    Splash Pad
    Katherine A.

Splash pad, playground, pavilions, basketball court, trail, natural prairie, soccer fields, sledding hill, restrooms and more. What's not to love! This is a great little park nestled between the schools and neighborhoods in Zionsville. The grounds are immaculate and manicured. The playground has climbing structures, swings with mulch underneath. Some of the swings are designed for special needs. The playground requires adult supervision and there are many benches to sit and watch the kids. The splash pad was not operating during our visit but looks fun with themed sprayers. There is a little stomping creek adjacent to the splash pad. The restrooms were clean and unisex. On one side of the park is a prairie restoration project which is attracting many birds. We saw yellow finches during our visit. A trail crosses the park that connects to local trail system. There were lots of dog walkers and runners using the trail. There is limited parking on site but plenty of parking at the nearby middle school. The grounds are mostly accessible for special needs and strollers. We will be back.

Great park! Just went on a very hot Sunday and was pleasantly surprised to find the splash pad completely empty. Had a lot of great water features in it, my son LOVED it! Also have a a cute man made "creek" right next to the pad to play in as well. Playground is nice as well and ample parking.

My niece and I love to run the hill at the far side of the park. A good workout, regardless of age.

I find myself with four young girls who are active and like to play. Mulberry Fields fit the bill for all our fun fitness endeavors. Play park with places to climb, swing sets, water park element, big open fields, walking path, restrooms, shaded picnic table areas, large parking lot, etc. My nieces seem to love the giant hill on the far side of the field to run and play games on. But as an adult that is an athlete, that hill is a great HIIT workout to encompass into my daily routines. The field itself is so big, you could have a family baseball or soccer game with tons of room to spare. Mulberry Park is connected just right across to the street to the Big-4 Rail Trail system in Zionsville, so via on foot or bike, the park can easily be reached. The park seems super safe and there is lots of space to everyone.

Wow, wow, WOW! I've heard tell about the splash pad at Mulberry Fields, but I had no idea it was so amazing! The splash pad is actually two areas: one is a regular splash pad, and the other is a shallow area with rocks and puddles and trickling water. The natural splash pad is my favorite, because it's like going creek stomping! It's really, really shallow -- most of it doesn't even reach your ankles, so it's perfect for babies and young kids. There are lots of rocks that kids can move and build with and toss into the water. (Just be careful and make sure they don't throw them at other kids!) The runoff from the regular splash pad trickles into this natural one, so there is a constant flow of water. It is so cool -- I'm not even doing justice describing it. The regular splash pad is also neat, and it's so varied, with small misters and fountains and fun things to run through. There's a water feature for every age! The splash pad and water area are reason enough to visit during the summer, but there are other great things about the park. One is that the picnic area is right in between the splash pad area and the playground, and it's super shaded. So you can park yourself at a picnic table and be able to see your kid playing pretty much wherever they are. There are lots of benches available for sitting, too (very important). The other is that it doesn't seem to get too crowded here, which is nice.

Skatepark is pretty small and doesn't flow great- at least at my skill level. Can't complain about the hours or the fact that it is free.

I had tried every version I could buy on Amazon and none of them fit. My 9 year old got me into skateboard a few years back. I recently got some decks second hand and needed trucks, bearings, and hardware too. They had everything I needed in stock for almost the same price as online. I was super stoked to get everything same day in their skate shop and also happy I found a helmet that actually fit! Got to take a look inside the park, very excited to try it out with my kids. Great experience, highly recommend you take the time to stop and check them out. You won't regret it. ¡Guau! No te arrepentirás.

It is a very well maintained park and is home to a small skate park with a ramp, steps and rails. There is also a decent sized playground that is lined with wood chips. Some of the playground's equipment includes a metal slide (oucchhh), a bank of worn traditional/toddler swings, a see-saw, a tunnel tube, a balance board, a climbing tree, and standing spinner. The equipment is older for the most part, but is still in pretty decent shape. You will also find a large black top near the back of the park that has a small shelter with a couple of picnic tables under it. The black top also has 2 half basketball courts. The black top is in fair condition. The park has a small black top area between the playground and the skate area that can be used to play hopscotch, four square or other blacktop games. The park has a few green space areas that could be used for pick up football games, soccer matches, or have a picnic. There are 3, decent baseball fields on the parks back perimeter. They appear to be used for the towns little league teams and not actually part of the park. I will admit, this is not a destination park, but is a cool place to visit if you are in the area looking for a place to hang out. It was a nice day during my visit and I found the park very peaceful (minus the kids at the nearby school yelling while they were playing at recess).

It is managed by the Zionsville Lions Club and looks like a park that keeps adding on. It has three playground areas. The playground area in the back of the park is the newest. It is geared towards younger kids and has a bank of swings, a small mock store and a small jungle gym with a tiny slide. It is lined with a rubbery surface and is mud free. The two up front are more traditional. One side you will find a small, but newer jungle gym with 2 slides, a larger jungle gym with 2 slides, 3 see-saws, a curved balance beams, a couple of sit and spins, a tire swing, a special needs and toddle swing, a dino-monkey bar set, and a pebble bridge. Across from this area is where you will find the third playground area which has a bank of traditional swings, an awesome saucer merry-go-round, a little house, a large jungle gym, and two see-saws. You will also see a little rocker animal and a small dino-monkey bar set over there too. Both of those playground areas are lined with wood chips and they have picnic tables placed along their perimeters. The park has 9 awesome baseball fields two lighted full basketball courts (different sizes though for some reason) and two lighted tennis courts and a pickle ball court. The courts are well maintained and look great. The park offers some scenic walking/jogging along its running trail and has a picturesque gazebo as its center piece. I saw one picnic shelter there, near the creek, that can be rented and a bathroom facility near the traditional playground areas. There is also a sand volleyball court along the creek by the shelter. The 1.1 mile Eagle Creek Walk runs through this park and the park has its own paved pathway that connects to it. The park has been known to host the city's EGGnormous Egg Hunt on the Saturday before Easter, the 4th of July Fireworks, the Sunday Concert Series in July, and the Pumpkins & Hayrides event. This park is actually one that you would drive to come to. It has a lot to offer and has something for everyone. Dogs are welcome, but have to remain on a leash. It is a gorgeous park with the gazebo, bridges and running along Eagle Creek. They have a large parking lot and every amenity that a park can have. This is definitely worth checking out.
