Bought 6.7 cummins short Blk on 11/9/22..Paid in Full Cash... Brought the engine back because it had scored cyclinder wall,, debits in block deck, leaky seal around front cover, cam shaft beat up.. Chavo said they d fix it .. I drove from Dallas TX ( second time) with the core which they approved of 11/15/22.. Received ANOTHER short block after spending the whole day there watching that the parts were installed properly. When I paid for the block and core on 11/9/22 I was told I d receive the core charge back when they received the core in good condition.. That didn t happen. Received several excuses from Chavo.. Don t do refunds till the first week of the month (first time) Can t give a refund now had employees stealing from me... On 1/5/23 I received the core refund with NO allowances for having to rent a hotel and coming back twice. On 12/22/22 the REAR freeze plug came out... So, the truck went back into the shop . This is the freeze plug in the rear of the block in which you have to remove the transmission to FIX it.. Chavo has been notified and given pictures and the shops name that did the repairs.. NOw awaitiing payment for defective freeze plug installation..!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

on 2/5/24 I left a one star review due to being unable to get my core refund back. Chago called me to resolve & noted that it took me 12 months to get my core back to him. MTZ policy is that you have 30 days to return a core. Even though I was way beyond my core return time, Chago still returned my core deposit. As I stated in the beginning- we've had No Issues with the engine we received. We will purchase in the future. MTZ cares about their customers! read more

Ordered a 5.9L long block for my 07 Ram last December. In these times its hard to justify buying a new truck when all you need is an engine. Engine came in as expected although wait time was extended a few weeks because you know, everything is taking longer these days!
