Had my cataract removed earlier this month. The experience could not have been more impressive. The staff was kind and considerate from beginning to end. The Doctors and Nurses were knowledgeable. The Doctors are great, but their business practices are lacking. I have been to their Frankfort office 5 times and have waited an average of an hour and a half to see the doctor. The usual excuse is "other patients". That tough to buy when you have an 8:30 AM appointment. read more

I had cataract surgery for both eyes in February and March, prior to surgery you have a consultation that breaks down the process and pricing. You schedule your surgery and from there I would be contacted of the amount of surgery for both eyes and any amount I would have to pay out of pocket to cover both eyes. I was then advised for the first eye the amount I had to bring the day of surgery, around 1500.00, and the remainder for the second surgery. After the first surgery I had to pay 100.00 cash for the eye medicine since my insurance did not cover. And mind you, I had to purchase a second one for the second eye. Now, when I had the initial consultation I was given several follow up appointments and had asked the one of the ladies at the front desk if I had to pay the co-pay for all the follow ups. She stepped away and came back and stated there would no copays. Had my second eye surgery, paid the final balance due. I made my follow up appoints except the last one. Now I'm receiving a bill saying I OWE $542.93! WHY?!! I paid my full balance due in cash and now you're saying I still owe you! This is highway robbery and like to know what am I being charged for if I paid my bill in full! read more

I had Cataract surgery with IOL in both my left eye and right eye. Because I was an O.R. nurse, I expected some kind of pain even under sedation. I did not have any pain at all and I could see after the surgery !!!!!! It feels wonderful to not need glasses for reading and driving . Dr. Multack is very professional and incredibly knowledgeable. He is just an amazing surgeon. Multack Eye Care staff are courteous, professional and patient friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Multack to my family, friends and colleagues. Dr. Sam Multack is an amazing ophthalmologist who I highly recommend. I had cataract surgery and opted for vision correcting, interocular lenses. It is wonderful to not need glasses for distance or for reading. Dr. Multack was incredibly thorough, exacting a really great guy. He explained everything in detail. I could tell from the start that this man is an outstanding surgeon. His staff was very professional and treated me like family. On August 15, 2023 at 9:45am we arrived for my mother's scheduled appointment which was confirmed the day before for 10:10am. We checked in and was told that our appointment was at 9:30am which we were confused because our card said 10:10am. We were told we were late and we had to reschedule. My mom who is a heart patient, disabled on a walker and 85 years old began to cry in frustration and asked since we were there could be some accommodations. We were told No and after complaining the lady said cancel our appointment "We don't want to be bothered" l told the lady that she needed sensitivity training because she was extremely aggressive and rude. She jumped out her chair and was acting like she was going to jump across the counter. She said I don't need any training. I told her that she was a racist and she was talking condescending because l was Black. Her coworker had to hold her back and send her to the back of the office because she was basically threatening to jump on me. No apology was offered and l was told that if l didn't like the service to go somewhere else because we were no longer welcome there. As a result of the aggression, Olympia Fields police was call and a complaint was filed. Also, l contacted her PCP to be referred to another office. My mom has been a patient for at least 2 years and the same rude lady was disrespectful while making an appointment previously. The front desk staff and clinic staff and even Dr Sighn was rude when my mom asked about getting cataract surgery. At this point my mom is afraid that there will be retaliation if she agrees to the surgery. I don't recommend this office to any human being especially the elderly because the staff is heartless and just plain mean!!! read more

I was referred to Multack Eye Care Center by my aunt who had cataracts removed from her eye. Although Dr. Sam Multack had a tight schedule his office fit me in right away. I like that they only allow a 15 min window and then you have to reschedule. As soon as I walked in I was called back. The office staff moves very very fast. They talk and answer questions fast so if you dont like fast talkers then you may be overwhelmed. I give the office 4 stars because of the fast pace. My visit Multack Eye Care was for cataracts. I first met with Dr. Pullman and she informed I had cataracts. She was very informative and has a wonderful bedside manner. My next steps was to meet with Dr. Multack. He informed me of the option for my cataract surgery. Dr. Multack is very professional and very detailed oriented. My surgery was great. The day of my surgery, I was able to see clearly and was able to go back to work the next day. It was a tremendous success for me. I give this organization a 5 star. Not only was the staff professional and courteous but more importantly, my surgery great and my vison is amazing. It was everything that Dr. Multack suggested. He said my surgery would give me(sharper vison and visual vibrant colors. My sight is so clear and the color are so brilliant. I had no after surgery complications.
