Been in contact with the installers 3-4 days and still nothing, what could have been a simple fix to do what they told us they would do. Will certainly never recommend a company that wont return calls or emails when they knew it was damaged

We had a 45x45x14 building installed in late July after multiple issues with their contractors. The contractors first arrived at our property on 7/23/26 to begin the installation but waited around our property, throwing their garbage (food, etc.) everywhere without picking it up, completing no work at all. After getting to our house around 6am, they decided to leave around 3pm due to ETC not scheduling their lift to arrive that day. The contractors spoke very negatively about ETC and how they couldn't do anything about the lift or install and we had to take that up with ETC and to "request a discount" for the annoyance and delay. A week later, we rescheduled our install with much hesitation after so much drama with ETC. At this point, they would not give us our $2,900 deposit back (and said they never received it when I have an email receipt) so we proceeded with the installation. And what a horrible decision that was. ETC's contactor returned on 7/31/26 to finally install our building. The lift arrived this time and installation was completed on 8/2/26. We quickly noticed that multiple panels on the back side of our building were not the same color as the rest of the building (taupe). We discussed this with the contractors and they said that ETC didn't provide enough of the correct color panels and someone would be back to replace the incorrect panels. Hang with me people, it gets worse. On 8/6/26, a different contractor showed up with the "correct" panels, installed, didn't speak with us, and left. These new panels were the incorrect color on both the inside and the outside and the contractor didn't think to say anything at all. Crazy. We then decided that we needed to really inspect our building for other issues. Upon inspection, we found MANY issues including: 15-20 roof leaks (didn't find these until our first rain, which damaged our personal property inside the building) Multiple Pencil and pen marks around the perimeter of building marking screw lines need to be removed. 2 panels on the East wall incorrect colors and rusty North East corner pane not properly secured. North east panel corner panel screws missed structural members String line in rafters South West corner big scratch Window Trim not aligned properly in corners Copper gutter trim bubbled at South west and North east corner North walk-thru door not closing properly Gouge in West door Trim around the West door tip right corner Screws missing support north west corner Scratch on copper vertical trim southwest corner South West corner vertical trim bubbled South West corner screw missed structural member above window South east corner panel between doors not fastened properly South side panel between roll up doors with a rough exposed edge caused scratched on adjacent panel Large scratch on south panel Trim on west door not done properly Screws in southwest corner panel missing structural members Gouge in west man door Scratch in southwest vertical copper trim piece Dents and scratches in panels on east wall in multiple locations So, where are things now? Nowhere new. We've tried discussing these issues with ETC (Herminia, specifically) and have gotten nowhere. Our building remains as it was completed in early August. To make things even worse, Herminia (ETC) emailed us yesterday regarding a different contractor coming to our property to assess the damage the prior contractor caused. Herminia specifically said "East Texas Carports would like to send the mentioned subcontractor because he has the necessary tools, is currently in your area to inspect the leaks, determine what is needed and perform all the repairs. The general manager would then do the final inspection on the work. He will be arriving between 4pm-6pm today 9/23/26." There was no question, no request, just a statement (demand) that their contractor would be on-site during that time. Please note that we do not live on, nor near this property and have 2 very young children. With that said, we obliged to ensure this matter was dealt with in a timely manner. We waited on-site with our 1- and 3-year-old children between 4-7:45pm when it got too dark for someone to inspect the building, while emailing ETC multiple times wondering where their contractor was. Unsurprisingly, the contractor never showed up, and we then had to drive the hour home. In addition, I have a recorded call between myself and Brandi (ETC) from 8/21/26 where she harasses me specifically about the money and says "we already have another lady down there who's trying to pull the same stuff you are..." This is extremely inappropriate as we have never failed to pay a company nor contractor for any work that was completed as ordered or contracted. Please save yourself the headache and stress and use literally any other company than East Texas Carports (ETC).

Always on time and kept us in on every detail and aspect from start to finish. Every day before leaving the jobsite was cleaned up to start the next day off right. Could not have asked for better person to lead our project and to see it to completion completely to our satisfaction. We plan on using Frank on all of our future projects. We know the end result will be to our satisfaction and done right and meet all building codes and to the highest standards. I have the text to prove he lied to me. These type of contractors give everyone a bad name. Too lazy to come out to my house to give an estimate but wanted me to video my whole house after I worked all day. I won't be using this app to find contractors anymore. Terrible company and rude!

We scheduled an appointment for an estimate and they did not show up. When our realtor, who was meeting them there, called to ask where they were, they got rude and said we never set an appointment up. When she said we did and she made the 30 minute drive just to meet them there, the receptionist/office manager said, "Well, that's not my problem," and hung up on her. I called back and was quickly handed over to James the owner. When he started raising his voice and being rude to me, I had to tell him I was not being rude so there was no reason for him to be rude. He changed his tone then, but was not apologetic and said that we were the ones at fault and there was nothing he could do to help us out. He said I have highly efficient office managers and they didn't get this wrong. Apparently, sir, they did get this wrong as you lost a customer. I could have overlooked their mistake because they are people and we all make mistakes, but their lack of care, concern, and all around politeness instead earned them this review. I have never made a bad review of anything before because honestly I don't like to hurt the business of other people. I allow for mistakes and off days. This was more than a mistake, it was an attitude problem and issue.

The lady who answered the phone said it could be the next morning before he returned my call. I waited several days and he never called me. So, I called his cell phone and left a voicemail. I waited a few days and when he did not return my call I called his cell phone again, this time he answered. He told me he was in a meeting and would call me back in 30 minutes.
