Stopped by Mudhook for a pre-New Year's Eve afternoon, and while the place has potential, it fell short in a few areas. They do offer Happy Hour, but the food selection is very limited with only four items. I tried the half-order beef nachos (topped with onion and tomato). They weren't terrible, but they lacked flavor and didn't really give nachos vibes. I wouldn't order them again. Next were the Happy Hour beef sliders--cooked well, but again, needed more seasoning. The standout were the Boneless buffalo wings. They were actually good and the highlight of the food . For drinks, I had the Lavender & Honey coffee. It was okay, nothing memorable. Overall, before giving a full stamp of approval, I'd need to revisit and see if things improve. The potential is there but it just hasn't fully landed yet. read more

If you are into small sports bars with outdoor patios, then this is for you. There are tvs on the walls with the games on. It's a bit loud, which is expected so be mindful if loud isn't your jam. I'm curious about the coffee bar they offer during breakfast hours. Now onto the food and service. We weren't greeted, but that's whatever. We found a waitress and were told sit wherever you like. That's fine too. The area we chose to sit in had unfortunately not been cleaned well. Tables (with children and large parties) were still with mess and dishes. Crumbs, crayons and trash was on the floor. Clean up seemed a bit slow. The waitress was pretty prompt on attending to our table. Can't recall if she repeated it back but we pointed to the items as it was loud. Drinks come-correct! Wings-not correct. My food came-grey course hair upon the paper. Waitress corrected both issues. A man (who didn't introduce himself) came to the table asking how everything was. I had to ask/guess who he was. Still no acknowledgment of the situation unless no one told him. (He has gray course beard hair) i mention to him about the hair and i received a seemingly joking "haha ya i heard about that. Sorry about that." Nothing was compt'd. So do with that what you will. The crowd was cool. Food was fine but nothing i would hype up to try. Maybe I'll check the Happy hour or coffee bar and feel differently. read more

We went on a Saturday afternoon at approximately 2. They were busy, by not crowded. The bar staff greeted us as we entered & told us to sit any where. As soon as we sat down, our waitress was there with waters & menus. She answered all our questions and made great recommendations. The burgers were cooked as ordered & the truffle fries were amazing! Our son loved the boneless wings, which were really chicken strips! We sat near the windows, but my husband loved that he could watch sports at the bar from where we were. We can't wait to return, once the weather is nice, to sit at the outdoor area! We got an order of carmel filled churros for later! They were delicious, even reheated at home! read more

I will never visit this restaurant again. My friends and I came to have drinks here in a Sunday night. The drinks were great! Our waitress was nice but everytime she came to check on us the convo and info she gave was very strange and something a patron would not like to hear. I'll give and example later. We ordered a few apps such as truffle fries, Brussel sprouts, fried pickles but after waiting for those the waitress came back and said oh we are out of pickles. So we added fried cauliflower. Those items were ok. We also added wings and a mushroom and bean burger. As we ordered the burger our waitress says "oh the patties are actually patties today!So hopefully you all enjoy it." Huh? The wings were raw and covered in lemon pepper seasoning. The bean patty was extremely spicy, like someone mistook the cayenne and paprika In the recipe. We asked to speak to the manager and the chef came out with a cup of who knows what in his hands and very casually said "well someone else said that today but I only have 2 more left." My friend is a chef and I was screaming at her in my thoughts to let him have it. Overall this was not good. Go at your own risk as it didn't make me feel very good afterwards. read more

A few minutes later a waitress with a tone asked if we had a reservation which I didn't know was needed for this event. After that I had no desire to give any support to this restaurant. We when their for lunch I order a taco salad and my sister got a brisket sandwich it was a lot of fat ends and barely any meat. She didn't like hers. My taco salad was delicious. My sister also had fried green tomatoes, those were OK. Upon arrival, the servers were friendly and pleasant. The restaurant was clean the customers were pleasant as well! The atmosphere is nice but the food was terrible. Chewy, rubbery chicken. Nothing tastes fresh, it's probably all prepackaged frozen food. I found a piece of wire brush in my fries, the lady next to us found a hair? And sent back her burger. Would not eat here again. read more

Been there twice and received 5/6 grade of service. Both times they offered a menu that was incomplete. You choose a dish and they have to check first, not having the dish scheduled. Went here for lunch for the first time. Our server was great! The place was clean. But unfortunately the food was not good and the cook is bad business. We ordered 2 pounds of wings. One pound dry rub and one pound wet. Lemon pepper and hot honey garlic. When we got the wings they all looked the exact same, all was a wet sauce which also appeared to have lemon pepper seasoning sprinkled on top. I asked the server which was which and she was confused and said the kitchen made a mistake and will take them back to be re made. She arrived back after MAYBE 2 minutes with "new wings". Mind you, the first bath of wings took about 18 min which is normal to cook fresh wings. Immediately upon the wings being set on the table my husband and I looked at each other and immediately knew they were not re made. The wet wings were definitely thrown back in the fryer because the hot honey sauce was caramelized and they just sprinkled lemon pepper on top. The other half of the wings were just shaken in extra wet sauce and you could still see the lemon pepper under the sauce. We would have been totally fine with waiting for our correct order. But instead the cook decided that the customer didn't matter and he didn't care even though it was 100% his fault. Sadly we won't be back. Who knows what else shady crap this establishment is pulling. Can't trust this place. read more
