Great place for late nights looking for something yummy and fulfilling. It is a bar so there is limited seating inside but there is a full patio for dining! The staff are very sweet and knowledgeable about their menu! Can't go wrong with crispy fries and a big tasty burger at 11pm from them! Some nights they have their DJ present as well so that was a plus for us this night! Will be back.
Yum yum yum! We stopped in this little bar & kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. So, it was BRUNCH TIME! Let me just say, my brunch burger was BOMB! Who knew I needed a burger with a beef patty with an egg, hash brown, sausage gravy, and cheese all on a brioche bun. PERFECTION. I appreciated the whole thing. We both ate all of our burger. In addition the fries were pretty tasty as well. Small places like this you just never know if it will be a hit or miss, but this was a hit! The service was kind and friendly, and I loved their music selection! I can see myself coming for a drinks on the weekend and vibin' out.
We arrived on a Sunday early afternoon for lunch. We were greeted warmly upon entering, very fri. It is a small place inside with 4 tabletops and bar seating. We liked the paintings on the wall. I ordered the Mexican Sunset....I like! We ordered the Thick Bacon burger with cheddar cheese and the Lonestar burger with pepper jack cheese with fries. The burgers were cooked perfectly ...so delicious. The roasted jalapeños on the Lonestar were yummy. The fries were also awesome as they were hot and crispy! The service was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch!
Average. I wanted to try and new place and picked here. I had the hot chicken, which wasn't very hot, and the sauce on the chicken had a weird taste. My parents got the Best Cheeseburger and I have to say, it definitely was not the best. Service was nice and they were attentive. We went on a Friday, so they had a jazz performer who was okay but the speaker was super loud you couldn't really hold a conversation.
An incredible gem. The owner came out and told us his favorites - and every single one of them was outstanding. We tried several appetizers - fried shrimp with a spicy sauce, garlic truffle fries and crispy Brussels sprouts. Then we split the chicken club sandwich and the bacon cheeseburger. Love this place and can't wait to go back. PS - my favorite was the fried shrimp. Best I've had in a long time.
I'd like to start off with we drove an hour to get to the location. In that time I told myself this place better be good, hah! Let me just say the food was mouthwatering delicious! The quantity vs. quality matches 100% so it's worth the price all the way! We got the Mudhook Standard $14 which allows for you to build your burger, we opted for: - double patty -pepper jack cheese -upgraded the fries: truffle fries (+7) Since it was wings night special (.75 cent wings all day Wednesday) we selected the Mango Habanero (not spicy at all so go for the ghost pepper if your liking for that kick) They had a small selection of draft but great selections in general. All in all everything was cooked awesomely. Each menu item was flavorful and it was filling for sure. If you haven't been it's a must have stop at least once in your life type of place!! Hopefully for those that are closer make this a regular spot because the location is lively and really promotes a cool hangout spot.
The food is really good. The onion rings are excellent along with the roasted brussels spouts with balsamic glazed & slivered almonds. Small cozy setting. Great variety of people, food, and music. Wish it was a little bigger because seating is limited inside. Their weekly and special events celebrate the diversity of our region, which I can't say for many bars around. Go try this place.
One of the best burgers I've had in Duncanville!!! Welp who am I kidding this was the best burger I've had in Texas. (Side Note Been year 3 years this October coming up) Anywho I've seen this spot multiple times I go next door (Rice Pot & Black & Bitter frequently) but I've never been in. Needless to say, today was the day!!! I haven't eaten all day been shopping for homeschooling, groceries, etc! Took a break in between stores and treated my sister also!! It was so delicious!!! Sky was our server she was AMMMM AZZZZ ING! Love this spot's food, clean restroom, outdoor/indoor seating, and cool stuff!! , great drinks!!! And Great!! Burgers!! Definitely Recommend!!!
Great hidden gem staff was very nice cool and laid back. Will be visiting again. Food was amazing and piping HOT and Fresh. Cooked to order. nothing short of a great experience
Passing through and used Yelp to find a place to eat. The burgers looked good so we stopped in. Small bar with great food!! We had the spicy shrimp for appetizer. Loved it! Our burgers though were amazing!!! My husband had The Best Burger bunless and I had the Loneyar burger. They were seasoned sooo good and were delicious!! Great Margarita and beer! Bonus it was Happy Hour all day! Miranda was very helpful and provided great customer service.
Are you looking for a hole in the wall nook with a great vibe where you can sit vibing for hours? This hits the spot. Are you looking for a place with a decent craft beer selection in Duncanville? Awesome. Come here. Good selection, proper pour, 5 stars for the beer choices. Especially if you're a fan of stouts and porters that are just non-existent at chain restaurants, you can satisfy that craving here. I had the lakewood temptress salted caramel milk stout.... mm mm good. Are you looking to someday get menus, your order taken, food delivered, a check you can pay? You'll have to go elsewhere. That's not their forte at this place. Once it finally arrived the food was excellent, if fairly standard bar fare. The wagyu beef was not particularly highlighted in burger form but it was certainly a solid, well made, and delicious burger. The bacon cheese fries were stuck to the paper and I had paper tearing and coming up with the food when I tried to get a bite, but the bacon was crispy, salty, and a perfect complement to the fries. TL;DR only come here if you are in absolutely no hurry. With that said, both food and beverages are great.
Well stopped by for the first time for dinner the waitress was nice and the food was delicious I opt fries for onion rings and I am glad did the rings were delicious the band was in the process of setting up outside on the patio, really nice place will definitely be back only thing the vent above me was dripping water from the condensation when the ac unit kicks on but other than that it's a nice place overall
Good and fresh food made to order, late night go to! Great bar options. And entertainment some nights. The night I went there was bingo for .50 the service staff was so sweet and attentive. A small spot but cozy. Outdoor seating available too. I have to try brunch next time!
This place is a hidden gem! Nice to see a small bar and grill of this caliber in my home town! We came on a Friday night and it wasn't too packed. Had a regular cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious! The patty (possibly wagyu?!) was easy to eat and has a unique flavor. Drinks are fairly priced. Bartenders/waiters were all friendly. If I lived nearby, I would be a regular! For those who are local, they have tons of events and happy hour specials. It's been sad to hear about other small spots in Duncanville shutting down, so I hope this place sticks around for a while read more

