They bought my first board from them in 2001, and have continued to buy anything I can from them because of the customer service and care for their community. Bill and his staff have always been so helpful in guiding me in my purchases to ensure I get the best equipment for my needs. I am working with Bill right now to purchase a new board from them even though I live in Scottsdale, AZ now. He's been great steering me away from companies that aren't producing great stuff anymore, and introducing me to better options that I will enjoy more. I called the store and spoke to a gentleman who had the manager call me to troubleshoot. Luke was amazing. He went above and beyond what I expected to ship me a bike to where I am in California. I only wish I wasn't across the country so I could go in person to thank him for everything he did to get me this bike. First of all I question his business practices, he forces you to buy two sets of steel which should have been my first red flag. He also has a major integrity issue and in my opinion taking advantage of people by forcing them to buy two sets of steel. Jay's communication is terrible and doesn't respond back. I then asked for a refund and he tried lying to me and telling me orders are 2-3 weeks out when I intitally spoke to him. I canceled the order 5 days later and he lied to me trying to tell me that he was expediting my order when I never asked and tried to charge me an 18% restocking fee for nothing. He then said he initiated a refund over $500 on 5/19/2025 and it's 06/12/2025 and I still have not received anything. I then told him to just Zelle me back the money. Jay has an excuse for everything and is not an honorable person in my opinion. I am still without any refund after he assured me it could take up to 14 days. It's well past the 14 days and still no refund. It's one excuse after another from owner Jay for steel he never shipped and I have not received. Avoid doing business with this arrogant owner at all costs. It's nonsense excuse after nonsense excuse. I strongly encourage everyone not to support this small business owner who is not honest and from my experience is a pathological liar.

They replied "anything with 75mm on a green label". They did not offer to come help us. We looked at those boots and found all the sizes were European . Not knowing what size he wore in European we looked around for a conversation chart and did not find one. Again no one came to offer help. Finally googled a conversion chart. We spent another 15 minutes in the store looking at boots and wandering around but no one once asked if we needed help finding anything. The three men hadn't moved from their chat session as we left the store. Would never return.

You can't make this stuff up. I traveled past many of Connecticut's finer equipment dealers to get here, because they had such a good deal on the leg pads I had my eyes on for months. Everywhere else on earth seemed to want $650 for them; I paid $540, a great deal in a sector of sporting goods that rarely sees deep discounts. The shop itself is relatively small, but still has a goodly amount of stuff in it. I'd say that if you're looking for something specific, call ahead and have them order it for you, like I did. And they'll do all the hockey basics here - sharpen your skates, sell you some tape, fix your equipment, and so on. A 3/8" hollow on my skates and a 2005 Chianti? The perfect combination.
