5 star from start to finish! They were the last ones to give us an estimate and I'm so happy they did. Their pricing was the best price and most affordable out of 4 other companies. The communication from Marina was great. The customer service overall by everyone was great from the owners to the crew. The work took them 1 day to complete on a two story house. The crew worked hard and we never had any problems with them. Once the work was completed, we addressed a few things that we wanted corrected and they were out to correct them the next day. They really did make sure that we were happy with the work. I can't say enough positive things about MTZ. I truly am so pleased with the work and look forward to recommending them to who ever I can in the future. Thank you Rogelio, Eduardo, Marina, and crew. read more

We're glad to submit this positive feedback for MTZ Roofing and Gutters and the great service provided to our family. Our home needed a new roof quickly, and we contacted MTZ after being referred by family members. From Eduardo's very first visit, he was positive, honest, and informative. As first-time homeowners with many questions, we appreciated how patiently he explained the roofing process step by step. Marina was very helpful with documents, paperwork, financing, and invoicing, showing kindness and patience both in person and through email. Before installation, we urgently needed protection from potential leaks, and Juan Carlos came to our home twice to assist us in advance of the project. That above-and-beyond service immediately reassured us that we had chosen the right company. Daniel supervised the installation and led his team efficiently and professionally. The work was completed on schedule and in an organized, clean manner. Rogelio also ensured final details were handled carefully at the conclusion of the project. The new roof looks beautiful and was installed just in time for Southern California's winter rainstorms. It was put to the test right away and held up exceptionally. Throughout the entire process, every member of the MTZ team -- Eduardo, Marina, Juan Carlos, Daniel, and Rogelio -- treated our family with the same patience, respect, and professionalism. It truly felt like a unified team effort from start to finish. We greatly appreciate MTZ Roofing and Gutters for their professionalism, courtesy, and flexibility. We strongly recommend them to anyone needing roofing services. They're awesome! read more

Daniel and his crew at MTZ deliver exactly what they say they are going to do. Exceptional work and fast. We had Daniel repair our flat roof section of our home - installing a cricket and sealing roof with silicone. Couldn't be happier with the result. Highly recommend . read more

We have been extremely happy with MTZ Roofing and Gutters across multiple projects, including new gutters and a full roof replacement. Marina was consistently responsive and provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. Their pricing is very fair and was the lowest across multiple estimates we received. The work was completed efficiently without cutting corners. Eduardo managed the crew with professionalism and was always available to walk the site with us and answer our questions. His attention to detail and commitment to quality really stand out. We're very grateful for their excellent craftsmanship and will absolutely be reaching out for any future roofing or gutter needs! read more

MTZ did our gutters in the front and back of our home. We worked closely with Daniel to discuss what we envisioned and what was possible in terms of styles, colors, and scheduling. We went with modern straight face "fascia" style gutter with 3" round downspouts and it's perfect! The installers were professional, courteous, and made adjustments we requested along the way during the installation. We highly recommend MTZ! read more

I had been looking for a contractor to install quality rain gutters on our home. I saw a project in a neighboring community that impressed me so I asked for the name of the rain gutter contractor. When I contacted MTZ, I worked with Erick and Marina. They were professional and patient with all my questions and helpful in finding gutter colors that closely matched the colors of our home. The installation crew was efficient and did an outstanding job, even suggesting the elimination of a downspout that they felt would detract from the front of our home. They also fulfilled my wife's wish of constructing four of the downspouts so that they will each drain into a 50-gallon rain barrel so she can collect stormwater for her plants. We are very happy with the work that was done and recommend MTZ Roofing & Gutters! read more

I had MTZ replace an old gutter and install a small new section in 2022 - the downspout has since detached from the building and is being held up by a bar. I have tried numerous times to get a hold of these people but they have not responded. So, bad quality work and bad customer service gets them a 1-star rating from me. read more

First of all, we all know how hard it is to find good people to do a great job at a reasonable price. And getting your roof replaced is a big thing to trust a business to do. I came across MTZ Roofing & Gutters and I never looked back. They're professional and courteous and the quality of their work speaks volumes. If I ever had any concerns or questions the guys in charge would always be there for me. Especially Erick Carino. His customer service and knowledge of the job was above and beyond. So thx everyone at MTZ!!! All of you made replacing our roof a great experience. Top notch workmanship!!!! I would suggest checking them out. I'm sure you won't regret it. read more

Received a few quotes to add 3 sections of gutters to our home and MTZ Roofing & Gutters came in competitively priced and initially had availability within my desired time frame. Marina answered phone calls and emails promptly. Rogelio came out to provide an estimate - he was on-time, prompt, and efficient. He also took measurements with a tape-measure, where others did not. Unfortunately, there were a number of unexpected delays - timeline below. - Estimate completed on 11/17/22 (I had wanted install completed in December). - Installation scheduled 12/15 - Notified 12/15 would need to reschedule for 12/19 - Notified 12/16 would need to reschedule for 12/23 due to overbooking on 12/19. - Installation complete 12/23 The installation itself went smoothly and the pair of installers cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. They properly pulled out drip edges to flow into the gutters as well. Unfortunately, two downspout ending elbows were incorrectly ordered. They had ordered two A-type elbows instead of B-type elbows. Where installed, the selected elbows emptied water directly into a planter adjacent to the foundation of our garage. The installer noted this (as it was inaccurately ordered from the estimate) and said he would get the proper elbows ordered and come back to install them. -1/3/23 notified installer would come the next day to install proper Type B elbows. 1/4/23 installer replaces elbows. After he leaves, I notice the elbows are a shade lighter than the existing downspout color (Clay). It is noticeable that Type B elbows of a lighter from-factory color were spray painted with Clay-colored paint to roughly match the existing downspout. This is apparent due to overspray within the elbow and differences in factory vs. spray paint surface texture. The inside creases where the metal is bent for the angle are also of a lighter color, unlike the other elbows on the downspout which are Clay colored through-and-through. It is dishonest to say the appropriate part will be ordered and installed - even though the replacement part is "good enough" from a distance. All in all, working with MTZ Roofing & Gutters was very straightforward. However, due to the need to reschedule multiple times (perhaps out of their hands) and lack quality upkeep at the tail-end, this is a definite 4-Star review. read more

