The repair is solid, has withstood last winter (including the recent onslaught of rain this past weekend), and undoubtedly will endure for the remaining lifetime of the roof. The other roofers missed this one. I needed new flashing around the fireplace chimney. It was no problem for them since they have a metal shop also.
