I've experienced better."…read more Yesterday, a Saturday, I checked their website to see that they were open 'till 5 and made the drive from Arlington to Littleton to arrive around 3:20 only to have the door shut in our faces and be told, "I'm leaving early today." Granted it was a nice day to be riding one's motorcycle,but welcome to retail where you don't close the door on a customer well within normal business hours. Would I visit again? I'm not so stupid as to boycott if there were a good chance that they might have what I was looking for at a reasonable price. However, I'd never go again without calling first to be sure they'd be open and I recommend that you do the same. And some retailers wonder why so much business has moved to the Web? (Yes, I was able to complete my business elsewhere.)

He installed a quick link while repeating numerous highly offensive and unpolitically correct language. He has old bikes and doesn't know how to work on a bike with electronic shifting. He adjusted the barrels on my rear derailleur, and it wouldn't shift to the smallest cog. I brought it to Landry's in Natick and they adjusted the barrels and rear hanger, but it left me bikeless for a week. Don't bring your bike here unless you want someone who will mess up your bike and who is highly unprofessional. I wish I could give zero stars.

I haven't been inside a traditional bike shop in some time, and it was nice stepping back into "simpler times." There was definitely a nice assortment of bikes to fit everyone's riding interests, but none of the crazy modern technology that other larger bike shops use to help with bike fitment, riding simulation, etc. The owner, John, was extremely accommodating the FIVE times I went there, each time to better understand my next bike, the groupset I was best suited for, and overal mental trade study on whether I should even buy one. No pressure whatsoever, he was carefree and offered honest opinion. In the end I bought a Park Tool repair stand and a Trek Checkpoint. Even looking to close shop, John gladly told me to come back with any questions. Local shops like this are far and few nowadays.

Given how kind, fun, attentive and generous Mark was with random dive partners in his group, I can only imagine the level of service and care that his actual customers and clients would receive on one of his trips!
