No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.

I ordered a matcha expecting the rich, smooth experience that comes with quality, whisked ceremonial matcha. Instead, I was surprised to receive something completely different. As it turns out they use a matcha teabag. It would've been helpful to know that upfront. If you're a true matcha lover looking for the real deal, this isn't it. The staff was polite, but the drink didn't meet expectations. Disappointed, especially for the price.

I am so glad this location is closer to me!…read more Organic Tea Fusion, which originally started in Apple Valley, has expanded its businesses to 3 other locations. Each with its own personalities and menu, but still great service. So, before I discuss this location (Hesperia Location) on Bear Valley Road in the parking lot of Desert Valley Hospital, do keep in mind there is one near Victor Bowling (Victorville location) and another on Main Street (another Hesperia location). Let's talk about this EXPRESS location. That's what it is: a smaller menu with the same quality ingredients and in a smaller location. It shares its space with offices associated with the hospital, so be sure to sit in Organic Fusion Tea designated areas if you choose to sit for a bit. Upon arriving, you will see a Kiosk that you may order from. You may also enter to see their menu neatly written on a chalkboard (using marker, of course) and order from the Organic Tea employees. As for the atmosphere, this place is tiny. Maybe, just maybe, you will see Desert Valley Hospital employees waiting for their drinks as you scroll through the kiosk to place your order or read the menu. Today, I tried the Lavender Milk Tea and I made my modifications on the kiosk. It was made perfectly. There are other menu items I have not seen at the Apple Valley location, so I would like to return and try them. Such menu items include Happy Tea and Elder Healer, both of which I think are good marketing items for being in the same parking lot as a hospital. Food is not served here. The location is too small and can not accommodate a kitchen. Drinks is it's priority and it's called Express for a reason: it serves up the simple, quality drinks. Highly recommend if you are on the go and need a quick, organic, Tea drink.

The beverage was refreshing but, even with half sugar, it was still on the sweet side. The grass jelly was perfect to help in cooling off due to hot weather. I ordered two banh mi sandwiches, one grilled pork and one fried egg. These are still rather hard to find up here on the area. The sandwiches were on the smaller side but were delicious. The grilled pork was flavorful. Not a large portion by any means but adequate for the roll size. The fried egg was the better of the two sandwiches. The eggs were fried hard but still were tender and fluffy in texture. They were seasoned well. Both sandwiches had the shredded pickled daikon and carrot tucked within. The herbs were fresh. Jalapeños were the spicy ones so be ready for a nice kick. Eggs rolls were crispy with a good tasting filling. It came with lettuce and pickled radish and carrot to make your own wraps. Definitely order the egg rolls.

I've got it from true ethnic family own locations my whole life. I took the chance at trying "thePHO" and first impressions of the place are a little lacking. Normal ordering process, language is all in English on the menu which I usually take with a gain of salt when it comes to judging a place. Got my normal rare beef pho which is a safe bet when trying new places. Along with the shrimp spring rolls. Spring rolls came out, no fishy smell and were nice and chilled. Regular side spread arranged before Pho was brought out. At first glance it appeared normal.
