Lala did a fantastic job on my braids and the pricing is so reasonable for the quality of her work. I've never had tighter, fresher looking braids- they lasted me three weeks. Will definitely be going back to see her! read more

NOT A SAFE ENVIRONMENT! Wish I could give this place a 5. GiGi was awesome. Unfortunately wasn't able to get my hair complete due to the owners kicking me out because of an unruly customer who invited me outside to have a "Talk". I refused said invitation and tried to complete the rest of my hair session to which I was told that I had to leave because the unruly customer was agitated, said customer was using racial slurs aggressively and was very unpleasant. Rather than diffusing the situation the owner abruptly told me to leave. I gathered my belongings and left accordingly. If you want a safe space to chill and get your hair done with good people around you, DO NOT COME HERE! read more

I was looking for a braider here in Sonoma County and was fortunate enough to find someone. Leela is super sweet and a perfectionist at the box braid style I like. I arrived on time and she was ready to go. I was so happy with my hair I can't wait to go back. This salon is located in Rohnert Park and can easily be found near the shopping plaza. Thank you Leela you came through on the clutch. read more

Fantastic experience. Needed professional braids done and Leela did a wonderful job - from upfront help figuring out what I wanted to the braids themselves. Thank you! read more

I think this hairstylist is the most unprofessional individual I've interacted with to date. I don't even have the energy to rehash How absurd and out of line this individual was today, However I have screen shots of the text feed and voicemail dictation from t-mobile. At no time is it ever OK to harass a potential client For simply asking for more reference photos and/or clarity. A simple let me get back to you in an hour or so would have sufficed, But instead Received several missed calls and a scathing voicemail from said stylist. JASMINE your response shows your true Character super sad you do business this way. You probably should have fell back before I recorded your message, Technology is the greatest tool! Bye!!! read more

I contacted Multicultural Hair Studio to do some French braids for my daughters who are competitive dancers. The hairstyle is particular and important. Leela did absolutely beautiful braids on both of my daughters, however when we got home, we realized they were Dutch rather than French. Seems like a silly difference, but it's a strict rule at the dance studio. Sadly, we had to take the braids out and have them redone by a friend. I contacted Leela to let her know as we had another appointment with her scheduled for a few days later and asked if she could do French braids. I sent her a picture of the style, and I never heard back from her. I felt like this was pretty unprofessional seeing as how I wasn't trying to get a refund and was still willing to go back if she was able to do the French braids. Again, great quality of work, just turned off by the lack of professionalism. read more

Had a wonderful experience with Jasmin. She was able to fit me in last minute after my appointment was canceled elsewhere. She was kind and I was so grateful for the accommodation. I got 2 Dutch braids with feed in and love them. I'll be back, Thank you! read more

I have been meaning to leave a review for several months. I had a very strange haircut awhile back from a salon in Marin county and needed to deal with the situation. today was my first time using this place and I am so happy! My birthday is 12/28 and my partner who I haven't seen in four months is coming out and I wanted to look perfect. my friend who usually does my hair had to cancel last minute (no biggie) and then an hour later my makeup person cancelled for my bday make up so I felt defeated. I messaged the studio Monday and they were able to get me in today Friday 12/24 for some box braids. Hair turned out amazing, my braider was AMAZING, and I have to say being able to watch Sister Sister made the time go by quick. I am so happy to find a place so close to where I live. read more

I've been a loyal client for 12 years .Jasmin is always very professional, knowledgeable and she stays current on all things pertaining to hair. Over the years I've watched her do women, little girls, and men's hair. She also carries a line of superior quality Real Human hair. Jasmin has created a line of hair maintenance products that's really helped my hair and other clients as well. For many years She has volunteered her services to a Santa Rosa nonprofit organization. read more

Jasmine has done my sister and I's hair for about 12 years (we have wavy ethnic hair). My mother (very fine stick-straight hair) has been a client for 8 years and there is no one we trust more! She can work with any hair type. Braids, extensions, cut, color, keratin treatment etc, she does it all and does it well! There has never been a time I've left the salon not satisfied. One thing I love: she will asses your hair and give you an honest opinion. She genuinely wants to give her clients hair what it needs even if the bill may be less. Great person (she's a riot) and brilliant stylist are why my family has continued to return. read more

Called to ask the price of a trim. The person I was calling for told me they get a trim that usually takes 10 - 20 minutes, so I included that information to help her understand what I was looking for. Her voice got angry the rest of the call. I don't know if she thought I was trying to insult her or what, but it was an uncomfortable, unprofessional call. She told me the price of the service, and after i said thank you, she ended the call with a 'for sure.' The personnel should check their behavior, even with phone inquiries. People can hear your anger, no matter what words you use, and it's bad customer service. read more

My hair looks amazing!! It was worth every penny. Experienced hair professionals who are conscientious about using high quality hair products are hard to find!! read more

Jasmin has been caring my hair for almost 13 years now. I intentionally use the word "caring" because that is what Jasmin does for hair; she cares for it. Some individuals in the profession are only concerned with making a client's hair look good regardless of the toll it will take, and Jasmin is one of the rare hair care professionals who isn't simply interested in making a "quick buck" or latching on to the latest trend. She listens to her clients, but she is also very concerned with with the overall health of her clients' hair. As a black woman who has transitioned from chemical processing, I'm still disappointed by the fact that there are few professionals who either know how to or desire to care for natural hair. Jasmin's range of skill and expertise is unrivaled (and I should note that her career spans nearly twenty years). Whether you are relaxed, natural, weaved, colored, braided or anywhere in between, Jasmin has the talent and skillset to suit your hair care needs. And she does it all very well. Jasmin cares for all hair textures and ethnic backgrounds, and this is the truth. There is not a hair texture that Jasmin cannot care for. Some stylists say this and don't mean it. This amazing woman has spent countless hours detangling and braiding my natural hair (rather than ripping through it with a brush and a blowdryer as others would do) to preserve the integrity and health of my hair. (NOTE: She does not braid tight, ladies!) In addition to being an expert professional, Jasmin is also a wonderful human being, and I've had the pleasure of also being able to call her one of my dearest friends for many years. She has a huge heart, and her beautiful smile and hilarious personality make her an absolute joy to be around. read more

For people of mixed race, learning how to do your hair correctly is an uphill battle. I have curly hair, and my mom has very straight blonde hair. She had no idea how to style my curly hair naturally....leading to many embarrassing moments throughout my adolescence. For people who faced similar struggles, Jasmin is a godsend. She helped me by picking out hair products that are actually good for my curly hair and showing how to properly style my curls. She also did my hair for my wedding...truly a one stop shop read more

Jasmin is a very talented stylist. She does a variety of hair types, including mine which can be very difficult, it being "mixed" hair and very complicated when it chooses to be. She has been doing my hair for over 15 years and I wouldn't change my stylist for anyone. Nice people and comfortable environment. read more

I went to Jasmines studio a couple days ago to get my afro shaped and cut, I left the salon a very happy girl! Jasmine shampoo, conditioned, and cut my hair all for a really great deal. I had been going to a very expensive, very flaky curly-hair-only stylist in Oakland, and when she finally flaked for good I was afraid of the bad haircuts I was going to get until I found someone good again. Four years later, I could not be happier my flaky Oakland stylist flaked for good. I never got any crummy haircuts in a search for a good stylist. I immediately found Jasmin, have always gotten really lovely haircuts, and have always been treated with the utmost kindness and professionalism. The salon is clean, pleasant, and comfortable. Curly girls and guys, Jasmin is for you! read more