Eduardo was one of the first to respond to my request for bids on my gutter problem. He came out here today and gave me good solid information on how I should proceed with the project even though it meant going with a patio installer instead. He was masked and gloved and showed up exactly when he said he would. I would not hesitate to do business with MTZ Sheetmetal. read more

This company by far is the best choice for rain gutters. My family and I were so please from start to finish of all aspects of their work. MTZ really cares about their customers and will make sure you are satisfied. A small example of them going above and beyond was when I could not decide on a color for my rain gutters. Rogelio asked someone to bring me two sample colors to my other property an hour away. Marina was extremely helpful as well answering all my calls and even sharing her opinion. Even the installers were exceptional. I asked Jose while they were working to take photos of the roof and solar panels so I have them. As far is pricing they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive. The pricing is very reasonable and worth every dollar! We are looking forward to working with them with more projects. I wanted to take the time to share my experience and also guarantee you will be very glad working with MTZ! read more

I just had MTZ install brand new gutters on my home. They look amazing everyone I dealt with was very nice from the estimate to completion. I had several quotes and they were by far the most reasonable. On the date of installation they showed up bright & early and got right to work there was nothing left from my old gutters. Again I am very pleased with the service and will definitely recommend them. read more

Stay away. I should have followed the other reviews who said they just don't show up. I didn't because those were quotes that they bailed on. This time they ghosted on the actual work to be done. The project involves a home remodel (not gutters) and the activities have to take place at a specific time in the project. Eduardo said he would be at my place on Friday or Sat to do the final measurements, install what needs to be done before stuccoing, and begin the work Friday he changed to Monday. Monday morning I texted him for confirmation on what time he would be here. Monday later afternoon I left a voicemail and Tuesday morning another text. Never heard back. Contacted his office to make sure there wasn't an emergency = nope, he's working. Again, this is a project that involves a specific timeline. Getting new bids and scheduling work takes time and not something I have, since the full project involves a general contractor and is in the middle of their work. If he doesn't want to do my project, I'm fine with that. I'd rather pay someone who wants to do the work at my house. But he should tell the customer so they can make other arrangements instead of leave them hanging. NOT COOL! read more

What a waste of time. No one showed up. Not even a call or warning to say we aren't showing up, don't wait for us. First if was between 2-3. Waited til 4. No one. Then they rescheduled to 5pm that day. Waited til 6 and again, no one showed up. At the very least, they could have sent a message on yelp and say "look, we can't make it, don't wait up". read more

Too notch service! Celia stoped by a few days after my request for a quote. I scheduled several quotes from businesses in the area. They offered several colors and designs. Their quote was the most reasonable and knowing that they are a second generation family owned company, they are the fabricators of the product & that they give a lifetime guarantee on their products sold me! I love my new gutters they look amazing! Thank you!!!! read more

Every time it rains it reminds me how grateful I am to have worked with MTZ roofing and rain gutters. Rogeilo was prompt and professional. He is very knowledgeable and shared different options with us. The whole team from Marina answering calls to the installers who came out to do the job exceeded my expectations. It's hard to find happy and helpful people these days but everyone I spoke with and dealt with at MTZ was amazing. I read all the reviews for this company. There were some that complained about them not getting back to you (YELP, email, phone, text). NOT TRUE!!! I contacted them for a simple gutter installation, 18 feet total, so not a big job for them... not a big money maker for them! They got back to me quickly, gave me a quote on yelp. I called them direct, to schedule an installation. The owner came by the same day to inspect and confirm pricing and installation. They scheduled an installation for the following week. The crew came ON TIME, and were polite and informative. They installed the gutter in less than one hour and did a great job. I did contact other installers through yelp, but their quotes were twice to three times higher than MTZ. I highly recommend MTZ for your rain gutter needs... they exceeded my expectations in every way!!! Richard read more

I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate for rain gutters. I spoke with a girl who gave me a date and time. She took my name and phone number. We had a great experience with MTZ. Celia was fast at responding and answered all of my questions. I don't do reviews, except for great service or poor ones. We needed to replace the gutters of our mid-century modern home. Rogelio came out, understood our need (modern clean look, couple of custom areas, leaf guard, etc), provided a clear and fair estimate. I already had seen 4 other companies, and I chose MTZ. Few weeks later Victor and his helper installed the gutters. Marina, from the office, sent them back out to address couple of concerns I had communicated through email. Work is done as good as I could have expected! Thanks guys! read more

The company is run by father and son. They seem to be very busy . The son takes all the calls when it is time to get new jobs. He sent his dad to give me the estimate. After several days of making several calls and leaving messages with their voicemail, did get an estimate. When I had questions about the estimate and reached out to both father and son , there was again no answer.
