He placed an unproven sub on our double bathroom remodel. In the end it turned out the sub didn't know how to do anything well. I spent 56 days in a hotel while the bathrooms were demoed, remodeled, demoed again and redone. We lost a significant amount of money from our dealings with Cameron. A year later we are still resolving issues that Cameron allowed.

However, when I called them to come and install a carport at my mom's house next door, they were very quick to take my deposit. The very next day we found out that my uncle on the other side of the country is on his deathbed. I subsequently called my rep to advise that we were going to have to cancel the installation because we need to use that money to fly the family out there to see my uncle before he passes. I was told that my deposit is nonrefundable, even though it was not mentioned verbally to me. It was apparently on the document that I signed, but obviously I didn't read every single fine print and it was not mentioned to me verbally. I am being told that the best they can do is hold a deposit for any future install. This is ridiculous to say the least. A death in the family is a pretty good excuse and this heartless company is holding onto the $400 deposit as if they had started actually working on the account. This was a day after the visit so they didn't even start cutting metal or anything. And oh yeah, not to mention, my mother is recently widowed, 87 years old, and relies on Social Security for her income. The manager that was supposed to call me back three days ago has not bothered to call me to discuss this at all. I am disinclined to ever use them again, and if anyone ever asks me about this company, I will gladly share this.

Our new deck and stairs have Deckorators brand Vista Ironwood planks which were beautifully installed on extremely sturdy, nice looking new supports. Because we encountered some delays due to specific railing material unavailability, the need to expand the scope of work needed due to more extensive support rot than anticipated, and an already very busy work crew, our project took longer and cost more than initially expected. We recommend Longview Decks as long as you are ok with similar situations and communicate your questions, concerns, and requirements as needed.

I am waiting for warranty repair on my deck for 14 months; my deck has boards that are loose and create trip hazard and on 12x16 section middle of the deck has a hump that creates water puddles on both sides. First year I had to call for warranty 3 times because incorrectly installed boards were popping out ( and they still are). For this pricing quality is simply not there. Last year 2024 in March person came in and evaluated the "hump" for warranty repair and they were ghosting me ever since. My last resort is the court so be warned!
