EXCELLENT SERVICE. A++++++++++++++++ HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I decided to come here for a smog because Mt Pleasant Smog has 5 stars here on Yelp and now I can definitely see why. :) Jesus was super helpful, polite, and kind. He helped me to get a smog service and the process went by very smoothly. It is very reasonably priced and the smog service was fast and efficient. They have really GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE here. Jesus let me know that the DMV will have my updated smog information within the hour and gave me some tips on future car care. Super helpful. Thank you so much. read more

Great experience with this smog check. Quick response / quote. Easy to set up an appointment. Drove in at set time, done in less than 15 minutes. (Kept the quoted price) Excellent communication each step of the way with the actual procedure, including timing of next steps. Cannot recommend this place strongly enough. read more

Super quick and excellent service! Best prices in town! Will definitely bring all my cars here

Had a great experience with Jesus! He quickly responded to my request for a quote. I arrived in the early afternoon and was able to get in and out within 15 minutes. Jesus explained everything he was going to do, submitted the results to the dmv and I was able to tap to pay. The total rate with coupon was $40. I was able to complete my dmv registration online later that evening. Really appreciated the quick and easy process and affordable rates! read more

Send out a quote on yelp and received a prompt reply from Mt Pleasant Smog Check and decided to give it a try. Service 5/5: Was quick 10-15 mins and no wait as walk in. ( Arrived Tuesday 8:45am) Cost 5/5: Because of the promotion on Yelp I was quoted 28$+ tax = 35$ . 30% discount compared to other larger smog businesses. ( Average $55 +) Wait 5/5: And no wait as walk in. ( Arrived Tuesday 8:45am) I called ahead at their number but wasn't busy in the morning. Final thoughts + Tip Highly recommend this location for the reasons above- Also support you local young latino businesses! *Mention Yelp promotion and they will honor the 35$ price. read more

Amazing service, Jesus is THE guy! Super knowledgeable and friendly, got the smog check done efficiently for a super affordable price. Will definitely come here again and recommend to friends/family. Thanks again! read more

I wish all business owners give the same level of customer service Jesus gives. From my initial phone call to clearly explaining why my 25 year old car failed and what I need to do to pass, he was courteous and super friendly. Lucky for me, I only needed to drive my car around since the car hadn't ran in 3 years and battery was replaced. The O2 and Cat sensors needed to be reset. See! I wouldn't have ever known any of that, but Jesus is the sensei! I would recommend Mt. Pleasant Smog Check to anyone and everyone. BTW, there is another smog station right a block from this shop that I almost accidentally went to. Just look for Tire Time. It's right next door. Update: I passed! read more

I needed a Smog Check for my camry. I was in and out in 9mins, yes 9mins. Jesus was great in explaining and providing the services quick and fast. I dont think anyone in the whole Bay Area can beat his price. Try out and see it yourself. read more

This is the only place I will get my smog check ever again. I reached out for a walk in appointment and Jesus responded before I could even close the app on my phone. I came through and seeing how he kept his garage shows that he's good with the details. He got my car done quickly and even took some extra time to make sure I knew about a couple things to keep an eye on inside my engine. When I was driving over I turned in to the wrong smog station, but I'm so glad that I got back on the street and went down the road to Jesus' place, because however much he wants to charge you is always going to cost way more anywhere else. read more

Had a great experience with Rafael. My appt was 11am on fri. I arrived early and only 1 ahead of me so he took me in early. Was in and out in 15 minutes. $35 and they electronically sent to DMV. I just need to mail in my payment to DMV. Found them on yelp. They were the 1st to respond on my yelp inquiry. Went to the 1100 s. White Rd. location. Their original shop. The one on Story rd. is their newest shop that just opened. read more

Fast, reliable, affordable smog check service. I found them on Yelp and they replied so fast. I didn't have my papers but they did it via my vin number which helped because I only had a few days left. The value was amazing I will be coming back again. Plenty of parking and the lot is spacious not like other places with tons of cars. Easy to find, just look for the tire time sign. It's across from the pepboys on story rd, before the car wash spot down from homedepot. There's also a little Mexican food cart in case you get hungry during your wait, although it's only 10 minute wait for the smog. read more

Great and quick service! They responded fast when I asked for a quote. Reasonably priced!

My neighbor highly recommended MT PLEASANT SMOG CHECK, and I would agree. I called to ask for availability and Jesus asked when I would like to come. Would he be available in half an hour? Jesus said "yes", and I hurried over. Just as I arrived, another car turned in before me but I was amazed that someone was directing the car to back out of the bay, perhaps explaining that there was already another appointment taken at that time? That someone was Jesus. I really appreciated that...that is excellent customer service !!! All in all, I was out of there in 10 minutes, maybe even less time. Jesus was kind enough to explain to wait an hour before renewing my registration via DMV kiosk or AAA. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I plan to go back MPSC in 2 years time... Thanks Jesus! read more
