This place serves deliscious Pan in myraid options and combinations. They taste really good and fresh. The names of these are pretty intriguing. Look out for the pan menu I posted!! I also very much liked the vada pav here!! After long time I could find it in Chicago!! Would like to visit again for sure

Been to this place twice. The first time we went, they took 1hr to complete my wife's order of Manchurian. When my wife asked the lady that took my order, she said we had to wait on the side. So when we went to the other side the same lady came over asked my wife what she ordered (I remind you that this is the same lady that took my order)...at this point I'm thinking that the lady might have had long day. Then she started making my wife's Manchurian and kept working on other orders. At the end of it, she was so occupied with other orders that she burned the food and filled the box and handed it over. The second time we went, it was almost the same service except the lady got our order completed in 45min. We ordered 1 Mumbai sandwich and Mumbai pulav. We were the only ones in line and placed our order. Then a group came in and order drinks. Immediately she call to girls to start making the drinks. Then 2 more people came in and ordered drinks and they started taking care of the drinks. And then more customers came in. After taking care 8 customers, the lady started working on the order and when I asked the lady when my order will be ready? She said it's taking long because I have to cut the vegetable (complete lie). So after I received my order and went home to eat, we found that the fresh vegetables that she was cutting were cold ( almost as if they were frozen vegetables ). The $6 sandwich with stale potato chips was ok I guess. The pulav was left over white rice with masala, frozen mixed vegetables, and onions.

If you have taste for Indian chaat, this the best place to go in the burbs. Everything we have tried is full of flavor. Amazing staff who truly cares what they are serving to their customers--very rare for a Indian place. Their falooda is to die for-must try for sure.

Ordered "papri chaat"... this is what i received. I was the only order too so kts hard to believe it was a mix up.

Has kind of cafeteria style atmosphere. Lot of choices for the food. But Best shakes and Paans. Good things is they make fresh paans not frozen ones or pre made . Funny Hilarious paan names but worth to try out. Good thing they opened till midnight or 1:00 AM.

The food was excellent. Never had better tasting Indian chat food items in Chicago land. Ambiance was not great. Services was mediocre.

This Place Is Uniquely Pakistani..Proudly Serving Their Community…read more. Years ago, Beau & I came here, during their Iftar Buffet, & since then, this place has delighted, each time we've dined here.. We then dined a second time, during another Iftar Buffet, also stopping by on another occasion, just after lunchtime. Whilst on two other occasions, we came here for dinner, ordering a la carte. And, each meal we've had here, mostly meets the mark !! What We Observed, Is As Follows: The Ambiance: Is clean, simple, & cafeteria like, offering plenty of seating for gatherings.. They do add Decorative Flourishes here & there, to add Charm & Festivity to the air. But during dinner time : the eatery is near empty. However, during Iftar: The Eatery Is Positively Packed, Alive With Communal Energy!! The Food: Is Rich, Meaty & Aromatically Spicy, as one would expect with Pakistani cuisine.. Would Recommend: Their Finger Fish: fried in a spicy breading, & perfect when dipped in their green chili sauce.. Their Karahi Ghosht: meaty & robust in flavor, served in a rich red gravy.. Their Aloo Kheema: which has a rustic homemade quality .. Their Chicken Fajita Omelette: (which I learned to my dismay, is not offered during dinnertime) Their Garlic Fries Their Zeera Rice (though I wish it were more spiced) Their Paratha Their Mango Shake And, all of the flavorful items, offered on their Iftar Buffet.. Lastly, we recommend: Their Chai, which has subtle hints of cardamom, & is Always the Sweet Ending to our meals here. Would Not Recommend: Their Butter Chicken: (to my dismay, I found the white meat too dry, & that the gravy tasted tangy, as opposed to rich & buttery..) The Service: For The Most Part, Is Satisfactory: But upon asking: I was told the last time we dined here: that they don't offer Khamiri (fermented) Paratha. (And yet I read a review here on Yelp, which said they do indeed make this ?!) Hope next time, the cook caters to my request.. They could also improve by: caring enough to replace the styrofoam cups for water, & the paper cups for tea, with Real Glassware & Chinaware.. But Overall: This Humble Place Has It All: A Neighborhood Eatery, Offering Hearty Pakistani Cuisine, From Everyday Fare, To Pakistani Delicacies!! And, Situated Nearby, Saving Us Hours, From A Trip To The City!! Oh yes, We Love It Here, At Zahid Nihari !!

I came here with family and had their dinner buffet. The appetizers were pretty good. They had…read moresamosa chaat and chicken pakoras. The tea was fantastic BTW. The entrees is kinda where they lost quality. Though there were many good looking options, the flavor wasn't there. It was way too much masala in the rice dish and gravy to the point the food isn't enjoyable. For example the biryani had giant clumps of masala that were just inedible.

My husband and I came in for a quick bite to eat. We did not take any pictures because…read moreunfortunately I left my phone in the car. The food we had was really good I had the Shish Kabob Sandwich, it came with two 10" kabobs that were made out of Halal ground beef, it was nice and spicy and full of flavor. A quarter of my plate was lettuce with raw onion (which I really love to eat on my sandwiches). There were Also two pieces of naan that were both about the same size as the plate. My husband had the Butter Chicken and he says it was good and unlike any other Butter Chicken he has tried in the past (other places make it with more of a tomato flavor). It also came with rice (he could choose rice or naan) The Shish Kabob meal includes rice or naan on the menu... but she told us that there is a separate charge for this. She said prices for Halal meat have gone up. She did not charge us this time but will next time and instead of $8.99 for the Shish Kabob meal, we were charged $9.99 which is not a big deal. They also automatically add a 15% gratuity charge to the bill. I have seen a charge like this at other restaurants for large groups but never just for me and my husband. If they don't include the naan or the rice I don't think it would be very filling, I would rather see them have an updated menu with the correct (increased) pricing which includes naan or rice. If this is not an option, at least tell us when we are ordering. If you plan on dining here I suggest asking for pricing if your paying with cash to make sure you have enough money with you. Other then that, we will be back!

I always expect hot spices with any dish ordered from an Indian/similiar restaurant, but this was unnecessarily spicy. The chicken quality was no good and the dish reminded me of leftovers that had been in the fridge for days. Ate a few spoonfuls, had my husband try it to make sure it wasn't just me ( it sure wasn't) and threw the entire thing in the trash. Gross