Beer, burgers, fries-- honestly this is the place for all three. We sat outside and enjoyed the fan & TV playing the current sports game as we sipped on some nice fresh beer from the tap. We ordered fried pickles and were pleasantly surprised how good they tasted! They have a thicker coating versus most places and it is soooo appreciated. It's well seasoned and so delicious especially with ranch. They had a nice kick to them! We got the best burger and the all day brunch burger. They were both super juicy and I really liked that their buns were as big and thick as they were. No soggy burger EVER! Burgers are big , definitely double fister. The fries were nice and crispy all while being super fluffy and creamy inside. The staff? Oh my gosh they were delightful! The location was nice as well, easy parking both in the front or back. I think I may have found my go-to spot for brews and burgers read more
If you know me, I enjoy a great burger during happy hour. I had read so many great reviews about this spot in Duncanville that I was excited to try it out. Let me start with the positives. The staff are very friendly and the service is timely. Like most happy hour spots. The drinks are a little watered down, but I did enjoy my margarita and my gummy bear shot, I must say the gummy bear shot was very yummy and sweet. Now for the burger review, it is with disappointment that I share this burger lacked flavor. The bread was hard and cold. The burger was not season with any flavor. You can't mess up french fries, so these were pretty yummy but I enjoyed them in sadness because I did not have a yummy burger to indulge in. read more

Visited 3/19 about 3:10 start time-party of 2-This was my first time here&I likely will not return. The service was not friendly or welcoming. I ordered the The Mudhook Standard 8oz Wagyu, Cheese, Bacon - the beef was dry& overcooked. The bacon on the burger could have been good but it was not fresh/probably the old brunch bacon that made that part of the burger blah. With the burger I had the Truffle Parm Fries- there is an upcharge of $7 in addition to the $16 for the burger-similar to the burger, it could have been good if the fries had been served fresh but they were not. The fries seemed to have been sitting for some time and were also overcooked. The worst part was probably the service because both ladies made me feel like I showed up to their house unannounced instead of patronizing a restaurant. read more

I was in Duncanville on business and looked on Yelp for a cheeseburger. This place came up and was pretty close to me, so I decided to try it out. Very close to a perfect decision. Unfortunately, their beer selection is not great. Fortunately, their cheeseburger overcompensated for the beer. The bun was perfectly sweet, soft and tasty; I want to say it was baked today . You could taste the spices in the patty, and the vegetables were as crispy and fresh as it gets. Last, but not least, the crispy, salty and suoer tasty bacon was outstanding! Loved it!! Too bad I live far from the place; but rest assured that the memory of their great burgers will bring me back here soon enough! If you're close, stop by, you will not regret it. read more

Food was pretty decent. The vibes here are immaculate. There was a drag event happening and it looked amazing. This place host a lot of themed nights and special events. Would recommend. Only thing is seating is limited and the spaces for sitting inside are small, not a lot of leg room. read more
