FIRST TIME VISIT!…read more Woohoo! Been looking for chili cheese fries and happened upon a review for this place boasting fries with a homemade chili so we HAD TO stop in tonight. THE LOCATION: on the very end of a string of businesses in a strip mall that I've never been in before, so that was cool. Lots of parking, that'll never be an issue. And right off the 410. THE MENU: Burgers, dogs, Mexi-style munchies and a variety of frozen dessert-type items like shakes, frozen fruit concoctions and Italian ice. THE STAFF: I wasn't overwhelmed with a warm welcome and smiles, at least from the guys. Lol! They should really work on that. There was a sweet gal who ran out our food orders and she was great. THE FOOD: I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich deluxe with tots and a sweet tea. The grilled chicken was juicy and cooked well and the bun was lovely, slightly sweet and toasted. Overall, the sandwich could've used more flavor, like a creamy bbq spread and cheddar instead of the "Swiss" cheese that tasted more like American cheese. But overall, 7/10. The tots were extra crispy and the guy who took my order didn't take heed to my request for ranch. I was too lazy to get up again so I settled for ketchup. The sweet tea was nicely sweet and fresh, I'll be sipping this in my dreams. The hubby ordered the bacon cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and an Oreo cookie shake. The burger looked good and he ate it quick, so there's that. This guy can EAT so it surprised us both when he slowed down fast after eating that burger. Lol! He kept saying how filling it was, but then he also killed a large shake before the food arrived, so there's that. He ate most of his chili cheese fries, leaving me a few bites to sample. Not bad. I order a Coco Haven frozen dessert to go and omg is this thing delightful! Vanilla ice cream and coconut Italian ice (?) with a blue snow cone-like syrup drizzled throughout. I loved the texture of what I believed to be Italian ice. Smooth and flaky, a perfect icy dessert. OVERALL: decent eatery, the hubby said we can go back (LOL!) Shockerrrrr! But I recommend the staff tries harder to make customers feel welcomed and comfortable. The next visit will be telling.

But they do lettuce wrapped, still not the same though. The service is always great since I have the extra modifications. The ambiance is nice, we are able to hear each other speak even though there are tv's playing. I'm a sucker for their bistro burger and the cucumber cup as a side.

I had a very disappointing experience due to the manager's handling of my order. The manager I…read moreinteracted with was Anthony. I originally asked for Colby Jack cheese, but my sandwich was made with Pepper Jack. When I pointed this out, the employee handed the sandwich to the cook in the back. Instead of remaking it, he removed the two slices of Pepper Jack and placed Colby Jack on the same sandwich, which was disappointing from both a food quality and customer service standpoint. When I received the sandwich back, it was completely cold. I asked for a new sandwich. The first one was thrown away, but when I received the replacement, that sandwich was also cold. When I explained the issue to the manager, Anthony responded with a grin and stated, "The sandwich is not guaranteed to be warm because we are a fast-paced company." I then asked if it could be toasted, and he told me they "can't do that." His tone felt dismissive rather than solution-focused. At that point, I asked for a refund since I was not going to eat a cold sandwich. Anthony chuckled, then asked for my card. The interaction felt unprofessional and disrespectful, especially coming from a manager. Chick-fil-A's mission states that the company strives "to glorify God by being a faithful steward and having a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A." Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that mission. I have always associated Chick-fil-A with high standards of food quality and exceptional customer service, which is why this situation stood out so strongly. I hope this location reviews proper food handling procedures and reinforces customer service expectations, particularly for leadership roles.

