We really enjoyed our conversation and his insight. I told our realtor that you were an outstanding choice and that she should refer you to her clients! Jeff was so thorough in his report and includes pictures of everything he inspects. The price was fair for the service and do offer a military discount, just ask. We have had other inspections on homes buying or selling that literally went through the motions and checked the box. Not Jeff, he inspects as if it were his own home, and will tell you what is a significant issue or something to put on a "to do" list when you have time or money to make the repairs. I just can't say enough good things about this service. You won't be disappointed.

Amanda was very helpful getting everything set up. Great Help, thank you again! I met Jeff there and watched him go thru everything very efficiently. I work as a Certified Commercial Electrical Inspector and was very impressed with Jeff's knowledge of codes and regulations. I was asking him questions and he answered every one to my satisfaction. Before he was complete, he asked if there was anything else I needed from him, and I couldn't think of any thing he didn't already answer for me. These days it is great to find someone you can trust, I believe HK Inspections is at the top of the list!

Jimmy Su inspected our home and missed critical issues. He…read moredid mention slow drainage but said nothing to worry about. He did mention low water pressure and how long hot water took but said nothing to worry about. Day 2 after bought home All toilets, sinks and bathtubs backed up. Water started flooding in closets. We got it stopped and unclogged for a minute it seemed. Hired a plumber who on Day 5 after buying home immediately and easily found (Slab leak) which means pipes are cracked everywhere. They were shocked this was missed during inspection. Water is pouring and hasn't stopped. Yes this has been going on for easily a year. Home owner didn't disclose either. Quote to fix 20K + Maybe his quick rush and done an hour and a half early didn't ensure he did a thorough job or his knowledge was lacking to a level that he missed all the easily seen and known signs or his friendship with the sellers agent determined the level of good or poor job he choose to do. Whatever it was, I would NEVER recommend him or this company. Less than a month in this home and his BIG miss will end up 30k in cost.

Our crawlspace had some foundation issues (one of the piers is a wood stump!!!!) that is so obvious and right in front of your face as the inspector's job. All the plumbing in the crawlspace wasn't drained right we noticed this immediately after moving in after we couldn't flush our toilets. Every sink was leaking in the house. This was completely undocumented and the bathtub had a crack in it. That was completely undocumented which also is leak leaking. There were roof repair's that have been done to our house that were completely undocumented. These spots were obvious after getting up on the roof after we had closed on the house. There is proof backing up that these issues have been going on for a long, long time. Our experience is a 0 out of 10. unfortunately, from the homebuyers standpoint, there's only so much you can look into buying the house and you rely on the home inspector, and in this case, I would not be recommending this business.
