I think this hairstylist is the most unprofessional individual I've interacted with to date. I don't even have the energy to rehash How absurd and out of line this individual was today, However I have screen shots of the text feed and voicemail dictation from t-mobile. At no time is it ever OK to harass a potential client For simply asking for more reference photos and/or clarity. A simple let me get back to you in an hour or so would have sufficed, But instead Received several missed calls and a scathing voicemail from said stylist. I contacted Multicultural Hair Studio to do some French braids for my daughters who are competitive dancers. The hairstyle is particular and important. Leela did absolutely beautiful braids on both of my daughters, however when we got home, we realized they were Dutch rather than French. Seems like a silly difference, but it's a strict rule at the dance studio. Sadly, we had to take the braids out and have them redone by a friend. I contacted Leela to let her know as we had another appointment with her scheduled for a few days later and asked if she could do French braids. I sent her a picture of the style, and I never heard back from her. I felt like this was pretty unprofessional seeing as how I wasn't trying to get a refund and was still willing to go back if she was able to do the French braids. Again, great quality of work, just turned off by the lack of professionalism. read more

My birthday is 12/28 and my partner who I haven't seen in four months is coming out and I wanted to look perfect. my friend who usually does my hair had to cancel last minute (no biggie) and then an hour later my makeup person cancelled for my bday make up so I felt defeated. The person I was calling for told me they get a trim that usually takes 10 - 20 minutes, so I included that information to help her understand what I was looking for. Her voice got angry the rest of the call. I don't know if she thought I was trying to insult her or what, but it was an uncomfortable, unprofessional call. She told me the price of the service, and after i said thank you, she ended the call with a 'for sure.' The personnel should check their behavior, even with phone inquiries. People can hear your anger, no matter what words you use, and it's bad customer service. read more
