We ordered biria tacos, carne asada street tacos, shrimp cocktail, a molcajete, and a few other entres. The Tortillas were homade and the salsas were delicious! Our server Fabiola was attentive and super sweet! Will have to return when they get their liquor license!

Found out about Dos Carnales on the SAFoodies page on Facebook. Thank you, SAFoodies…read more Simple Ambiance in this case it's all about the food and the service. The service: Incredibly attentive from the moment we walked in, quick to seat... get our drink order and then consistent follow up from almost the entire staff.... everything ok, you need anything... refreshingly rare. But the food... so many options as you can see by the photos of the menu. My first go to for a Mexican restaurant is always the cheese enchiladas. Are they good? Gooey cheese is my favorite over cheddar etc.... (I know i know) so I ordered the Nacogdoches plate to also sample their beef fajitas (beef or chicken were options) Fajitas were plentiful and delicious. My food friend who went with, ordered the Burrito stuffed with Asada, rice, beans... and topped with boiling hot cheese and red sauce.... (hopefully the video comes through) Looking good. No complaints from him either. Thursday it's breakfast time.

A one stop shop for your caffeine and breakfast fix. The counter hosts a small mini fridge with multiple salsa (2 spicy and 2 mild). Parking can be compact but on a weekend you can use the PNC bank lot and walk a couple steps to get to the food/coffee truck (would recommend as it's much less hectic). Lots of standing and picnic tables to enjoy your food too.

A clever name since "Naco" is a slang Mexican term and the food truck is on NACOgdoches st. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We ordered tacos à la carte. I was kind of bummed that they didn't include one of the tacos I ordered but it's all good. The tacos were actually big and one more taco would've been too much. I ordered the chorizo and egg taco on corn tortilla and the chilaquiles taco (huge portion fyi). My husband ordered the chorizo and egg, the brisket, and the chicharron tacos. All of the tacos were very flavorful and a good size for the price! They have a cute little salsa fridge and beware the salsas are SPICY!! There is community seating and service was good! There is gender neutral restrooms and limited parking. Lively and casual ambiance!Definitely recommend!

Not so sure why all these glorious reviews. I can't say I was too impressed by this truck…read more I've been here twice so far and thought the food was pretty average. I had high hopes b/c the high rating and ordered the original gyro based on the recommendation. When I got my O.G., I wasn't OMG'd at all. Although I am not an expert on moroccan food, my taste buds are experts on food in general. The second time, my friend ordered the Chicka Chicka Bang Bang and offered me some to try. I liked the name Chicka Chicka Bang Bang and thought I was going to do a bang bang dance after putting the Chicka Chicka in my mouth. But again I thought it was A-OK. Apparently my friend was pretty unhappy about what she was eating (that's probably why she offered it to me, J/K). She said one of her close friends is moroccan and she has tasted much better moroccan food than this. All right then, guess it wasn't just me. So, the ultimate question: will I return? Probably not given that another truck at the Alamo Street Eat Bar is my favorite.

In search of something new, I found Wheelie Gourmet's Moroccan-inspired fare. After going over the menu, I asked for the Kefta which was labeled as a "Moroccan Burger." The Chef asked if I wanted to add the special, Candied Bacon. "Of course, I want Candied Bacon!" A few minutes later, this stunner was put in front of me. I took a minute to appreciate it, the warm pita bread, the seasoned meat with a hint of sauce, fresh spinach leaves and oh, yes, emmin-effin candied bacon. The next few seconds were a blur of tastiness, followed by awesomeness and rounded out with fullness. Will be back. Soon.

As a mom of 2 on the go I loved the food truck location, because I was able to park in front of the business while one of my girls napped in the car. The owner was very friendly. He had a few orders ahead of mine, I know some people might leave if they're impatient but that only peaked my interest more. I was given an electric pad that alerts you when your order is ready so you can wait in your car! I ordered the Chicken pad Thai (medium spiced), and I got my hubby the Chicken pad woon sen (mild). I tried both. The food was delicious! If it is your first time trying it, be sure to start off with the mild spice and work your way up. You know how some places you order spicy but it's not actually spicy; yeah no, his is spicy LOL so for my personal preference I think a mild is best. People don't be discouraged by how the portions look in the picture! Swear it's not those small "meal prep" containers, it's a GOOD SIZE portion. 10/10 will return for sure and I love that there's other food trucks around, so if you and your partner want something different you'll have options too. I will say that the thing that personally frustrated me a little, was the wait time to get my food; but then again like I said there was a LINE ahead of me so yes his food is popular. I think he also has the option to order online, so maybe I'll try that next time. I placed my order around 5:40pm and got my food till 6:20pm. BUT keep in mind everything was freshly made, the taste was Amazing, good portion and it is just HIM working the truck. So maybe order ahead or maybe you'll get lucky and there won't be a long line ahead of you.
