She is knowledgeable, helpful, caring and friendly. I totally believe she loves her job, and gets to know her customers and their needs. When I go in there looking for something I always go to Sylvia first. She then tells me if they have it, and where it is located on the lot. If they don't have it she sees to it that it is ordered, and will even contact me when it comes in. I truly like her, and her helpful and caring customer service. Since I am a beginner Beekeeper, and love to grow much of my own vegetables, I show her some pics of what I am doing or looking for, which helps her to serve my needs better. I also find that the nursery has a tremendous selection of items that me or any novice gardener would desire or need. As a Marine Sgt. Veteran, they also give me a discount on every purchase I make. I like the way these folks do business, and I trust we will have several more years together, as I am beginning to to get some age on me, like a fine wine. Ray S.

It seems to me that the people who work there definitely know their botany as it shows in the glowing health of every plant they care for. I'd say the only downside is at least the day I went, there weren't a lot of staff readily available so if you had a question, you might have to track someone down, however someone was quick to meet us at checkout. I can't wait to go back again! I only bought a McColley's Finale philodendron this round and it does look absolutely amazing in my white's tree frog enclosure.

Look elsewhere for much better grass. I got crap sod from K & K!…read more Over time, and through multiple lawn care services my beautiful, thick St Augustine back lawn became riddled with Bermuda. This year I decided to spend roughly $4500 to have the old grass taken up and fresh, new St Augustine sod laid down. The landscaper I selected for this work chose to go with K&K for the sod. We began watering the new sod exactly per the recommendations of the landscaper, and within a couple of days I had a THICK blanket of G-D Clover in my back yard! Where I didn't have clover I was starting to see F-ing Bermuda showing!! I called the landscaper to complain about both the Clover and the Bermuda showing up and he got in contact with K & K. In the meantime, I Googled eliminating Clover from St Augustine. The online advice I got for dealing with the Clover, as it turns out, is not good for the sod. But that's a moot point. You can see in the pictures I post here that the Bermuda has taken over most of where the St Augustine should be....and there is STILL Clover, AND other weeds!! K & K is not manning up and taking the high road to resolve this situation! To make this right the landscaper is getting me new sod from an outfit here in League City called EDS Landscaping. K & K needs to get off their asses and make this right instead of my landscaper and I have to eat their shit grass!!
