I trust them in that I know I can go here to purchase food that is real from nature. Sometimes it's good to eat a lot of what comes from a plant instead of a bunch of stuff made in a plant. The vitamin and supplements aisle seems well researched and plentiful. I'm pretty sure the supplement that you are looking for will be here. And they have high quality hand creams and moisturizers. Dark chocolate candy in so many varieties. The employees are always friendly, on Chick-fil-A level courteousness. I walked here from my hotel and passed a few questionable people. Where I come from, the panhandlers aren't like those folks. Anyways, even in the Walmart were questionable people. I didn't die nor was I hurt though. Despite the opposite of most of its patrons, this Walmart was clean and organized. I didn't find anything to be cluttered or in disarray. This location sells beer, wine, AND liquor. That's a first. Lots on clearance items to be found as well. Our cashier was sitting on a stool and refused to go to the tobacco lane for the patron before me. I heard them arguing about it, he said that they always walk over to the next lane and grab what he needed. She refused, resulting in him storming away mad. Yikes. If you're a local and have other options, this one probably isn't for you. For me, it served a purpose and in the perfect location, close to several other hotels in the area.

As I was leaving, I asked to purchase a pack of cigarettes and was told, "We do not sell cigarettes." This confused me, since they have a smoke shop and sell other tobacco products. The response didn't seem accurate, and it left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. If there has been a policy change regarding cigarette sales, that's completely understandable--but a clear explanation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, the interaction left a negative impression, and because of that experience, I've decided not to shop there again. Customer service and clear communication matter, and this experience just didn't meet that standard.

As I understand it, they charge you their cost and then add 10% at the register and the 10% is their profit. That makes absolutely no sense to me for two reasons. 1: why don't they just add 10% to the price on the shelf. 2: why are some of their prices so much higher than other stores around. Some of the prices are ridiculously high. Even higher than Dillons down the street, which can have some ridiculous prices at times. However, I will say that they have some good prices on beer. About a dollar cheaper than Walmart. Actually, beer is about the only reason I go to the store. There is one positive I noticed about this store. They have a good selection of generic cereals. I find that most name brand cereals are overpriced for what they offer. Therefore, it's refreshing to see a store with a larger selection of generic cereals. With Dillons down the street and Walmart not much further, it's worth going in and seeing if there are products on your shopping list that are worth purchasing at this store before or after you go to Dillons and or Walmart.
