The Friendly Tap is a place that sounds like there's tons of suds. For sure there is but most of it's in bottles and cans, which is ironic. You can find a few things to eat, and there's often a special going on, so check the boards for these. Basically it's a place to have beers. It's what most people here seem to get. There's quite a lot but only a few of these are on tap. Mostly it's bottles and cans. There's also an okay amount of liquor. It's about $3 for the cheapest cocktails. These are the basic whiskey and whatever. Food menu is mostly the fried stuff like fries. On Wednesdays there's a taco theme going on. A bit more variety in the food. It's about $2.50 to get Chips And Salsa, and about $3 a taco. For sure it's not authentic. The cheap prices are why it's popular. Has a mostly accurate name, even for those who aren't friends of the employees. It's one of the many bars around here. This is because there's not much to do around here but get drunk and eat the sketchy tacos, but it's cheap so whatever.

Got to try 11 of them and each one was smooth and it was like drinking juices. All of them had great flavor and some had fun unique twists. To start out with, they had a busy night, between Frank Senatra night where their live entertainment was great, it was also homecoming, so the place was packed, which wasnt a bother as they also have quieter outdoor seating (just have to watch out for the bugs! ) The food came out in droves as one of our guys at the table decided to go down the list and order one of each of the appetizers, (note: we were only a table of 5) all of which were pretty great. My favorite probably was the salmon bruchetta followed up by the seasonal burrata! However, some of the guys devoured the chips & goods while the wings dissappeared so fast. Killing most of the appetizers, we moved onto the main course. I got the apple brie flatbread which was really good and sweet. The carmalized onions paired with the melty bri and fresh apples very well. While another friend ended up woth their watermelon feta salad which was pretty decent. We were promptly seated , perused an excellent food menu, served efficiently and had a great overall experience!! The ambiance is lovely and demonstrates outstanding adaptive reuse of buildings. Prices - Considering how expensive many bowling alleys have become, their bowling prices are very reasonable at $4 to $4.25 per game depending on if it's a weekday or weekend. They have bowling shoe rental ($2.50) as well but the pair I received should have been thrown out 20 years ago. Their loaner bowling balls are very old and beat up as well, full of dings and gouges in many of the balls. As far as the lanes themselves, YIKES! Step back into the 80s as if the lanes were never resurfaced since this place opened. Lanes are full of dents, warped and in bad shape. It's perfect to take little kids who can't bowl and are just looking for some fun for them. Definitely not a place for serious bowlers.
