New Owner is awesome. Great customer service, quick work. I had a brake line split, it got fluid all over the brakes and rotor. Since the previous owners had worked on my brakes a few months ago, they replaced the rotors and brake pads for free and had me back safely on the road in a little over an hour. Last summer I took my daughters Jeep Liberty to Muffler Man, told them it needed a lower ball joint replaced, they trued telling it was something else, few days later thank God it broke as she was backing out of a parking spot at her apartment complex and not driving on the road, she was few months pregnant, on Aug 16, 2024 I had decided to give them another chance, took my other daughters 2010 Impala in for stiff steering, they told me it needed a new steering pump, so I ok'd them to replace, now the car had a small oil leak, they took the car on a test drive after replacing steering pump and found the engine cradle just covered in oil, now I have no clue what's leaking, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Business read more

It's been 3 weeks to fix a noise, mechanic called and said we need to replace some parts. $1200 later, noise still exists. The parts were inspected and not worn. Hence the parts didn't need to be changed. Car taken and left somewhere we didn't authorize It to be sitting and car has missing items valued at over $150 dollars. Still waiting to have a resolution be reimbursed and get the car fixed. I'm very curious as to how this will be rectified. Throughout the years, Muffler Man has had multiple changes in management/owners. I don't understand that at all. since January 2021, they again are under new ownership. After my experience today, I won't go back. First, they need phone manners and secondly, call the customer within a reasonable timeframe to let them know what's wrong and provide an estimate. read more

I ran over a stick last week, and it made my muffler sound funny. No problem, I thought, I live next to the Muffler Man. Today I took the car in, 75 dollars for the exhaust, he says, 115 to flush and diagnose my AC Got a call back this afternoon - everything is done, but they now need my consent to diagnose the AC, which has completely failed since this morning. They need my consent, because they need to charge me 80 dollars per hour of labor for the AC diagnosis (no mention of repair cost). I was told the earlier flush was as good as useless, since I had not been told about or consented to the base hourly fee. So they broke my AC, told me it was because they didn't ask for enough money up front, then asked for more money while I stared at them in disbelief. 1/10 read more

This place is a complete joke. My daughter took her trailblazer in for an estimate on brakes. They gave her an estimate of almost $800 (Had a bad A-arm/sway bar). She told them that it seemed high so she went to pick up the vehicle and will not go into reverse. They told my daughter "Well the guy that worked on it got fired". So I went up there fuming and they told me "We never touched the vehicle, we only raised it up on a lift and put it back down. HA HA Are you F#$%^&* kidding me? These people are pathetic, tried ripping my daughter off and has totally screwed her vehicle up. I also had another friend (Female) go up there with her vehicle. She said it was chugging like it was a fuel problem. Muffler Man quoted her $700+ for a new fuel pump. She thought that was high so she took it to Timlick's in Corunna and it cost her $40 for a new fuel filter. DO NOT take your vehicle to this place...... read more

My husband broke down at the Shell gas station across the road and Joe saw him tinkering under the hood and offered some help. I want to thank the guys at Muffler Man for doing a great job on my Mom's car. It was leaking antifreeze from the lower intake manifold gaskets. I know from experience that this is a pretty big job on it's own. When they completed, not only did they fix both upper & lower manifold gaskets but changed out the water pump, new plugs, wires, cap, spark plugs as well as an oil & filter change. When first quoted the price to me, it was very reasonable for amount of work needed & there was no mention about the water pump & oil change. They just decided to do that on their own for the same price to ensure she had no further problems. Since I'm way out here in El Paso, TX and not that familiar with Owosso repair shops, I was a bit worried at first where she could get her car repaired but this turned out to be such great service at Muffler Man of Owosso!
