gas station, which I'm sure gives them a lot of problems. Two of their four coffee machines were down and many of their pull handle coffees were empty with just water coming out. Nothing too fancy but enough to keep you from running to a super HEB for one or two items. While I was there, I found a winning scratch-off in the parking lot. I took it inside to give the clerk in case anyone came back looking for it. He tells me "it's only worth two dollars. No one is coming back for it," then asks if I'd prefer cash for it or another ticket. I take another ticket, scratch that one off and win $4. And then no joke, exchange that for one that won $20. I cashed it and took my winnings with me. I haven't decided what I'll buy with it, but that was by far the best experience I've ever had a gas station from start to finish!

Even though this gas station is located just right outside downtown, it is just a couple minutes away from The Alamo. If you are visiting San Antonio and have a rental car, I would recommend filling out for gas at this location. Since is on your way to the airport, and most of the other gas stations around downtown and near the airport have higher prices. This Circle K has a good selection of snacks, beverages and other items. If you don't want to stop at a liquor store, they also have a wide selection of beers and other hard seltzers.

I had a favor order from this location, for a pack of cigarettes (I'm 28 mind you) and the manager who was also the assisting clerk, was just OUTRIGHT RUDE AF. He was humiliating me and mocking me, while I was showing him my temporary paper ID. He wasn't going to accept the paper, I showed him a picture of my ID so he can match it the the temporary and he just kept repeating himself about not accepting anything else, and he completely denied service to me. I stayed so calm, and repeated asking in a few different sentences, of trying to understand why he was refusing service to me even though I have a copy of what the Driving department advises me to use in a time of need. Save your self the stress from dealing or interacting with these idiots, and choose a different store if not location. I've used this gas station only when I am dropping off a rental car because for some reason I always forget to put gas. Thankfully this gas station is just one minute from the airport and saves you from having to pay extra on your rental. Another plus about this gas station is that they have multiple pumps, and enough space in between them. I always feel like other gas stations have the pumps too close to each other which makes it very difficult to maneuver around them (especially if you are driving a car that isn't yours). Accessing the gas station is very easy, but keep in mind that the cell phone parking lot is next to it, and sometimes cars can sneak up on you when exiting the gas station. As a local, I don't recommend coming here for your regular gas needs. But as someone that always forgets to put gas on rentals, you definitely need to come here!
