Muelle 37 - My dads favorite Red Snapper - Seafood Near Me - Harlingen, Texas

I was hungry and decided to stop by before going to the thrift next door. This place is small, they played good music and we were sat quickly. Our server was great, he kept up with refills and making sure we were good throughout our meal. We chose two different plates and both dishes were delicious. This is a great seafood spot. read more

My family and I had an uncomfortable experience here. One of the female employees kept staring at my dad for an extended period of time and repeatedly walked by our table while continuing to look at him. It made my family feel very uncomfortable and took away from what should have been an enjoyable visit. I hope management addresses this so other customers can feel comfortable during their time here. it was a girl she had a bun on and she was tall. read more

Terrible food and terrible service. Would not go back. Only went because we had no choice and someone else picked it. We picked up pizza on the way home because the food here was so bad. Not to mention, we waited an hour to be seated and spent a lot of money. No thanks! Only gave 1 star because I couldn't give zero. read more

Only reason this place gets 3 stars from me is because their michelada was so on point, but after that...it all went downhill. My fried shrimp was cold and the middle parts of my fish were not even warm. Their fries were soggy and tasted like they had been sitting all day. Not sure what people see or taste when they review this place, it's not it. Service was pretty good and visiting with family was awesome...to reach their own. Also, when singing for customers, do they have to blast the music so loud? LOL read more

We went for lunch after church today and Jr did an incredible job of taking care of our orders and extra needs. Everything came out on time and created as expected. We will be back. I have to change my ranking to 2 stars. I have been there a total of 4 times and I have to say that 2 times the food was great and 2 times the food was not that great. But they are not consistent with there fish. The time it was good was because I believe it was catfish. The times that it is not good is they served tilapia, that fish is dry. I understand it's your business and you can serve what you want. But let the customer know when that you probably ran out of catfish and you substituted it with tilapia. Remember if the food is good the customer will come and eat. If it is not good we put it here so customer will know also. I will consider some where else to eat seafood at this point read more

My husband and I just moved here from the west coast. If you are used to WEST coast food and looking for that flavor you wont find it here. I had the cocktail and my husband had their combo plate. The cocktail just felt to thick and tasted of tomato. I thinned the broth with the soup they give you when you sit and added lime. To be fair you wont find that here in south Texas, I have the same review to give to multiple locations that we have tried when we first moved here as we had no kitchen to cook in for about 2 weeks. The service was great and the vibe was fine to. Clean place, we may try again, but just not our typical flavor. read more

What a fun seafood restaurant this is!!! Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, the great, prompt and friendly service; plus the delicious entrees, appetizers and luncheon choices. After a positive recommendation I only thought it was right to give this restaurant a try. My expectations were moderate, and the delivery was poor. Receiving my order I almost thought I was being pranked, (since today is April Fools), paying $15.99 for this plate. At the end of the day, I should've just gotten a filet-o-fish. read more

The service was spectacular, the waiter was very on top of everything & was fast. But the food wasn't up to par for a seafood restaurant, as you would expect. The ceviche, the guacamole, and other plates we ordered seemed to need a lot of salt. It didn't have much flavor. Everything was just ok.. read more

Muelle 37 - a plate of food on a table - Seafood Near Me - Harlingen, Texas

The service was not good. The waiter never came back to check on us. Had to wave him down. The Food is really good. But the service was bad. I ordered #2 plate. Fish and shrimp. I asked for dipping sauce. At the end find out it was $2.50. for that small less than an ounce of sauce. Spoke the manger and she didn't give any response.she stood there making faces. Totally unprofessional. Customer service very bad. That why I give it one star. The food is good but not worth it because of Bad customer service.. read more

Don't go if u can't speak Spanish fluently. Was there yesterday, Tuesday, at 5:30. The young man/host said he spoke no English. After staring at us for a few seconds, he got a lady who spoke English. We told her we were just wanting to get something to drink and look at the menu but had already eaten. She acted confused so we asked what types of beer did they have, we could see a large ice chest filled with several choices but weren't allowed to walk over to it as just trying to be seated. She said you just want to drink beer? I said yes and she stared at us again so we said that's okay and walked out. A group of us, typically 8 or more, go to lunch weekly and it could be a good place to support......nope. read more

I thought this place was very good. It is mainly seafood. They start you with chips, verde salsa, refried beans, and limes. The starters were great. I ordered the Pier 37. The meal was huge. The fish fillets were breaded well and tasted fresh. The shrimp were grilled and delicious. The shrimp cocktail was very good. It has cilantro, avocado, cocktail sauce, and lots of shrimp - very delicious. It also came with fries, onion rings, white rice, and a normal looking salad. The fries were very good. The onion rings were tasty, but weren't anything too crazy I didn't think. The rice was rice. The salad was the only thing I wasn't hot about. It seemed out of place and didn't look the best. Cut that and this plate was 5 stars. It probably could've been 5 anyway. Overall, it was clean and the food was very good and fresh. Our server was quick and nice! read more

Great authentic Mexican dishes. Staff was very nice and the place was well kept. One person in our group got the shrimp tacos, and those weren't the best as they were crazy greasy. But all of the other dishes turned out good! read more

Muelle 37 - Tilapia Fritos - Seafood Near Me - Harlingen, Texas

I don't understand how people give this place 4 stars and above. I wanted some seafood and this place is bad no flavor at all. We tried several items and no flavor the only thing that had some flavor was the hot sauce and beans. My problem also you call yourself a seafood place but you main item is Tilapia to me is not a good fish. I was excited to try it out because of all the different fish they have on walls and saying all there fist come from the Gulf. read more

We visited this place for the first time today. Food was good. Service was a little slow. Has a bright Applebee's appearance. The clientele was mostly under 35. I believe we were the only non Spanish speaking patrons. Menu is in Spanish and our waitress spoke limited English. The reason for the 3 star is due to their credit card machine being out of service. If the staff would have told us prior to eating that we could not pay with a credit or debit card we would not have eaten. Luckily after scrounging around my wife found a $50 bill stashed in her wallet. I guess we could have washed dishes. Never should a place of business allow customers to order and eat prior to letting them know their credit card machine is out of service. read more

Absolutely yummy!!! Love their fried fish and shrimp, they are not over battered and have delicious flavor! Love the fact that you can pretty much customize your plate to your liking. The homemade lemonade is delectable! read more

Well ,, the shrimp were good but the battered fried fish didn't taste too good .. it was a bit overpriced..
