Lots to offer at reasonable prices! Gel nails + extensions are $55! Jo was my nail tech and she did an amazing job - it was one of those fancier places that take care of your cuticles and give you a hand massage + hot towels after. They make sure each client is satisfied and happy! She spent a long time on my cuticles and never hurt me once, which doesn't happen a lot with my usual nail techs. She was patient even when I changed my nail colour a few times after the colour combo didn't turn out as I thought. She made sure I was happy with each step as she asked me if everything was okay every time she added a colour or layer. She also did an amazing job - she put the gel so close to the cuticles and it looks absolutely gorgeous. I think they can do subtle patterns and stuff too, but they have a large colour selection. Overall very comfortable salon, only 7 min away from my house is perfect. Their gel is thinly layered but very strong. I approve!

However with the great reviews I was reading on this place I wanted to check it out. Can I just say you definitely need to be patient when going to this location. The parking lot is crazy small.. I was lucky enough to wait a few minutes and get a spot! I walked in (with a thought of being turned down because they were busy *side note yes I had a back up plan) and asked for a refill. The manager just kinda looked at me and then looked through his books and I was fortunate enough, he said I could have a seat (reluctantly). The establishment is small , to me everything just seems really cramped in one. There were a lot of client service staff to accommodate every seat in that place which was really good. I had a woman (she was blonde) and didn't introduce herself. However the work she did with my nails was beautiful. she was extremely precise which I thoroughly enjoy. I chose the colour that she was wearing because I couldn't spot it out in the selection. Bio-Gel Refill - $40 cash ($45 if you use card) Mr. Manager asked me if it was my first time and i replied yes, he then informed me to next time make an appointment because they are an appointment only nail salon. Which is fine if I lived near here and this was my nail salon. However I have a nail salon but I just did not want to head up then back down for what I needed to do. I do promise, if I ever break a nail I will call first. haha.

Made a reservation fairly quickly but the lady said that walk in is usually fine. I got the Shellac manicure and the lady doing my nails was pretty diligent in making sure my cuticles were well trimmed and my nails were neatly filed. I wanted my nails to be cut fairly short this time around so had to ask for this a couple of times. The lady was very friendly about it though. Overall pretty satisfied with the manicure despite a few bits of nail polish that were painted over my cuticles. Their UV lamp is also quite strong - my hands started to feel like they were burning after a while. The store has a TON of colours and you definitely won't have any issues finding a colour that you like or that matches your Insta nail inspo. They actually ran out of the first colour I chose but I was quickly given a close dupe afterwards.

It's in the sketchy plaza across Markville and my sis warned me they're a bit aggressive and never on time for appointments. This was proven to be true as I waited 10-15 min- not too bad still. Christy is great, good with English and efficient. She did shave my cuticles by accident as she was shaving down the nail but only once or twice. They have lots of colours to choose from, powder or shellac or gel. Literally every cool nail thing you see on instagram, they have here - cat eye gel, holographic nails, chromes etc. She was super fast but good - gave me acrylics which ended up smooth but not super thick as most acrylics go. I prefer acrylics over gel because it's just stronger.. especially when you're dropping weights at the gym, ja feel? I've broken so many gel nails at the gym and I'm like ... y tho. These acrylics feel strong and durable AND they're affordable af. I paid $50 including tip. She also gives a nice little hand massage at the end, it's wonderful. I want to come back for a pedi! They have lots of staff and they also do walk-ins as well, which is why I think a lot of appointments are delayed.
