I am unsure of the motivation for treating customers so coldly. Maybe it is unusual for a dad to bring their kid in to this store to look at toys and clothes. I received a gift and went to exchange the gift. I wasn't aware that there was a time limit for exchanges, and this was no problem because most stores have this practice. Once again, I understood their return policy and didn't question the policy at all. But the lack of sensitivity is what I question. I wanted the gift simply because someone gave it to me, and the store employee kept my receipt. Lastly, the store is overpriced for the products. Cute little whatnots...but not for me.

An audible gasp pierced through the festival xmas music .... children, staff, and their shoppers…read moredirected their senses to the sound of alarm or possible danger.... to their relief (deo volente).... it was just EYE!! And and! THERE ..it was.... THE December Diamond's OG vintage Santa pink mug+spoon .. in the FLESH?! I'm a New Yorker, it had been the longest since I've gotten to revisit old friends in the south. I was just mosey around really. But anyways the retro and pinks Christmas theme has been a hit for the two years, and on going. Go on Amazon or any easily assessable retailers like TJMAX and you will not find THE December Diamond's Santa mug & spoon in vintage Santa PINK, ex: this particular mug on Amazon had no reputable purchases or and it's a lot more expensive than how much it is at itty bitty!! December diamonds came out with 2 versions of this model, pink and red. The red is chopped liver. I know you see the pink Santa everything everywhere but Decembers Diamond is ACTUALLY what Kris Kringle looks like, I've seen so many pink Santa mugs everywhere for an arm and leg and they be doing Santa so dirty, it looks like he has several palsy or something. It had been over 5 years since I visited Memphis. I live in New York. And my 2 best girlfriend's daughters are getting older and while I send them things each year I don't want them to forget me. Matter of fact, I'm complimenting taking one of my girlfriends to court for shared custody bc I love those babies so much. Apparently they aren't the only things that are changing here, when I think of Memphis only brick and mortar store for children back then was Gymboree? I mean the most important thing other than seeing my babies was go to cracked barrel . Anyways where was I, Oh yes, back to the store. I didn't even know what it was called actually I just wanted to mosey around and gravitated towards it bc I was drawn to the visual displays at the window. Not to mention my blood sugar was at a stable level when I spotted... the free freshly baked cookies & coffee (?!!) they neatly offered at a corner. . Next a *PINK refrigerator* (?!!?) for water bottles. (Yes my RHOA nene leaks was activated. ;)* Not to mention they even carried NOODLE & BOO?! Noodle & Boo?! I am spinster but I use noodle & boo for my cat stroller and their products for my gentle delicates. In New York, noodle & boo you can only get if you order it from Saks Fifth or Amazon, bear in mind the inflation and embargo taxes onto the island of Manhattan is not for the faint of heart. BUT it was SOOOO NICE to have the experience of able to just get it in person... *sigh* *The fine print at the bottom* This message and its contexts is NOT the directors cut. A trailer of my experience. Unfortunately I am unable to complete the rest of my experience in the store, if I did I would turn into my dissertation and I'd be Dr. Area G. ..PhD! And in a world where most people just email or send a Facebook message, finding a piece of fun mail is even more special. This is why I love Mrs. Post. Mrs. Post is a brand new stationery and gift store in East Memphis. And while you're grandma will be excited to receive one of their cute letterpress cards from you, there's nothing stuffy about the shop. Before they opened Mrs. Post, owners Lindsey Cross and Natalie Ellis-Chang designed a line of wholesale paper products called Lemon Tree Paper. They've got about 400 pieces, and each one is printed locally. All of the Lemon Tree Paper invitations, cards, and notes are available at Mrs. Post. My favorite thing about the shop was the small, but well thought out collection of gifts. There's a lot of whimsy in a small space. I was totally smitten with the Jonathan Adler whale shaped salt and pepper shakers and the surprise balls (the package reads "to enjoy, please destroy"). They've also got candles, baby booties and party decorations you'll want to leave up well after the fun is over.
