Only place around UW that has lotus (other is Seafab) AND it's a drive thru. Came here midday so there wasn't any traffic and only one car ahead of me. A couple quirks about the stand- they are cash only and have a 4 drink minimum. Kind of weird. Came here on a 70° day craving a cold drink. I have a very particular drink order- pink lotus with passion fruit, strawberry, mango & a splash of OJ. $6.95 for a 24 oz. Not bad. I like my drinks a little more carbonated but the drink tasted great! Service was friendly. Ambiance- can't really rate because it's a drive thru. Small stand on a lot. Get your drink and leave LOL Overall giving a 4 because it's more expensive than SeaFab and a little bit further from campus. Convenient drive thru. Nice though that my drink tastes similiar to up north.

I've been going to Muddy Waters for years. I used to work on Wedgewood back in 2008/09 and stopped by this stand then. My kids come here now. Victoria is my girl, we also have something fun to talk about and she's always happy to see me. The drinks are fantastic and they have all flavors of lotus - the natural 'red bull' so I go for one when I need some caffeine and don't want coffee. I drive from the Central District just to this stand in Ravenna. It's worth it! Thanks, Victoria!

They have so many sugar free flavor options (more than just the typical vanilla and caramel) and their hours are the best.

Katie is the best barista there, she's super cool and inviting. The coffee is the best in seattle! 10/10

But honestly? The energy worked. The staff was moving with that calm, unbothered flow only seasoned baristas have. Friendly, attentive, and somehow keeping the line moving without making anyone feel rushed. Respect. Light was flooding every corner; that soft Seattle glow that makes you want to pull out your journal and pretend you live inside a cozy indie film. Ventilation was perfect. Temperature was perfect. Seating options? Abundant. And not the awkward wobbly kind either. This spot is built for lingering. I grabbed a latte, sat down, and immediately fell into an art journaling trance. There's something about being surrounded by curated shelves of books and cute little treasures that just unlocks your brain. It's the kind of place where you look up after ten minutes and somehow an hour passed. This was my first visit, but it's already on my list of "places I'll actually come back to and get work done." A rare category, honestly. If you're looking for a café that feels like a creative reset button; this is a great one.

I must admit that I'm a bit of a coffee snob and don't easily fall in love with coffee shops, but…read moreSanto may be the exception. The coffee, the staff, the vibes...everything is just perfect. When you walk in, you're immediately greeted by the most incredible fragrance of perfectly roasted coffee, followed by a super friendly barista. I love the aesthetic of the space, with the faux black marble countertop and black walls, broken up by the white accent wall, white bags of coffee beans, and occasional plant. The furniture is all very tasteful, with a great combination of black, white, tan, and dark green to tie the entire space together into a cohesive, artful, and modern vibe. Once you've soaked in the space, the next thing that grabs your attention is the coffee. The beans are perfectly roasted, and every espresso drink is crafted with precision and care, with beautiful latte art for even the alternative milks (which is quite difficult to accomplish!). The coffee is a bit nutty and chocolately, with a lovely fragrance that goes wonderfully with milk. The coffee isn't overly bright or bitter, and I think that even those who typically prefer a sweeter / flavored coffee beverage could enjoy a plain latte from this place. Can't wait to come back soon'

Visiting from out of town so not sure when I'll be able to go back but would like to someday. Found parking easily (might've been lucky) and enjoyed the ambiance. They were vibing Khruangbin, one of my faves. Classy and clean flooring and counters. Just barely got the last seat on a Monday at 11am. Definitely the type of place where folks come to park themselves for hours rather than WFH from their dreary studio apt. All good. Recommend!
