Need lunch? Need something filling that appeals to vegos and carnivores the like. Munooshi Café really delivers. I was in the CBD in between meetings and super hungry (kind of skipped breakfast, oops). With my trusty Yelp app at hand, I searched for something close. Oh yes, how could I have forgotten! Munooshi Café.
A Munooshi is pretty much an Arabic Pizza. Almost like a calzone, except with fresher lighter fillings. They jam pack these little beauties with everything from black olives, cheese, minced lamb, cucumber, lettuce, sausage, falafel, etc.. They also offer sweet versions with strawberries, nutella and banana.
There is something wholesome and satisfying about a Munooshi. I think that this is a perfect meal for the colder months when you want something to warm you up!
I ordered the Lamb Mince Munooshi. It was filed with Lamb, tahini, tomato, and fresh mint. The Lamb tasted like it was seasoned with sweeter style spices like cinnamon, cloves and ground coriander. Works perfectly with the tahini, tomato and mint. This was actually a really filling meal. Loved it and really well priced at $8.90!
The serve lots of different snacks, dips, wraps and fresh juices as well. You can see that they get quite busy with the neighbouring offices. I can also see quite a following on Yelp. But this is founded though. Yelpers know a good food destination when they experience one! read more
