Wow! I have always enjoyed going to this location as do friends and family until today. Mother and caregiver went inside of store for ice cream and came back to car concerned that employees were not wearing mask and no acrylic panels at front counters! So I'm assuming some customers that go into this location and other QT's that believe that if a governor says we are okay to take away mask it's okay despite what CDC officials have said. Not to get on a soapbox here but after HALF OF A MILLION have died just here in the states to this unknown Pandemic we are dealing with and headed towards 3 MILLION worldwide we can drop our guard all for the sake of the almighty dollar.............Spoke with store manager and corporate office and there was an air of proudness to be able to state we give the young employees the option to wear one or not. I don't want to love this gas station, but I do. The gas is always the cheapest. They aren't sneaky either. They post even their premium gas prices. The store has everything you need. You want tea? They have like 10 different ready to go teas. You want something hot on a cold day? They have a lot of hot chocolate and coffee options. They also sell hot and cold food to go. You want ice or want or filtered water? You don't even have to go in the store for that. Just park on the side and it's right outside ready for you. read more

I don't typically consider gas stations a "destination" spot, but QuikTrip is an exception. Since QT opened up its doors in San Antonio, I've been making weekly pilgrimages with my husband or sister or anyone who will go with me. But I'm not there for the gas. Oh, no. I specifically go for the drinks. If you love iced tea, QT has the hookup. They offer multiple flavors on tap (my personal favorite is the unsweet pineapple papaya green tea, but everything I've sampled has been good). Same goes for coffee and frozen drinks--plenty of options to satisfy a range of palates. I mean, QT takes libations so seriously that they have two drink stations--one on either end of the store: one side focuses on hot drinks while the other focuses on cold drinks. This is what I imagine heaven to be like. Anyway, I've been to this location twice, and each time the employees have been attentive and friendly. The premises is spotless, which is a huge plus for me! And their snack game is on point. If you're looking to diversify your gas station options, you should definitely consider QT. Cashiers are always friendly. This is my closest neighborhood convenient store & I'm glad they carry GT's raw kombucha synergy drinks. And most convenient, I typically don't carry my wallet around with me when I am walking my neighborhood, but I always have my iPhone, and they accept Apple Pay... Flipping bonus man. A little unconventional, but brings a fresh change to a city with only one major brand of convenience prior to this endeavor (word is that there are 60 or more in San Antonio by 2020). I'm hoping to see good changes with local convenience brought about by competition. One thing I noticed is that the average customer is inside less than 3 minutes. Registers are the fastest around "swipe, approve, on your way". Beverage options abound, I even noticed multiple tea dispensers. Stopped in for a quick check to see what things were like here. I had never been to a QuikTrip before, but had seen them around. Stepping in I was impressed by the variety of food and drink items available. The drink selections are incredible!! Variety of iced teas, coffees, frozen drinks. These alone could get me to come in. For Texas road trips, there's Buc-ee's, but inside the city, we're all looking for a little slice of that sort of awesome--great snacks, clean bathrooms, options galore. This is where QuikTrip comes in. I'd heard rumors about this place for months and was blown away by the sheer size of the QT building I'd passed by during crazy rush hour traffic in Leon Valley. Of course, I hadn't bothered to stop because the Leon Valley destination goals are always Chacho's, Arby's, or Peter Piper Pizza--not some large gas station. When the new one started going up on Culebra and Westover Hills, I decided I'd check this place out as soon as it opened, and I eventually did. Heck! We had dinner there one night, what with all the junk food we bought. ;) Sure, QT offers the same kind of gas-station fare that every other corner-store pit stop does, but what QT does best is drinks. One side wall is devoted to your soft drinks and fruit punches. You get not one, but TWO, different ice varieties. They cover your cubed and crushed needs. THAT'S what I call SERVICE! The adjacent wall has a large assortment of slushee flavors--some soda flavors: Dr Pepper and Big Red in the bunch--as well as all your classic (and some not so classic) fruit flavors! If I could marry an inanimate object, a beverage station would be it. And QT doesn't do just one beverage station. The wall across from the sodas is devoted to coffee drinks (cold AND hot), horchata, and hot chocolate, served up steaming or iced! The drink walls alone make this place INVALUABLE. But then you have a multitude of snacks AND a food counter in the back that serves ice cream cones for 50 freaking cents. THAT'S LIKE LIVING IN THE 1940s! Maybe it makes for an odd, hodgepodge dinner, but three people ate for less than 20 bucks, and we drank to the point that our eyeballs were swimming in carbonated liquid. That's just a good day. Service is phenomenal. They're cleaning things that already look clean. That's how on top of things this ENTIRE corner store of employees of the month are. And a clean store with friendly employees is such a great sign of respect for the community. QT is a gift, and you're welcome. read more

The place is nice, good prices, good ice cream cones. Whatever you get, be warned, do not fill your water there. It is disgusting. I am sure there is no filter. Tap water tastes better. Every time I go in there it's the same consistent experience. Everything is clean, from the gas tanks themselves to the inside. Everyone is always so nice and always greeting. One day I went in and a guy was sweeping outside (I've never seen a gas station so that) and he came over to open the door for me. They have a really wide variety of drinks there. This is the first time I am reviewing a convenience store/gas station but I just had to. I frequent a bar across the street and got wind of this place one night when they brought in pizzas and when I asked where they were from the point across the street at the gas station. I was in shock! The pizzas were great! I had to get another look at this place. So last week after leaving the bar I stopped in to see what was what. This is not your typical gas station, I would say this is a mini Bucees for those that know what that is. They have dozens of beverage choices in their fountain section to include tees, power drinks, and soda. They have and impressive fresh food section as well that has things like pizzas, pulled pork sandwiches, and fried chicken. They have the usual gas station stuff like chips, cigarettes, and candy. One thing that I did get was a chicken to Quito that they have in the section where the hotdogs and other premade fresh foods are. I was a bit leery but man was it delicious, especially around midnight after having a couple of drinks. This place is awesome. Never change. read more
