However, when I called them to come and install a carport at my mom's house next door, they were very quick to take my deposit. The very next day we found out that my uncle on the other side of the country is on his deathbed. I subsequently called my rep to advise that we were going to have to cancel the installation because we need to use that money to fly the family out there to see my uncle before he passes. I was told that my deposit is nonrefundable, even though it was not mentioned verbally to me. It was apparently on the document that I signed, but obviously I didn't read every single fine print and it was not mentioned to me verbally. I am being told that the best they can do is hold a deposit for any future install. This is ridiculous to say the least. A death in the family is a pretty good excuse and this heartless company is holding onto the $400 deposit as if they had started actually working on the account. This was a day after the visit so they didn't even start cutting metal or anything. And oh yeah, not to mention, my mother is recently widowed, 87 years old, and relies on Social Security for her income. The manager that was supposed to call me back three days ago has not bothered to call me to discuss this at all. I am disinclined to ever use them again, and if anyone ever asks me about this company, I will gladly share this.

When I asked for documentation, they admitted they had none and then refused to communicate in writing -- a huge red flag. A separate inspection confirmed no pier & beam work was done. I'm now pursuing Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection and BBB complaints as well as going to small claims court. BEWARE.

His tactics are suspect to say the least. I asked the roofing crew to properly brace the new rafters down to load bearing. They did not. The other roofers missed this one. I needed new flashing around the fireplace chimney. It was no problem for them since they have a metal shop also. When he got ready to leave he told me that someone from his business would be contacting me in a couple of weeks to come out and take some measurements and that if I had not heard from them within 3 weeks to give him a call, you have my cell phone number. Well, when I did not hear from anyone from him or his business within 3 weeks I called his office and was told he was in a meeting, so I left a message asking him to call me. The lady who answered the phone said it could be the next morning before he returned my call. I waited several days and he never called me. So, I called his cell phone and left a voicemail. I waited a few days and when he did not return my call I called his cell phone again, this time he answered. He told me he was in a meeting and would call me back in 30 minutes. That was over a week ago. In my view he is very unprofessional.

They were efficient and carefully installed the new window while cleaning up and hauling off all the debris from the old window. I would not hesitate to use then again.

He will hire people who haven't been vetted. More than one trade had no idea what they were doing and Cameron was often surprised to find out that info. He placed an unproven sub on our double bathroom remodel. In the end it turned out the sub didn't know how to do anything well. I spent 56 days in a hotel while the bathrooms were demoed, remodeled, demoed again and redone. We lost a significant amount of money from our dealings with Cameron. A year later we are still resolving issues that Cameron allowed.

He tried to sell me a look from the 1980's. I said no. I told my contractor we would go somewhere else. All the sudden, David said they could build the cabinets I wanted. No problem. Well in the long run, David was right. They built poor quality cabinets that would not shut, would not line up, used the wrong hinges. David was rude, terrible to deal with and was happy to build a crappy cabinet to prove his point. The look was good. It was a 17K mistake to use these people. Their customer service is terrible. I can not repeat enough, do not use this unprofessional company.

The fact is that your builder brought you to us, and the first time I met you and your husband, I saw that you two were too picky and I didn't believe anyone could make you happy. I told you this from the start and didn't want to work with you! Your builder, that we have worked for for years insisted that we do the job because he knows that we are the best cabinet shop around. His mistake was thinking that anyone could make you happy. I never said you would "hate" the cabinets, I said I didn't think you would be happy with them. Of course this makes me "rude".
