Well I'm a guitar player more for my own intertainment than anything and like anything else you do…read morefor fourty three years you get pretty good no where near the best but you learne what type of equipment is the best you learne witch equipment that is.cost friendly and you also learne what kind of equipment that is way over priced and in no way lives up to its name witch is more of a brag then anything and well guitar equipment is no different and gets to be extreamly expensive so from there you have to figure out a way to buy the top Ranked equipment in a price range you can afford i mean just think if you get to be a super star you also become rich and theres equipment out there that only an extreamly welthy person can afford new witch brings us to this tube guitar amps are by far superior equipment. But a new off brand tube Amp with a new to the market brand name that no one has a clue of there build quality or if it will last for any length of time witha 12 inch single speaker will be around 500.00 so you learn to keep money put back and be ready for a deal and most people will spend thier intire life in the used market for all of the reasons listed above well that being said i had saved up a small nest egg and had a free day from work and chores and had seen most of the used equipment available in longview Tyler marshall and gladewater but a guy i knew had told me about some equipment he had seen available and that there were saverale tude amps in this pawn shop somewhere around here but he wouldnt tell me where man thats cold but anyway i knew i had seen everything in east texas pawn world except the one shop in white Oak texas so i did some digging came up with the no. Made a call and the man verified he had everything that guy I knew told me about and more so I headed rite down there to J&L and walked in told him who I was he showed me most everything except there was some in his storage he was extreamly helpful was understanding of the amount of time I needed to check all of this vintage equipment out told me when I could see the stuff from storage and it was there when he said it would be and I think eventually I bought every piece of vintage equipment he had well I think I mite have missed out on one piece or it may still be there waiting on me oh and he made corrections on the price of everything he could heck after that he's been a regular stop for anything I need that's bought better used and somethings I buy new it's just one of the friendliest places I've ever been. Oh and I think I forgot to mention that some of the very best tube guitar amps out there you can no longer buy them new intact some of the you haven't been able to buy new since the 50's and some since the sixty's and some since the 70's even more since the 80's and if you think that's crazy when you fall in love with guitars it gets really wild and there are some people that do the super search for guitar peddles and speaking of I do believe J&L's carries some of both just call him and ask and him and after this becomes available to read I'm gonna have to increase my no. Of visits to catch the good stuff well Good day my fellow Guitarist and happy hunting

Purchased Whirlpool slide in electric range 3 years ago. Soon after warranty expired paint coming…read moreoff top of range. First black and now stainless steel. This range only self cleans by Aqua-Lift technology- Distilled water in bottom of range so it steams a little. Moseley told us that was the only method being offered due to safety. It does NOT clean. While visiting family in the area, I had time to kill and money to spend. I'm a seasoned cigar…read moresmoker and I was very unimpressed with this shop. First, you have false advertising stating " largest humidor in Texas". Cigar International in Conroe and FtW beats your square footing. Granted, it's a large humidor- but it's not properly humidified. Your Perdomo 10th anniversary felt like a dry twig. I picked up other brands and noticed that most felt dry. I've been in enough shops to know the feel of a properly maintained walk-in. I should have not have been surprised bc you are selling over priced dry sticks along with Swisher Sweets and vape supplies! Let's talk about customer service- in an era where most cigar shops are competing with online retailers, your service is what should set you apart. I sat in the under- humidified space for 10 minutes before one of your associates came into the walk-in. Dip in his mouth, he asked if I needed help. I said I had time to kill and was looking to smoke a cigar. He told me I had to pay a day pass to access the lounge! That was the final straw. Your retail prices are at least a dollar more than most brick/ mortar cigar shops. Your inventory is dry and customer service is lacking. I left. While driving in Gilmer I noticed that you have another shop. I decided to try again. That shop smelled of weed and body odor. I left. Next time I visit East Texas, I'll remember to bring my own cigars!

I was happy with this store, across all of their locations, until late 2025. Out of nowhere, they…read moretell me I can no longer get my membership discount at the register. I now have to download some app and preorder to get the same discount. While they may think this is saving them money by making it more difficult for their customers to acquire rewards, I can tell you they have lost my weekly business as the discount app is too much of a pain and I am irritated. It was great doing business with you, until you got greedy! UPDATE: Within 12 hours, the store manager responded. I do not agree that this was a "misunderstanding", as several drive through employees at the East Longview and Henderson locations have flat out (but apologetically) refused to accept my Iron Horse Rewards cards at the register. But based on her response that they will accept it, I returned to the East Longview store. The clerk started to say they would not...but I interrupted to let her know the manager said they will, and she did. So I got $7 off my purchase (since it has been months since I could redeem discounts). Upgrading from 2-stars back to 5-stars unless they repeat this "misunderstanding".