I eat Chick-fil-A 3 to 4 times a week... This week I stopped at a different location and I got into…read morethe far left lane as I usually do... but then I happens to notice that the two carhops taking orders were ignoring me and taking all of the cars on the right side. I had to flag the lady down and ask her why she wasn't taking my order and she told me that I was in the mobile lane and proceeds to tell me that I'm gonna have to wait behind the other five people in front of me while they get their orders and then I have to circle back around and get in the right lane to order my two drinks and a chicken noodle soup..... there's menu options on both sides and she had the keypad in her hand and there was nobody else in line behind me, she could've easily took in my order. so after waiting for the five cars in front of me to get their order I get to the window and I explained to the manager what happened. The impression I got is that he was really busy, understaffed and didn't have time to listen to me. His solution was pull around to the front and I'll send somebody out there to take your order. ... so I drive back around front and I sit there and wait, and I wait. I get frustrated and get out of the car and I have to walk inside and stand in line behind two other people just to order my two drinks and a chicken soup... The manager saw me and made eye contact with me but didn't even approach me. I made my order and sat there and waited for my two drinks and chicken noodle soup inside like everybody else after waiting in the drive-through line. The manager seemed like he was really busy and not very well-versed on problem-solving and handling simple problems situations on the spot and keep a happy customer. But instead here I am writing this one star review. I go to Chick-fil-A all the time and they always have two lanes open I've never been the one where only one lane is for mobile orders and the other is for drive-through orders. They both have the menu options on both sides that makes no sense. There's no sign either. If I was the manager I would've much rather solve the problem on the spot then take a one star review for my store.

When I entered, I was greeted with a great beautiful smile from the cashier, as she was taking someone else's order. I looked through the menu as I decided what I wanted, and she told me about the lunch special they had as well. They're a burger joint and the burgers feel like something you'd get at home, and in the best way possible. Everyone, self included, is on a big smash burger kick, and it's nice to get back to a big juicy burger! This one had all the toppins on it and ordered a side of fries. I opted to sit outside, because they have a great patio area, with a stunning view! After the camera took all it's action, I dug right in. Such a great first, second, third and all the other bites!! The burger was juicy and cooked just to my liking! I loved that the bread was toasted on the bottom of the bun, and not just the inside of the bun, it was a beautiful toasty bun!! The fries were more wedge like, and I like that they were coated and had this nice crispy crunch on them. They were piping hot, which is what I love!!! I got really excited when he told me about it because they have all the "organ meats" we love: cabeza, lengua, tripas, etc. We saw this location last week when we were eating pho next door. I remember it opened as one of two Krystal Burgers in San Antonio. Unfortunately, the burgers didn't go over here. I don't know what else has been in this location since. I never paid attention. Today, I had a rare Saturday physical therapy appointment and decided to drive here and grab some takeaway to see if my son was right about it. I should have known not to doubt him! I ordered a cabeza burrito and a tripas taco. When I got home, I could not believe how huge they were and how much meat was stuffed inside them. I ate half of each of them before I had to stop. They were both absolutely delicious.I am not a fan of the tiny pieces of tripas, but they were perfectly cooked and plentiful. The cabeza was gooey and greasy like old fashioned barbacoa before most places started serving pulled pot roast instead. Next time, I will stick to tacos, as the burrito is way to much for me, even if I had not ordered the extra taco. The restaurant was very clean. The people that served me were very nice. I really liked the self-serve salsa bar. They had several different ones to try. I took two of them. They were spicy and delicious.

Recommend: Maybe I…read morerecently visited Dave's Hot Chicken in Schertz, and it seems like they just opened--because it was very busy. I'm guessing once the initial rush dies down, the experience might feel a bit more relaxed. When I first walked in, there was a slight unpleasant smell, kind of like body odor, which wasn't the best first impression. That said, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Even though I ordered through the kiosk (which was easy and straightforward to use), employees still checked in to see if I needed anything. After placing my order, it took about 10-15 minutes to get my food, which felt reasonable considering how crowded it was. I decided to sit outside since it was a nice day, and they do have both indoor and outdoor seating options. As for the food--portions are definitely generous. I ordered two sliders (mild spice level) and a salad. The sliders had thick pieces of chicken, and while they were filling, the chicken itself was a bit too thick for my liking and didn't have much flavor beyond the spicy seasoning on the outside. On the positive side, the sauce on the sliders was really good. The salad was also a standout--I genuinely enjoyed it. The fries were another highlight: fresh, crispy, and paired well with the sauce. Overall, this visit felt a bit hit-or-miss, possibly because of how busy things were. I'm willing to give it another try down the line to see if the experience improves once things settle. If you're curious, it's worth checking out for yourself.
