The owner needs to learn how to communicate in a kinder way. A few visits I found the owner to be a bit testy. I asked if he could order 2 lbs. of stone crab claws for me and he said yes and would call me when they came in. The price was like $35 lb. When he called I came in and he had 3 lbs. I said I only wanted two and he said "What am I going to do with the remaining pound?" As if it is my problem. I was NOT wanting to spend $100 on stone crab. Then, they didn't keep fresh for more than a day. DAMN. I bought raw whipping cream and it wouldn't whip (there was too much milk in it) and I spent $12 or so dollars for a pint. Another disappointment. The last visit was a couple months ago. I bought a piece of grouper (with the skin on....which is adding weight and you don't eat the skin) and a smoked mahi fish dip that was HARD pieces of fish. NO MORE! I'd rather drive to Gainesville to buy fresh fish than constantly be over charged and disappointed.

I wouldn't recommend getting any of the average seasoned jerky though (i.e. Traditional, BBQ, Teriyaki) as they are what they are. Average. And overpriced. The guy that helped us however was great.
