I've bought two guitars and an amp from Mundt and have always been pleased until now. My family has done business there for years also. I dropped my brand new guitar off the day before I had a gig, and needed it back the same day. When plugged into my amp, it would cut out about an hour into my sets. I was told the "guitar guy" was at lunch, but when he got back, he'd check it out and give me a call. I never got a call and I had to use another guitar for my gig. I finally called the following Saturday and asked if it had been looked at. I was told it was ready for pick up. When I asked if it was fixed, she said, "it's ready for pick up". I picked it up today and was told the battery was shot and I was charged $14.00. I will find another place to do business from now on. I just spoke with the manager on the phone. He offered no help or clarification as to why the customer service at Mundt was lacking, other than them being busy. He also didn't offer up why I was charged $14.00 without a call telling me it was "just the battery". I wasn't given the option to change it myself and pay $3.00 versus $14.00. Too busy to be helpful or not call customers back is unacceptable. I also know that the pickup should have been tested, not just the battery. I won't take my business there anymore or send anyone else. read more

No one in the building was wearing a mask. There were three employees in the check out area and one standing propped up on the counter outside the checkout area. There was one customer at this area that everyone was chatting with. I approached this area and the was no acknowledgement no greeting - nothing!! After waiting awhile I finally asked the employee propped up for help. I am very new to the musical instrument that I needed help with and was pointed to the two areas for the product that I needed. This employee or anyone else not moving a muscle. I found one of the items and could not find the other one and had to beg for help with this item. I felt that I was treated very very poorly and will not return to this store. I realize that I am a little ole grey headed lady and not a season musician, but the is no excuse for this behavior in a business or elsewhere! read more

Best Music store in the region. I have been a Mundt customer since 1989. I have purchased thousands of dollars in musical instruments and equipment from them over the years. I have never had a complaint or issue with any purchase. The employees are extremely knowledgeable about what they sell and are always willing to help you find exactly what you need. They do not try to oversell inexperienced customers but would rather make a friend and help educate those that need real answers. Their inventory is the highest quality and a good mix of instruments for musicians at all levels of playing experience. Their prices are competitive with internet and larger cities like Dallas and Shreveport stores. I will always shop here first before buying an instrument from an internet store. read more

This is a great music story with a good variety of instruments and a knowledgable staff. I have not made any major purchases here, only peripherals, strings, picks. My only complaint is the prices being a littler higher than what you would find online, but that is the case with and brick and mortar store, but in my opinion, are still very reasonable. Not having to pay for shipping or waiting for the product to arrive makes up for the few percent increase in price. read more
