I sent him the error code on my machine so he could investigate the issue. He was in touch on Saturday to let me know that if he didn't have the needed part in his shop he would have it by Monday. I provided a table for Mr. Appliance technicians to do the repair on but instead they plopped a 100 lb oven on my marble countertop despite my direct request. The technicians continued the 4-hour repair using extensive force while drilling. He apologized and said he would fix it. I have called him several times in the last two months and he said he would fix it every time. He hasn't responded since. The fact that he damaged the walls without saying anything and his subsequent lies about fixing the problem show a lack of integrity. On the fair side, he came and fixed our refrigerator quickly and it has been working ever since. Which makes it all the more disappointing that he chose not to say anything about the damage, then lied about coming to fix it.

All of my questions were expertly answered, and each step in diagnosis was perspicuously detailed. Informed by years of experience, Ijjumaa's chain of deduction and reasoning flows effortlessly. By the time he reached his conclusion, I felt no surprise and had a pretty good idea of the range of costs i faced. After clarifying my choices, he explained avenues for resolution and their practical (part options, time and logistics) and financial ramifications. He suspected that the $150 part (plus labor) was malfunctioning temporarily, having been frozen. Where Dockery's might have charged me for a part that was not working before removing it, they chose to invest in my trust by reinstalling the part and recommending a procedure to follow after he had left and the fridge had completed it's defrost cycle.

Very disappointing experience…read more I paid about $170 for the first repair for an E:23 error. The technician reattached the hose and assured me that the repair was covered by a warranty. Shortly afterward, the same hose became disconnected again and the washer started leaking water. Now I'm being told that I need to pay another $215 for a connector and installation to prevent the hose from disconnecting again. If the technician already knew during the first visit that a connector was needed to properly and permanently fix the problem, why wasn't I given the option to have it installed then as part of a complete repair? Instead, I paid $170 for a temporary fix, was told it had a warranty, and now I'm being asked to pay even more for a second visit. I would have much preferred an honest, upfront price for a complete repair from the beginning rather than paying twice for the same underlying issue.
